The past few weeks living at home was getting rather difficult since Syeria and her brother were not getting along that much anymore but tonight was when Colin finally pushed his baby sister over the edge when he came home in yet another drunken stooper and she went off on him basically telling him he was turning into her father more and more everyday and she wasn’t going to let him hurt her anymore by being so reckless and forgetful of her feelings but by the time she went up to her room she regretted everything she had said. Syeria's sanity and patience with everything was running thinner by the minute so it was hard for her not to feel like she was going to end up in padded room.

It was rather late when she had texted Eli to tell him she was coming over to his house because she could not sleep once again and she needed him badly for so many reasons not to mention it was not a good idea to be downstairs on the computer where Colin would be. She really did just wanna run away and never come back to Lipton but she could never leave her friends or mostly Eli because the boy was becoming her everything more and more everyday even if she still had a big crush on Thomas but right now it did not matter right? After she threw some of her things in her messenger bag she put her hoodie on and slippers on, not bothering to put real clothes on but she did put her hair in a messy bun before she finally climbed out her bedroom window and started to walk down the path towards Elijah's house.

” Please be awake. I’m on my way."is what the text said that she sent to her boyfriend as she listened to Mandy moore on hr ipod humming along to it trying to keep her mind off the creepy things that could possibly be lurking out in the dark for her. She shivered fearfully and quickened her pace down the street.
When she spotted his house she practically ran across the street trying not fall on her face over something."shit.how do i get his attention? Knock or find his window??"she thought to herself before yanking out her phone to text him again.

<sub>When Kizzy texted him of course Eli woke up, that was what made him so glad that he kept his phone on during the night just in case and getting the text message saying that she was coming over Eli was sure that she really needed him. That was usually the reason that she texted him during the night, and of course no matter how tired he was he would always be there for her. As her best friend and now even as her boyfriend, the very thought of them now being together made him blush and getting another text he checked his phone before glancing around his room glad that it’s clean . “No worries Kizzy I’m awake, I heard my phone on my dresser and woke up knowing it was you. I’d do anything for you and you know that” he texted back before running his fingers through his hair to try and fix it the best he could.

His phone vibrated in his pocket moments later and he pulled it out reading the newest text, “alright I’m going to open my window. No worries you’ll be able to get up, I snuck out from my window when I went to meet you early in the morning at Walgreens. You just need to use that one tree right by my window, the right side of it and be quiet to so you don’t wake anyone up of course. Waking up my parents or my brother is the last thing we need right now” he sent the text before he walked over to his window putting his phone down on his bed. Pulling up the blinds he peeked out of it quickly before undoing the locks and yanking it open. The cool night air hit his face before he looked out to try and see if he could see Kizzy anywhere, hopefully she remembered which window was his. She was at his house many different times before so it shouldn’t really be that hard right.

“Okay window is open” the only reason she was using his window was it was quieter and he really didn’t want to wake up his sleeping family and try to explain what was going on. He had a feeling that would be a very awkward conversation on his part, and he didn’t really find the need to really explain it. He also knew if he left his room to the living room he’d pass his brother’s room and the floor squeaked.</sub>

Syeria had only waited a few minutes outside her boyfriend’s house before he told her where to go in a text and she smiled softly before she walked towards the window he told her to and started to work her way up the tall tree towards Elijah’s window. It was not a habit for Kizzy to being sneaking out of her house so late at night for one but going into people’s houses by windows weren’t either but she still was doing it because it was the only way to see her best friend and one of the things that kept her happy now a days. When she found his opened window she tapped on it very lightly to let him know it was before she climbed into it and landed on his bed and shook leaves out of her hair before she looked around for Elijah.

A moment later she spotted her best friend and waved over at him shyly.”Hey Eli,I‘m sorry to be coming over so late but you are the only one I trust to go to.”she said softly and stepped off his bed and walked over to him trying not to make too much noise so she wouldn’t wake up his family. She embraced him in a hug and kissed him on the side of his mouth because she wasn’t really that brave to kiss him completely just yet. [/

<sub>Eli knew how to work fast, and since he knew that there was no way he could get down stairs without waking so one up the window would be the best bet for Kizzy getting inside. As long as she was quiet of course and standing in the corner of the room he waited in till she was inside of his room and it shouldn’t be too hard. He used his window for late night escapes when Kizzy needed him before and when he needed to get back into his room; he just climbed back up and landed on his bed. Which is just what Kizzy did, first he heard her tap and then she landed on his bed shaking the leaves from her hair. If anyone asked about those he would just say he slept with his window open and they blew in, course he’d get yelled at because someone dangerous could easily get in but it’d be worth it.

“Hey it’s fine really, I understand and no matter how late it is and although I was sleeping and awoken by my phone I’m always here for you and I wasn’t going to just ignore it and go to sleep. I knew it was you to, because you’re the only one that contacts me this late at night needing me or something. I have you know if it was anyone else, I probably would ignore them though” he said when she hugged him and kissed the side of his moth. “You are the only one allowed to wake me up this late”.</sub>

Kizzy nodded as she stepped away from Eli to take off her hoodie to lay it down on the back of his computer chair and then sat down in it before looking back over at him."I know and i am glad you are so patient with me.Mi and Colin got into another fight again which i have no desire to be home right now where he is still awake at."she told him as she squeezed some the water out of her hair onto her jacket because she was leaning on it.

It never failed her whenever she talked about her brother she'd get mad over again and it was even worse when she thought about all the stupid things he said to her about relationships,what the hell did he know?He was a drunk who could not commit to a tooth pick for the life of him when she atleast was dating someone she loved.She rolled her eyes at her own thoughts once more to focas on Eli again."Whatever drama is drama. I just really wanted to see you and be with you."She said with a smile.

<sub>“I’m always that way with you Kizzy, because I care about you so much and want you to always be able to come to me with any problem you may ever have and I hope you know that. I’m always there for you Kizzy, for any reason you ever need me don’t be afraid to come to me ever okay” Eli looked at her before sighing softly when she began to talk about her brother and the fight that they had just before. He hated having to hear about Kizzy and her fights with her brother, it only made him dislike her drunken brother even more. Eli was one of the people Kizzy always seemed to come to when she needed to get away from the guy and he was okay with that of course since he really loved her. “I can understand why you wanted to be anywhere but home, and I don’t mind you being here” he never did because he never got tired of talking to her.

Yawning a little bit he ran his fingers slowly through his messy hair, it was always a mess and no matter how many times he tried fixing it by running his fingers slowly through the dark brown locks it never seemed to work. So for the most part he really just tended to ignore his hair and let it do what it wants, “I don’t mind being with you at all” he said shaking his head slightly and he didn’t. He was so glad that he finally came clean about his feelings and got together with her, she made him a lot happier and pretty much just saved his life every day.</sub>
