she smiled and politely said" thank you!" she loved ryan and that was true. even know all the things going on with him, she loved him. she looked around, and then back to addie. college people really knew how to do it with parties. or just older kids. ryan didn't go to school, anymore. he worked, and spent his time with allie. i guess, that wasn't really fair. ryan should do something else with his time. like go to college.
she smiled, and said" yeah, that would be cool!" even know she knew it would never happen, she said it to be nice. who knew though. she knew they wouldn't do it though. she knew how these things went. she always ended up with her sister, or ryan. that was what her life came down too always. she never really did anything. this, going to the library was pretty much the most she had done all week. her life excitement was pretty low. only if ryan wanted to go out, then she went out. it was sad though, but hey it was allie's life.

Allison agreed that they should go partying together sometime and Adelaide smiled lightly. They both knew that it wouldn't happen. It was too awkward between them to even consider going partying together. She was certain that they'd both be civil to each other at a party, though. Maybe even after several drinks they would be the best of friends again. It was funny at how alcohol could have that affect on someone. However, since Adelaide had sworn off partying, she knew that there was absolutely no chance of this happening. She wasn't too disappointed. She missed partying, but she could easily do without the awkward situation it would be if she and Allie did go partying together.
Shrugging this off, her eyes glanced down to the text book. She couldn't focus at all now, her thoughts seemed to be even more crowded up than before. Shifting in her seat, she debated on something to say. Anything to keep their conversation going and off the project. "So... tell me about... Ryan, was it? Your boyfriend." Smiling, the teen hoped to sound somewhat enthusiastic. She was curious as to what kind of boyfriend Allison had ended up with. And, her curiosity was there even more so if it meant getting out of this project. Anything to not have to work on that.

she smiled, knowing perfectly tht she wouldn't be partying with addie. she was fine with this, she didn't get time for anyone expect ryan. she smiled, and now since the baby, there wouldn't be much time for anything else but him and the baby. she put her fake smile on, and let it go. life would go on.
she looked at addie when she said something about ryan. how could she describe ryan? without letting out the fact that he beats her? hmm. she smiled, of course her fake one, and then said" ryan's great. he's basically my best friend. he can be alittle crazy though, but what boy can't be, right?" she laughed, and then said" any guys for you?"

Allison seemed to be lost in thought about her boyfriend, which Adelaide just assumed was because she adored him so much. Little did she know that it was simply due to the fact that Allie was looking for a sneakier way to word things. She and Allie were so alike it was strange. Yes, they were different, but at the same time they were both hiding a secret very similar. Neither knew this, of course, and neither probably ever would... but, that's okay. It all made sense as to why they had once been so close.
Addie smiled lightly, hoping to look interested as Allie described her boyfriend. He was her best friend, and that sent Adelaide's thoughts roaming back to Connor. Especially as the next question came around. A small frown laced her lips, and she pondered her answer. She had always been more of a 'one time thing' kind of girl. She lived for the moment and hated the idea of committing to a relationship. It was just the way she was. Most girls wanted a 'prince charming' and, so did Addie... just, in due time. Not now.
"He sounds like a good guy," Adelaide replied, earnestly. She hoped that Allison hadn't noticed her slightly spacious thoughts. Though, Allie seemed slightly distracted herself. Addie didn't mind, though. "And, nah, no boys for me... I'd rather just be single right now. It's more fun that way." A slight smirk, and she couldn't help but to laugh. Single was the light term. Complicated would probably have been a better match, but oh well.

allie and addie seemed to be playing the little game called pretending to be alright. it was something that she forgot that she had in her. but when she knew that it was important, it was a trait that came out. all girls had it in them, and no, none of them were proud of that either. but, it was neccessory sometimes to do that. '
she looked to addie, sometimes she wished they didn't drift away like they did. and, maybe just maybe, she could tell her where the bruise on her leg had came from, how she was carrying ryan's baby inside of her. but, no, after years of drifting apart from eachother, she can't even tell someone how life really is for her anymore. she grew up with addie, and she simply just can't tell her the straight up truth. it was highly sad, but it was life for sure. she smiled and said" oh, yeah, he is." she said with her little smile. if anyone knew her walked by, they would know that ryan isn't a good guy, and that smile was fake.
she smiled at the answer, and said" single is surely a good thing, i miss it sometimes. even know i love ryan." yeah she loved her boyfriend, but sometimes, she missed the whole flirting game. she smiled at her old best friend, the one that looked so fake but, sometimes people couldn't tell that it was.
note: sorry this is so late. :/ i had lost my muse for allie for a while...
