Shy. The boy was shy. Adelaide smirked slightly to herself. She really hadn't ever spent much time around anyone remotely shy, especially when it came to boys. Anyone shy just seemed intimidated by her, especially once she was under the influence. Addie wasn't obnoxious, per say, she was just loud, outgoing, and very talkative. She found no shame in being upfront with people. "We'll have to see if we can change that shyness." She winked at him before taking another sip of her whine. Her nose then scrunched up once more and her eyes darted down to the cup. Just a few more drinks. She would not wuss out on this.
Robbie brought back a bottle of Smirnoff and set it next to her. She gave him a small smile, as if to say thank you. She didn't want to comment, slightly embarrassed at what she considered to be 'weak taste buds.' She lived to impress at parties and would rather not show any signs of weakness. Especially when it came to drinks. For someone so small, Addie was quite confident in her abilities to drink with the best of them. She liked the weaker, fruity drinks because it allowed her to drink more before ending up too tipsy.
But, she didn't tell Robbie any of this. Instead, she downed the rest of her whiskey and smiled somewhat of a proud smile to herself. She reached for the bottle of Smirnoff then, popping the cap and pouring some into her glass. She felt like she was downing drinks faster than usual, but didn't pay it any mind. She was with a cute boy now, and she was certain that she looked good. What more could a girl want?
"Agreed!" Adelaide stated cheerfully. Perhaps a bit too cheerfully. But, she took a large drink of her newest concoction now, finding that she much preferred its taste over that of the whiskey. She wasn't sure if that was good or bad... but, she wasn't concerned, either. Addie believed in acting first and thinking later. "We should dance," The teenager announced, taking another swig of her drink. She could hear the music in the next room over. Even if Robbie was a shy guy, Addie was determined to make him open up. She didn't want to be the loser who was alone all night, so maybe it'd be beneficial for the both of them? They'd see where the night went.
