Jolie dabbed on the final touches of her make up, relieved that Jocey had taken the time to help Ana get dressed this morning, which meant Ana actually had on matching shoes. Jolie had a doctor's appointment, one that would tell her the results of the tests she had done a few weeks prior. She was extremely nervous and jittery, but Ethan had planned on meeting her and Ana at the hospital. She was both grateful and nervous at him being here. He would find out what was wrong with her before even her twin did, which reminded her that she would have to keep Ana busy while the doctor read her the results.

"Ana, come on sweetie. Auntie needs to leave now." Ana came tearing through the house like a crazy child and Jolie couldn't get enough of her. She loved the little girl like she was her own and enjoyed every minute she baby sat her. Jolie grabbed her purse and picked up Ana as she left the house. She buckled Ana into her car seat, kissing the little girl on the forehead before getting into the car and driving to the hospital.

Jolie groaned as she got out of the car. She really didn't want to be at the hospital, but the results could mean life or death, literally. She had been to the doctor for a check up, and he noticed she had an irregular heartbeat, which sent her to several other doctors for tests. Jolie pulled Ana out of the car, leaning against the bumper and waiting for Ethan.

today, ethan was to meet jolie at the hospital. it wasn't exactly his ideal place to meet someone to spend time, but jolie had an appointment, and he wanted to be near her and spend time with her. ethan wasn't sure if he liked her or not, but for some reason he always wanted to talk to her. ethan ran around his house, trying to find the other shoe that went to the one that was currently on his left foot. however, he wasn't having much luck. ethan really needed to clean his house, it was full of jill's toys sprawled out everywhere. however, with work and other things going on, he never fully had time to clean.

after finding his missing shoe, ethan helped jill get dress, and made his way out to his car. it wasn't the nicest car in the world, but it got them where they needed to go. ethan was glad that jill was a good kid, and she never made much trouble. it really helped him out, more than a new car would help it. it hadn't been the easiest for ethan. his girlfriend dumped him, and he was raising a kid that wasn't even his. but he wouldn't trade jill for the world. and working as a single parent was not easy, but he was doing it. someday he hoped to be able to go to college, hopefully when jill started school.

pulling into the parking lot, ethan got out, getting jill from the back seat. he had no idea exactly what jolie was doing here, he just hoped that everything was well. looking around, ethan spotted jolie and smiled, picking jill up, and walked over. "hey!" he said with a slight smile on his face.

Jolie lighted up when she spotted Ethan and Jill. She had no idea what she was supposed to feel over Ethan, but whatever it was seemed to upset her twin, Jocey. Which confused her more than anything in the world. She shook the thought away, setting Ana down on the ground so she could hug Ethan's legs. "Ana, don't you run out into the street!" She called, knowing that's where the toddler was headed. Ana pouted and walked back to her side but hugged her leg anyways.

"Hey Ethan." She blushed lightly, smiling at him. Jolie glanced to her phone screen catching the time. Her appointment was in fifteen minutes, just enough time for them to get inside and sign in. This really wasn't her ideal way to spend time with a boy, but he seemed to not mind. "This appointment is about my heart and you aren't allowed to tell anyone or I will never talk to you again. She didn't want to be that seirous but she had to be, Jocey could not find out about this, at all. But, it's really nice to see you and i am actually kind of glad you're here. She blushed and looked down, before realizing they needed to walk inside already. She started walking, looking over her shoulder to make sure Ethan was following as she picked up Ana.

ethan looked down at jill, his little girl with blonde curly hair and blue eyes. for not being his birth child, she could surely pass as being his child. ethan adopted jill two years ago, when his girlfriend was leaving him, saying that she didn't want to take care of jill anymore. ethan gladly took her in. jill was a good kid, but she had a spunky side just like most kids her age. jill followed ana when she began making her way to the road, but quickly came back when jolie yelled out at her. "you beat me to it," ethan said, letting out a sigh of relief. he really didn't want to be chasing jill into the road.

"your heart? what is going on with your heart?" he asked jolie, blinking slightly. when jolie said she had an appointment, she originally told him that it was just a check up, but it was probably a cover up because her sister was around when she told him. now ethan was a bit worried, because he really didn't want to lose jolie. he had just met her, but already he was growing quite fond of her. "i'm glad i am here, too" he said, before picking jill up again. this was the first time ethan was at the hospital here, since he had just moved here and nothing bad had happened with him or jill.

Jolie laughed softly, ”Ana has a big thing for crossing the road and talking to strangers, neither Jocey nor I know how to fix it yet, besides constantly watching her and reprimanding her.” Jolie shook her head, kissing the top of the brown haired child. ”Sometimes, Ana is as much my life as she is Jocey’s. I have no idea what I would do without her or my twin to be honest. “ Jolie sighed softly, turning to Ethan as they entered the hospital, a cold blast of air hitting her in the face.

”I had originally gone to the doctor for a physical, and my heartbeat was irregular, so I was then sent to multiple doctors to find out what was wrong with me. They finally have the results in today, so I will be finding out what is actually wrong with me and the possible treatments for it.” She sighed softly, kissing Ana on the forehead. She was really worried about this appointment, the worst thing to come from it was her having heart disease, which unfortunately was also the highest chance of what she had, the real trick was to figuring out what type of heart disease she had. She shook her head softly, sending a reassuring smile to Ana and entering the doctor’s office.

Jolie smiled softly at the receptionist, putting Ana down to play in the kids area. She signed in her name, her appointment was in roughly ten minutes, granted that they didn’t make her wait a ridiculous amount of time to be seen. She sat down in a chair with full view of the children’s play area so she could watch Ana. Her hands shook lightly from stress and nerves and her blue eyes flicked to Ethan hoping for reassurance.

ethan was lucky that jill didn't have any really bad habits yet. he didn't know what he'd do, since there was mostly only him taking care of the little girl. for two years he had no help, working long nights with no sleep, just to raise jill. however, he had no regrets because jill had become the best thing that had ever happened to him. "well, i think jill will follow her around anywhere, since she's older and jill needs some friends." ethan looked at jill, ruffling her hair a bit. ethan followed jolie into the hospital, holding jill close.

the thought of jolie having heart disease scared him. he didn't want to see her feel bad, or ever be in a bad mood because of it. it had only been a few days since he knew her, but he had grown really fond of her. "it sounds pretty scary," ethan nodded, setting jill down in the play area, but watching her closely. he never knew what kind of people were really at the hospital. thinking for a moment, ethan looked up at the clock that was hanging on the wall. there was about ten minutes until her appointment.

"everything will be fine, i promise." ethan looked at her, putting an arm around her, rubbing her shoulder softly. ethan didn't know if he was doing a good job at comforting her, but he was hoping that he was at least helping a wee bit. ethan looked over at jill, who was now playing with a book that she had found over on a table. it was fine with ethan, as long as the small girl didn't go around hitting people with the book. ethan took his free arm and took jolie's hand. "trust me, i won't let anything bad happen to you."
