The day started with him staring outside watching the rain fall against his window. It was a gloomy day, cold, foggy; rain the size of teardrops falling outside. Days like these always depressed him. He didn't know what it was. Maybe because he couldn’t go outside and get some fresh air. Maybe because rain always reminded him of tears. Maybe it was because it was a rainy day that he had found his mom in the bathroom after she over dosed. The last one had to be key. He used to never hate rain as much as he did now. However, putting all three of those contributing factors together it was obvious to why he didn't really like this kind of weather.
He could have gone to help his father with the cars. Usually this was exactly what he would be doing. He was out of school, he had nothing to do, and he enjoyed spending time with his dad. However, for some reason he just was not in the mood to work on cars today...
So instead he became a bump on the log, went, and sat down at his computer. Immediately his eyes caught the name Natalie and a wide grin spread out across his face. Natalia Garcia was one of his best friends. She really was one of his only friends if he was being honest with himself. He counted his lucky stars that this young girl was in his life. It took a lot for people to get inside his head and be able to get him to talk. And he was thankful she was friendly enough to talk to him and he was thankful he was decent enough to open up and talk to her.
Throughout the whole internet conversation, a grin was on the young man's face. He really enjoyed talking to her. She was so beautiful, sweet, perfect just the way she was. He would not admit it to anyone but he had a crush on her. He had, had the crush on her since the moment he met her. His dad was really the only one that knew about it and that was because Ian had a hard time hiding his feelings around her. He always had a smile on his face and his face was often red. He was just lucky that she was clueless. How awkward would that be? If she knew he had a crush on her. He’d assume she would stop talking to him.
When the two decided to hang out he was super excited. He quickly logged off and changed into something more suitable... a plain blue t-shirt, a nicer pair of his blue jeans and when they went outside he had his nicer leather jacket waiting at the door. Now all he had to do was sit and wait for her arrival...

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,padding-left:16px; padding-top:0px; padding-right:0px; padding-bottom:0px; background-image:url(http://i51.tinypic.com/2nbr3oi.jpg) ] it's raining sunshine leave the dark clouds far behind and step outside, the weather's fine - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It had started as just a typical rainy morning. Talia had woke up, made breakfast, and then sat down in the den, pressing keys on the piano mindlessly. She had wanted to go outside, wander around town as she normally did. The carnival was in town and she had yet to go, after all. But, her mother had insisted that she stay inside. For Talia, that hadn't been something that was okay. She lived to be outside; she loved to roam around town and talk to people. But, her mother was insistent that neither Talia nor her brother were leaving the house in the rain. Paranoid as she might be, she didn't want either of her children to end up sick.
Talia's brother had taken it as a chance to go back to sleep. Or, at least, Talia had assumed so since Owen had disappeared to his room since breakfast. Talia, however, found herself remaining in the den. She had her lap top sitting on top of the piano, logged into instant messenger. She didn't pay it much mind, however, instead continuing to tap the piano keys with little enthusiasm. It was only after she heard the soft ding of her laptop, signaling that someone had logged on, that her eyes looked up to the screen once more. Ian White.
A sheepish smile crept to the girl's face as she quickly began an IM conversation with the boy. Ian was her best friend anymore. She adored the boy. Ever since her fallout with Matt, she had been closer to him than ever. He had been her neighbor for years now, and she was forever grateful that he was. It made rainy days like today much easier to deal with. He was always so supportive, and eager to hang out. It really helped to keep her mind off of any drama.
It wasn't long before they had made plans for the day. Talia found herself grinning and bubbly as she shut her laptop. Standing up from the piano, she was quick to run up the stairs and get changed from her pajamas. They were going a number of places, and Talia was just excited that they were getting time to hang out. Though he was her best friend, she had neglected him quite a bit during the time she and Matt had been dating. Now that they were over, she fully intended to make it up to Ian. She missed him.
It only took her about five minutes to change, and then another five to convince her mother that she would be fine going out in the rain. Once she explained that she was just going next door to Ian's house, her mother happily agreed. Her mom had always had a soft spot for Ian, which made Talia forever grateful today. So, less than twenty minutes after the end of their IM conversation, Talia found herself standing on Ian's door step. An umbrella in one hand, and her purse in the other, she extended a hand to knock. A smile was already on her face, clearly displaying her excitement.

Would they really end up doing everything they planned during the chat? Ian was not all that sure that they would even be able to fit in everything but he didn't really mind as long as he was getting this opportunity to hang out with Natalia...
Ian and Natalia had always been slight friends but after her break-up with Matthew, the two have gotten much closer, much to Ian's desire, he loved spending time with her. It was sad that it was because of her break-up and he hated that a part of him was very pleased about her break-up. However, another part of him hated that it had to be because of something so saddening; he knew how much Natalia liked Matthew. Ian would never wish anything bad on Natalia because her happiness at the end of the day, was all that mattered to Ian White. He would honestly do anything to make her happy.
The knock on the door alerted his mind as he quickly stood up and rushed over to answer the door. Doing a quick glance down at himself as he made sure nothing was wrinkled, or on his face before opening the door and rushing her inside because of the rain. A wide grin spread across the young man's face as he saw her standing there.
“Natalia" he breathed out, the grin was not leaving his face. Every time he saw the pretty girl’s face he couldn't help but to smile. She always brought out a great side in him; she literally could make all of his bad thoughts leave with a poof. His thoughts always immediately were focused on her when he was around her. Of course, sometimes that was not always the case, but for the most part, it was. It was not like a legit obsession or anything.
He waited for her to fully get inside the doors, before shutting it behind her. “It’s good to see you." he expressed with delight.
