This is Jake, Melissas old boyfriend. They went out for almost all through High school, and then came her dreaded senior year. After her change she broke up with him, and left him heart broken. Melissa didn’t want to break up with though, she had to, to get in her college. It was either break up with him, or cheat on him. Melissa didn’t want to be called a whore for sure, and she thought just breaking up would be easier. Melissa tried to do it as easily as possible for herself, and him, but she still spent many nights up and crying in her bed wishing he was still with her.
Jake on the other hand, despised Melissa for a long time afterwards. The two lost contact when he went to football camp, and they haven’t seen each other since. Melissa was heartbroken when she woke up one morning to hear he had flown off to some other state, and she hasn’t heard from him since. Melissa still feels like she loves him, and that in the end will get them back together.
Almost three years later, he is going to show up to rock her world, and he has forgotten his spite towards her. (They haven’t met yet, that will all be done once someone takes him.) Melissa hasn’t forgotten him though, he was her first love, and you never forget your first love.
