This is Jake, Alexia's brother. Well, more than just a brother, actually. Jake is also her caretaker, her sole provider and...her lover. Yes, yes. Incest. Fun for the whole family, no? See, when the Blakewood's parents died six years ago Jake became in control of the 'mentally touched' Alexia. This was a grave mistake on their part.
Growing up there had always been a very co-dependent relationship between the duo. Alexia had always depended on her big brother and was extremely close to him. The relationship continued to develop even more disturbing as Alexia's disease grew worse. She was formally diagnosed with multiple personality disorder at age thirteen, three years before her parent's death, though had displayed symptoms for some years. When Jake heard of his sister's weakness he took it upon himself to force his ailing sister into a sexual relationship. At first it wasn't consensual. He literally raped his sister and then would threaten to murder the family when they were sleeping if she told.
Then it developed into a routine, a ritual if you will, weekly. Then it became whenever he demanded it of her. At sixteen when their parents were tragically killed in a house fire Alexia became her brother's slave. Little did Alexia know that the housefire was caused by her brother. He'd killed their parents to make room for himself as the sole custodian and provider of Alexia. He set the house on fire, though made it out to be an accident, and then "rescued" Alexia.
Alexia's brother actually rescued her from the burning flames. Since he saved her life she felt obligated to stay with him, and continue being whatever he asked her to be. She was his canvas, waiting to be painted into whatever he wanted. To this day he still has a sexual relationship with her as well as an extremely abusive relationship. He beats her, tortures her, rapes her when she won't give him what he wants, and general controls her every waking moment.
Though to anyone else it would seem like a protective brother.
