Amy had gone off for past two weeks to visit her sick grandma without taking her cell phone along and hadn't been in contact with her dear fiance alan for complete two whole weeks. it was crazy. she missed him damn too much that once she slept crying, missing him. She couldn't help but miss him more and more every time she thought of him. They had spend just one a whole month together to get to know each other and gotten so much attached that she had been missing him a lot and literally dying to get back home to meet him. After resting she found him online and he asked her to meet her at the town square around 6 pm. He seemed to be so different, so much more fun, and romantic, like he was taking this relationship even more seriously and she felt very special the way he treated her. She took a bath and dressed up pulling on a dress and heels and letting her newly dyed hair spread on her shoulder, she picked up his gifts that she had brought for him like a couple of shirts and a few books of his taste and ran of to bake cookies for him. it didn't take her more than half an hour to bake his favorite cookies and by 6 :30 pm he was outside waiting for her in his car. Picking up her hand bag and stuffing in his gifts and the box of cookies she made her way outside and sat in his car, before locking the house as her parents had gone off to work. She sat next to him and smiled. She had seen him after such a long time, she missed him a lot. she kept her eyes locked on him as he droved them to town sqaure. As he parked the car in the parking lott, she took off her bag and pulled out his gifts and handed it to them and then pulled out the box of cookies. I baked you some, thought you missed them. '' she smiled staring into his eyes and smiling. She ran her hand through her dark brown hair. '' So, you didn't tell me, how do I look ?

Those very long two weeks his fiancée Amy was gone were total hell for Alan, because he was really bored without her hardly knowing anyone in this town and not knowing where she went was even worse. Clearly she didn’t bring her phone with her and when she finally got back and get to talking to him he was so glad, talking to her online was not enough for him so he told her he was going to take her out at 6. He even went as far as making reservations at a restaurant and tried to dress his best, he actually did look very nice. Even though like always his hair was a complete mess, people said it looked better that way though and in a way it really did, his hair just looked weird all nice and fixed right. So he just really never bothered with it, pulling his shoes on he nodded at his self looking in his mirror before going to pick up Amy in his car. His parents were still not home, getting to her house right at 6:30 he smiled. Not late and not early, he thought when she got into his car, and she looked so beautiful. Looking at her before heading into town square he had trouble even keeping his eye on the road, and getting to the place where they would be eating he got out looking at her even better. “You made me cookies” he smiled, he loved the cookies she baked as they were really good. “I did miss them, and about how you look. Amy you look beautiful” he said it very truthfully.

Two weeks were like hell for Amy. She missed him so much. Seeing him sitting next to him, she felt so happy, so warm inside. it felt so good. She could feel a change within himself as he was more serious about their relation, more willing to go out with her out of his own happiness and not for the sake of their parents. this was a good change she thought. She dressed up in a little white dress that matched her heels. He told her that he was going to give her a surprise and she was very excited. She handed him the box of cookies. She nodded. '' I know you love them.'' she smiled. Placing the other gifts on the back seat she made her way out of the car and walked towards him, leaning against the wall. '' Thanks. You look so great yourself.'' she smiled. His hair were messy and some of them fell on his eyes. She couldn't resist the temptation, her hand reached out and brushed his messy hair out of his eyes and when she realized what she had done, she shook her head. Her cheeks turned red. This was so awkward. She could feel butterflies in her stomach.

'' So where is my surprise?'' she asked and stood there, wondering what could be the surprise.

Those two weeks was like hell for Alan actually, he missed Amy like crazy since without her here he had nothing to do seeing as he hardly know people in this town. He knew he really had to get out more and meet new people soon enough but he just never really got to that yet, maybe he was just not really ready for that he wasn’t really all that sure. He did want to meet new people; of course he did he just wasn’t all too sure if people would actually like him since from what Amy said he was boring. “I do love them you make very good cookies and if they didn’t make people fat and they were good for you and consisted all food groups I would live off them, but sadly they are not thus I can’t go ahead and live off cookies” he frowned a little bit watching her put the gifts she brought in his car. Eating a cookie quick he put them in there to, “thank you I glad I look alright” he also watch her move pieces of hair out of his face. He smiled at that, “ah yeah your surprise. Hmm well for once in my life I actually made reservations at a restaurant and let me tell you it was not easy. I had no idea what I was doing” he shook his head slightly.

Just two weeks and she could see the change in him. he was taking this relation even more seriously than before but this time he wasn't forced to do anything but he was all on his own, like he was willing to settle in with him and this made her feel so pleased. she was amused to see how he treated her like aprincess. everything felt so special. She never really meant that he was boring, it was just a joke. truth was that he wasn't the fun person Amy was and she respected the fact that he was different. She heard him talk about cookies and she chuckled. '' I'm so glad you like them. '' she said. Finally there was one thing she had impressed him with. I must say, my future husband is damn hot. Ain't I the luckiest?'' she brushed her hands on his shirt. She jumped in excitement as she heard him tell her that he had made reservation. this was so sweet of him. she wanted to hug him but she wasn't sure if she should or not. Tugging him on his arm she started to walk. '' Oh so what are we waiting for? let's go! '' she said and reached for his hand. Her fingers perfectly fit against his and this made her smile. it was so sweet of him and this was going to be their first romantic date.

She entered in and looked around. The place where he had booked their table was so beautifully decorated. She placed her bag on the table and moved towards him and hugged him. '' This all is so beautiful. Ohmy gosh, I love it. she said and settled in the chair.

In a way Alan did change to, he grew to see them being together as more of an actual relationship and less like something his mommy and daddy planned out and he was just going through with. He actually even liked the fact that they were together now, people actually were able to see them as a couple even, and it wasn’t as awkward between them as much as it once was. He knew he had to treat her like a princess, because to him she deserved to be treated that way and she should be treated that way to. She was his princess, so beautiful and he couldn’t help but smile right now at her. “I do love them a lot actually they are really good cookies and thanks. I’m totally glad that I’m damn hot” Alan laughed a little bit, “proving that you are totally lucky” he added. Taking her hand in his he smiled before walking right into the restaurant and the their table. “I’m very glad you love it” he said before he just sat down at the table, “I had a feeling you would”.

She was so happy she couldn't explain it in words. She was speechless. He was treating her so differently than before, and she loved it. there wasn't awkwardness anymore, it was uncomfortable either. They had mingled well enough with each other to spend good times together but she didn't know whether what this meant and it was going to take her some time to figure it out. She could say that he did everything on his own out of his own happiness and she wanted to treat him just the way he treated her. She broke Reed's heart but she wasn't going to do anything to upset Alan. She promised herself. She smiled. Oh boy, she was smiling damn too much today and it was all thanks to Alan. '' Indeed I'm very lucky to have you'' she admitted. She moved her chair next to his so they were closer to each other. '' This all is so amazing. I don't know how to thank you for any of it. '' she said looking into his eyes. She looked around to see a few couple dancing to the beats of the music. So this is our first romantic date, isn't it? ''

Alan knew all about the past relationship that Amy and Reed shared and a huge part of him really felt sorry for the boy, since even though he knew he was to be engaged to Amy her true happiness would mean a lot more to him than his own and he wanted her to be happy. He sometimes wondered if he actually ever really made her happy, before tonight of course, tonight he knew for a fact she was happy. “You know you have a really beautiful smile” he said quietly looking at her smiling his self. “I’m glad that you feel that way, because I feel very lucky to have you and I know even though this engagement was clearly unplanned we van totally make it work and you can thank me by being happy. I like seeing you happy actually” he nodded head slightly, “yes it is our very first actual romantic date. Is this a bad thing?"

Amy's heart skipped a beat when he start talking, telling her all the things she never expected he would say. Noe their relationship displayed more emotions and feelings than ever. The beginning was awkward and weird but now, it all fit in perfectly. For her this engagement was a compromise to keep her parents happy and she wasn't pleased with it at all but after spending time with Alan, things were different. She was actually starting to like him too much. It scared her if she made a wrong move, it could mess up things so she held back her feelings for him. She never thought that Alan could replace Reed but he had. He felt lucky to have her? why? what was so special? She felt shy and shook her head, her cheeks turned red and she placed her hand on his. Looking into his eyes she smiled again. And you know you've the most gorgeous eyes ever.'' she said. At the starting this engagement was only trouble for them and they were forced to be together which was tad annoying but now, she was liking it a lot. '' We're making it work out very well. You make me smile all the time. it feels so different to have you around, Alan. '' she had so many things on her mind to tell him, so many praises but she wasn't sure if she should or not. You know, you're very special to me now.. she admitted. '' I love having you around and seeing you happy too.'' he was starting to mean a lot to her. '' Not at all. It's a very sweet thing. Love it. So you've anything planned for what you want to do with me on our first romantic date, my love? '' she teased him with a sexy tone and leaned over, putting her arms around his neck. She bit her lips staring into his eyes. Oh she loved teasing him! She had the right to do so, then why not use it and have fun.

Alan remembered when he and Amy first met, it was complete and total awkwardness to the point they didn’t even talk to each other at all. After time the awkwardness slowly faded away and now he even enjoyed talking to Amy since she just seemed to be so easy for him to talk to and he was almost happy to be in her company. Okay in fact he was very happy to be in her company, “glad you like my eyes they are a dark green” he smiled at her moving pieces of hair out of his face quickly. He was so happy they were able to be comfortable around each other now, “”I’m very glad that I make you happy all the time now Amy. I was almost afraid that we were to different and this engagement would never ever work out and if that was so it would be a very bad thing, and I haven’t really planned anything else. I’m at the moment very open to suggesting though” he looked at her. Oh boy did she like teasing him he noticed.

'' But that's not really my reason to like them. there is more to it. That I can't explain..'' she whispered, looking into his eyes. She never had thought that such a day would come when she would love to spend her time with him and smile around him. Also sit with him for a candle light dinner and stare in his eyes. It was perfect. She was able to understand what he was saying. Earliar she felt the same but now she was very glad things were working out between them Squeezing his hand she gave him the assuring look. '' Alan, we have worked it out really well. We've tried our best. Things can't be any better than this. It's like a miracle and I'm really the luckiest, not because you're hot, because you loyal, honest, caring, sweet and perfect. '' she smiled. She meant every word of it. '' At first I thought my life was ruined but I was wrong, this compromised turned out well. And I promise, i'll always be sincere and honest with like you are with me. I'll never disappoint you. '' she would never hurt like she hurt reed. She loved and enjoyed teasing him at the same time. '' Why do I have to suggest everything to you? How about, be a little more romantic. Close your eyes and think what you would fancy doing and just do it. '' she grinned. Enough of awkwardness, it was time for full on romance now.

Alan just nodded his head slightly running his fingers slowly through his sandy brown hair with a small smile, “than I won’t make you explain a thing my dear if you can’t seem to explain your reasons for liking my eyes so much. Even though I find my eyes plain and an almost very boring shade of green, and people still seem to like them. I also know I have my dad’s eyes, it’s one of the features that I got from him next to my nose, I get my hair from my mom. My dad has brown hair and she has blond hair, I get my ears from my grandfather and I’m pretty sure my mom is left handed and my dad is right handed, I’m right handed myself” Alan shrugged his shoulders a little bit. “I know we’ve tried our best, because that’s the only thing we can do is try our best and even though at first things were not turning out well we pulled through and we will have a great life together after we are married and I’m glad you will be honest with me. That is all I would ever want from you is honesty, because I’ll always be honest with you” he nodded his head slightly. “All I have is if it isn’t too late and dark when we can just take a walk r something” he wasn’t always sure about these things.

She heard him talk about how his eyes were plain but that everyone liked them and then he told her how he looked like his dad and the rest of the family. She kept smiling as he kept talking. Seeing him talk soo much wanted to shut up but she liked seeing his lips move so fast. it was amusing how he could talk so fast, about so many different things all at once. '' I never thought I would say this but Alan I must confess that I really like you. '' she confessed shyly. '' I promise I'll never give you a chance to be upset or mad at me and honest too, no matter what. '' but this promise wasn't a compromise. she did it out of her own will.'' That's good idea. ''she beamed at him. Getting married in upcoming months was exciting. '' you know I really like talking about marriage now, so tell me, how do you want things to be between us after marriage? '' marriage was a sweet and fascinating topic and she couldn't stop thinking about it.

Alan always had a problem with talking fast and talking way too much, he even had the problem back in high school when he had an oral report because he never made it in the time he had to. He also had the tendency of talking even faster when he was nervous. “I really like you to Amy so I’m glad that you really like me, and to be honest I never really thought it would end up this way since this was never what either of us expected and we had no idea how things were ever going to work out. I’m very glad that they did work out though” he smiled a little bit at her. “I’m glad for that, I only want honesty” he nodded his head thinking. “To be honest I don’t even know, I just want things they way they are now I guess” he shrugged a little bit.

When he confessed that he liked her too, she felt so happy, she couldn't explain it. Breaking Reed's heart was the worst thing but today it seemed like meeting Alan was like the best thing in her life. He would make her happy, be there for her when she needed someone to comfort her. He seemed to be like her everything now. This all began with a drama in her life that blow tore heart apart at the begining but now, she felt like a very lucky girl. As he spoke, she looked into his eyes, smiling to herself. He talked too much and it was not just entertaining but cute. This place was the perfect spot, it was their romantic dinner and she just couldn't hold herself back from doing what she had in her mind. So she went for, and leaned over and kissed his lips, gently. And then pulled away. It wasn't a long or a short kiss but enough for him to know how she felt for him as she poured all her feelings into the kiss. Her heart raced against her chest after she had done it. she wasn't sure if she did the right thing or not but it felt right. '' I-er-I'm sorry'' escaped from her lips. She bite her lips nervously not knowing what to say any further.
