[/size][/font][/blockquote][/blockquote]when elias was adopted by the carr family about two years ago, he was shy to say the least. you know the type. he was awkward, timid, and all of that. a sweet kid, but a complete loser. people told him he needed to get out of his shell, and he eventually did. he thought that was supposed to be a good thing, but recently some not terribly good things have happened. we'll get to that later. anyway, eli became a lot more outgoing. and confident, even - at least most of the time. he has his moments, of course. catch him way off guard, and he'll be back to the awkward, mumbling boy he used to be. he hasn't become a completely new person. he's still very much the type to try to keep all of his problems bottled up inside, often to the point that he denies their existence to even himself. and despite being fairly book-smart, he's not the most rational person when it comes to non-academic situations.
friends. eli's a friendly person and genuinely likes people, so he'll probably have a good number of decent friends. he'll need a few closer ones as well. i don't have anything specific in mind, so feel free to throw ideas at me.
enemies. everyone has these, and eli isn't an exception. he's not all that forward about it when he doesn't like someone, but there are people that just don't get along. really, i'm cool with anything here as long as it's plausible.
lovers. so, this is where things get a bit complicated. in short, he and his girlfriend of a year or so hadn't been doing so well, and he got the brilliant idea that he could fix things by making her jealous. obviously this idea was quite flawed in itself, but wait. there's more. not only does he do the whole jerk thing and use another girl to accomplish this - of all of the girls he might have picked, he sleeps with his adopted sister, and hasn't yet quite gotten around to mentioning to her that he was only using her to get back at his girlfriend. whoops. and then he finds out that she's pregnant. obviously all of that is his little secret. anyway, aside from these two, he's not going to have a lot going on here. he does need the girlfriend, though, so if anyone is interested in that, let me know?
