*I'm climbing out this abyss You screaming as I walk out that I'll be missed But when you spoke to people who meant the most to you You left me off your list*~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The story of a screwed up boy that turns into a drunken man starts here in the middle of a small night club in Lipton atleast for the night. Colin O’Riley was truly a sad case these days, He was spending his days being drunk and spending all of his money stupidly on beer and prostitutes or on some floozy he decided to sleep with for a few days but at the end up of the day it was all the same. He was destroying his life and his physical health was not the best of shape at all for a typical nineteen year old guy, he had been rushed to the e.r. recently because he was having seizures it scared his little sister to death but two days later he was once more. There was nothing in his life anymore that he really cared for other then for Syeria but his dirty habit has pushed his younger sister away from him and he has sort given up for the time being.
Colin was sitting on a bar stool at the bar chugging down one beer after another while a group of high school girls were giggling at the other end of the bar, he was too blazed to really focus on all of them except for this one redhead with a huge rack which is basically the only reason. He ordered two shots of vodka and headed towards the female.”Well hello there..”she said to the girl as he pushed the shot into her hand and downed his.”I doubt you are really old enough to be here but who cares when you have those tits.So let’s bail on your friends and I’ll take to you back to my place”He added obnoxiously before moving a hand through his dark brown hair and gave her a wicked smile. The Redhead laughed at him and led him back into the ladies bathroom without saying much of anything as they did their thing and parted ways.
After awhile Colin was back at the bar alone this time drinking all over again without one care in the world. He was stumbling over his words by now but no one seemed to really care or notice that he was beyond helpless now.

The bar had to be one of her favorite place lately. She could drink and smoke as much as she wanted without getting lectured not to do so. She was changing a little, growing a little rebellious and pulling herself out of her shy shell. She didn't know where life was going to take her. Whether it was going to be any longer or she was going to die in coming days for she had cancer, just like her mom who passed away years ago. Finding life to be too short, she wanted to live it all and to the fullest and to drag herself out of her depression, drinks, drugs and smoking did the trick. Nora entered the bar with the thought in her mind that she would drink only a glass and not more because she didn't wanted to end up getting drunk. Getting drunk all alone could be dangerous. Who knew which man out there was ready to take an advantage of her and tie her to the bed. She had been through it once and it was enough for a life time experience but she didn't regret it that much. The guy she lost her V card was Colin, someone she fancied a lot. It was a HUGE crush and a lot of physical attraction she had towards him and she tried every way to hold his attention and eventually they turned into good friends and hanged out around the town.
One day they were drunk and they slept together. Nest morning, Nora was mad at him but she knew it wasn't just his fault but hers too because they were both drunk. It created awkwardness between them and she started to ignore him but that didn't mean she got over her crush. A part of her made her smile thinking abut him while the other literally cursed herself. She knew she wanted to give him another chance, He was too good and her heart would always skip a beat whenever he was around her, or talking to her. He held a strong affect on her.
Coincidence was that as she moved around the bar, a drunken girl had pushed Nora and Nora fell backward on the nearby table and over a person's back. Pulling herself up quickly, she looked out for the drunken girl to lecture her but she had disappeared into the crowd of the bar. Turning towards the boy she was taken aback to see that the boy she fell on was Colin. She rubbed her eyes, not believing it at all and thinking either it was her imagination but it was true. He was there, right in front of her. Her heart beat got faster and her cheeks turned to shocking pink. She managed to settle down next to him, feeling weak in her knees. ''I-er-I-erm- sorry. I was pushed and erm fell..'' she stuttered nervously. He seemed to be drinking a lot and that wasn't good because she knew he would be driving home all drunk which could be dangerous.
She took a hold of his bottle and pulled it towards herself. You've had enough Colin. '' she said. I mean, I thought you stopped drinking too much when we were you know friends back then..'' before getting drunk, they tried to have some good influence on each other and they decided that they wouldn't drink too much. '' If you get too much drunk, how are you going to drive yourself home, it's reckless. have you thought about that?'' she was concerned and there was worry in her tone. no matter what, she still felt the same for him like before.

Colin sipped his drink, not a care in the world. Suddenly someone fell over Colin; he turned around to see who it was, really only noticing it was a girl. Most girls had that reaction around him. “ Its ok as long as I can buy you a drink.” His words came out slurred, and very little of it was understandable. Colin wasn’t the least affected to find out that it was an old friend of his, Nora. He was taken aback though, when she took away his drink. Frowning slightly, he listened to her slight ramble. He was a grown man, and he could drink what he wanted, how much he wanted. ” Have you forgotten that I am a grown man?” His words still slurred, he made his point. He had never stopped drinking, nor had it ever gotten any better. Colin sighed, looking at his drink as he spoke. “ I don’t remember ever quitting drinks, but I guess if I did it was the worst seven minutes of my life” By the end of his sentence Colin looked Nora right in they, it was only suiting.
Colin really didn’t worry how he got home most nights, he usually didn’t have to. Most nights some lucky girl would take him home, or back to her place. Either way, he still never drove home drunk most nights. He leaned towards just a bit. “ Don’t be so worried about how I get home unless you want to take me. Or are you afraid of what might happen?” Colin smiled mischievously. He really had no idea what he was saying, not because his slur was so bad, but because he was off the deep end.
Colin remembered Nora as an old friend, until they had slept together. Colin had no idea how it had happened; he remembered the drinking and then her being incredibly mad at him in the morning. Colin didn’t feel it was all his fault because she had drank just as much as he had it was just a full circle. Colin didn’t care to what he was saying, the words were his thoughts without a leash. She looked the way she always had, nothing had obviously changed with her, not that he would be able to tell in his state of mind.
Colin sat up straight and just ordered another drink. He pointedly half gulped it while looking at her. The bar was his home, his actual house? That was his home away from home. Colin used his house for a bed and food, not much else. All the bartenders knew him by name, as well as the bouncers and Djs. The bouncers didn’t even ask for an ID anymore, nor did Colin wait in line. The bar was the only place were he happily spent his time.

Colin told her that it was okay as long as he could buy her a drink. She shook her head. She wasn't really there for drinking. She was trying to keep herself from drinking. It was dangerous. And it would only make her feel even more sick. Her stomach would burn. Damn as much as tempting offer it was she just couldn't say a yes. '' I'm not here to drink Colin. '' she said. He looked shocked to see her and she felt the same at first but she felt happy too. Truly she missed him but wanted to give him another chance, be friends like before or perhaps more because she couldn't get over her crush. As he spoke she listened to him carefully, trying to make out what he was saying as the words slurred out of his voice and it was getting too noisy. She moved closer a little to listen to him talk. He told her that he never quit drinking and she looked at him. Really? had he forgotten the time they were friends back then and both decided to stop drinking and they did. She wasn't going to remind him. It was pointless. He really wasn't in his senses.
She blushed hearing his next comment. She would never take him to her home. Dylan would be so mad. He would kill.. '''' No I would not take you to my house..'' she said. Her cheeks turned red thinking of all the possibilities that could happen between them. She liked him a lot and he was drunk. Boy, a lot could happen and she may enjoy it this time.. she snapped herself out of all these thoughts and cursed herself in her mind. '' No. I'm not worried, or scared. What possibly bad can ever happen? '' she acted like she didn't know although she did just to see if he was still willing to do what they did the last time.
As he ordered another drink for himself she frowned, pushing the drink that she had pulled from him to stop him from drinking. '' Why did you order another one? Whose going to drink this?'' she said and sat up on the table. The chair was just very uncomfortable. It would numb her butt. '' So how've you been?'' she asked, after a little bit of silence. A stranger boy came upto her and asked her if she wanted to join him on the dance floor. She looked at him weirdly. '' Excuse me?'' she said. She would never get so free with strangers, especially the ones at the bar because they were always drunk and creepy. They were trouble. ' Just asking a lovely and lonely girl out for some dancing, that's all. Come on babe. ' he said and Nora shook her head. She put her hand on Colin's shoulder and looked up at the boy. ''Sorry Mister, but you see I'm not alone here, I'm already taken...'' she looked at Colin realizing what she said. '' I mean I'm with him'' she said and the boy went away. Wow.. that was creepy. She thought.

Colin sighed and ran his fingers through his short hair. He took another gulp of his drink and put it back down. Smiling at her words he rested his forward on hers and looked her in the eyes. “ Don’t play games Lass, you know better than anyone want I was talking ‘bout.” He whispered to make his point. He leaned back up and took another swig of his drink. Colin didn’t like games, especially when It came to girls. So she didn’t drink anymore? Colin shook his head, the thought of not drinking anymore wasn’t new to him, in fact he thought about it a lot of the time.
“ I ordered another one because you took mine.” Smiling he, looked over at some girls looking at him. He winked but took his attention back to Nora. He sat up just a little straighter, shifting in his seat. He wondered slightly why girls always acted like they did, like they were interested, just to hurt you in the end. Guys were none the better, and Colin was no exception he was quite a heart breaker of sorts. Swishing his beer bottle slightly, he took another sip. He put the bottle down, watching as the yellowish color swirled, it was hypnotizing.
He saw the Lad as he made his way to Nora, and chuckled at the kid for trying. He got a A for effort in Colins book. Nora sounded baffled, and she baffled Colin by saying she was with him. He decided to play along, and he put his arm around Nora. “ Ay, Lad she is with me, so run along.” Colin made a “move along” motion with the hand still wrapped around Nora. He smiled mischievously at her, and took his arm away when the poor guy moved along. He threw his beer bottle into the trash pile behind the bar, loving the sound of the other glass bottles breaking. He looked at Nora, still smiling and raised a questioning brow before he spoke. “ So you’re here with me now are you?” He smiled smugly.
