a field trip - OPEN!

ryder packed up all the things that he would need in the car, and then he buckled the two car seats in the first back row of his ford suv. he put the diaper bag in the passanger seat and then closed the doors to the car. He made his way to the front door of his house, that was originally his fathers before he moved. Ry opened the door, and ran up the stairs to get his daughter first, kaylee. Kaylee was two years old, and she was getting into those horrible two stage lately, and most of the time she was easier to wake out of the two.

he opened the door to his daughters room, which was all dora themed. he walked to her bed, and kneeled beside it, and slowly pushed some strand of her hair, and said" wake up, my little princess. It's time to get up." Soon, kaylee opened her eyes, to reveal her big blue eyes. she rubbed her eyes, and said" is it time to go to the beach yet?" ryder laughed, and said" almost, princess. it's time to get dressed, and then get some food in that tummy. then we can go." she nodded, and said" is brodahh up yet?" kaylee loved her older brother, bently alot. maybe because they were so close in age that it was easier for them to get along.

ryder smiled and said" not yet, but let's go get him up!" the smile went across her face, and said" okay, daddy lets goo!" she got off the bed, and then ran out the door to her brothers room. she stood at the door, waiting impatiently for her dad to open the door for her. Ryder opened the door, letting her inside her brothers room. Kaylee ran to her brother, and shook him, and said" BEN, bently bently, brodahhh, brodahhh. it's time to get up, come on before i splash you with some water, or put the turtle on your face." ryder watched and laughed at his little daughter talking and trying to get her older brother up. soon, bently woke up, and looked at his little sister.

he smiled, and said" kay, no turtles on my face, please little sis." kaylee smiled and said" oh, come on i was looking forward to that." he laughed, and then looked to ryder. ryder smiled, and said" alrighty, kaylee lets go get dressed. Ben, i'll be back for you. so pick out the outfit you want." ryder went to kaylee, and picked her up. he carried her out of his room, and into her own room. He placed her down on the bed, and stripped her of everything. he placed the swimmers on, and then put her little dora bathing suit on.

He went to her dresser, and grabbed a pink dress, and slipped it on her. he smiled, and grabbed her hair and put two little piggie tails in. he looked at her, and said" just like a princess." He picked her up, and then walked to his son's room. He looked at him, and said" okay, thats good enough ben." he watched as his son put on his clothes, and then slipped on his crocks. ever since kaylee, bently had gotten pretty good at doing things on his own, even know he was three years old.

Ryder grabbed his sons hand, and made the way down the stairs. he ran out the door, and then locked it. Ryder opened the door to the car, and placed each of them in thier car seats. he ran around to the drivers seat, and got in. he twisted the key in and turned the car on, and then turned the stick into drive, and went. he headed to dunkins first, ordering himself an iced coffee, and two bags of munchkins for the kiddies. he hand one to bently and one to kaylee. he paid them for the stuff, and headed off down the street to the beach.

soon, he arrived at the parking lot for the beach. he pulled up, and grabbed the ticket for the parking spot. he followed the signs, and the people directing, and parked his car. soon, he got out, and stretched. oh man, he was already tired. a helping hand would of been great...

I JUST CAME HERE TO SAY HELLO.

Kristi blinked as the small, bright screen dimmed from ultra-bright to dark. she knew this meant her phone was dying, but she didn't want to stop texting. She sighed and made her reluctant sacrifice, placing her phone on her nightstand and plugging the charger into the outlet on her phone. An orange light lit up on the top of the phone, indication it was charging. She had nothing else to do now, now that her phone was dying. She could go so many places at the moment but none of them were really as fun without anybody but herself. She sighed and looked at her drawers, smirking as an option came into her mind.

After she had gotten into her bathing suit, a bright yellow bikini, she pulled a loose blouse and shorts over it and slipped into neon green flip flops. It was what she normally wore out when she was going to relax by herself. She went into the bathroom and took a towel and sunblock. She walked downstairs, running her fingers through her long, blonde hair. She shouted up the stairwell that she was going to the beach and walked out the door, getting into her car and turning the key. She had gotten the car for her 16th birthday, which she thought was a tad cliche, but she didn't mind. As long as she could get herself places without having to ask to be taken there.

As she arrived at the beach, she pulled into the parking space she had and turned the key once again. She pulled it out of the ignition and dropped it into her tote bag. She sat back for a few moments and wondered if she would see anybody she recognized. She opened the door and stepped out of the car, looking around. She saw lots of people, most of them in groups of threes and fours. She was alone, which was odd to see at a beach. She began to walk towards the sand, wondering was she was going to do for the next few hours.

Before she got to the sand she saw a familiar face, she just couldn't figure out what his name was. He looked exhausted, and curiosity took over. She made her way over to the guy and smiled warmly, waving slightly. "Hi... Do you need help? You look a little tired..." She said, hoping he would say yes. She honestly didn't want to be at the beach alone, it was lonely and frustrating to be around so many other people that she didn't know.

ryder was just about to lift the trunk door open when he heard a voice say something. he looked back to see a girl standing there. he looked at her, and said" well, i could use some help. i have so much stuff." he let out a sigh, and then ran his hand threw his hair. he looked back at her, and siad" by the way, i'm ryder."

he moved to the passanger side and opened the door. " dadddyyyyyyy!" the little voice screamed. he smiled, and said" yes, my little princess?" she smiled, and said" dadddy, beach beach time beach time." he laughed, and said" yes darling, beach time, just give daddy like ten minutes." he looked at both of them, and then went to the back. he grabbed the two seat little stroller out of the car, and then said" i'm so sorry, i have both of my kiddies. i'm a single father, it gets alittle frustating at times."

he set the stroller up, and then looked at her, and said" oh man, excuse my rudeness, but what is your name? i think i saw you before in class, but i don't really remember too much."

Kristi smiled, nodding. She made her way to the trunk of the car and helped take everything out. "Nice to meet you." She said, her hands full of toys and things to shake his hand. She wondered why he had toys if he was eighteen; maybe he had a little sister? And then the little girl came out of the car. She was adorable, and she set everything down just to watch her and Ryder talk. So Ry was a father, apparently. A father of two. A single father of two.

"That's alright, I love kids. I can help you for the day, if you want. Your daughter is adorable, by the way." She said, pulling one last thing out of the car. When he asked for her name, she gladly smiled and pulled her hair aside. "Kristi." She said, nodding in acceptance. Now she recognized him; the boy from History. She would watch him sometimes when she didn't want to listen to the lesson. He didn't seem like a father of two, much less a single father. She knew what it felt like to be alone.

"What are their names? They're so cute..." She said, her voice getting high pitched at the end. She thought that was the only thing girly about her, her voice would get high when she thought something was cute or pretty.

he smiled and said" nice to meet you, as well, kristi." he looked at her. It must be odd for her to see that he has kids. most of the kids in school thought it was quiet strange when they found out, and saw how he was with them. Ry was a great father, and really good with them. but again, his kids were pretty awesome. He smiled, and said" thank you, and by the way, she knows it. so watch out. she uses those eyes to her advantage." he looked down to his little daughter and smiled. he sure did love her though.

he moved through the back of the car, taking out two bags of things for them, and himself. he had towels, and sunblock, and snacks of course. even know he ends up buying them stuff at the stand always. he smiled, and said" kaylee, and bently. she's two, and he's three." he laughed and then kaylee added" i'm a big girl, don't let them tell you otherwise." ryder laughed and said" oh, yes, kaylee is a big girl this week. she just finished potty training, so she's pretty much a big girl, right?" kaylee looked at him, and said" daddddy! that's my business, not someone elses, duhhh." he smirked, and said" oh, sorry kaylee the princess." he laughed, and said" yeah, welcome to my life."

Kristi smiled and laughed as he explained how she used her eyes to her advantage. "I'm usually the tough one, but I can't resist a baby's-oops, I mean big girls- eyes!" She said, correcting herself in the middle. She grinned and look down at Kaylee and Bentley. They were so cute in their stroller. Kaylee was two, and Bentley was three; they seemed to get along so well, unlike her family. It was total chaos at family night and her little sister, who was three, would rather ask Kristi for something rather than her mom; and that girl wanted a lot.

Kristi laughed as he stated she had just finished potty training, and then as Kaylee protested, she laughed harder. it faded to a grin a few moments later. She kneeled down to Kaylee's height and held up her hand. "Nice one. High five, sista!" She said, giggling. She looked up at Ry with a smile. "You're life is totally awesome, Ry!" She said, standing up again. it was better than hers, at least. She lived with a brother and sister who didn't really know anything other than to annoy her. She got used to it, but it got frustrating sometimes.

ry looked at kristi and smiled. she was good with kids, which was great since well he had two of them. Ryder looked at his children, one to the next, and laughed. Oh, they were a riot sometimes. I mean, bently was more quiet than kaylee though. but, he had his moments. He looked to Kristi, and then smiled a bit.

Kaylee's face light up with a smile, and she high fived kristi's hand, and said" yay!" she threw her hands up and said" dadddddy, beach, beach, beach. water, splash, big waves." ryder looked at her and said" yeah, it has its moments." he looked down at his daughter, and said" okay, kay, calm down." she looked to her dad, and said" what! i am calm. you're just slow." he sighed, and put the two bags in the carriage, and then said" okay, and we're off!" as he started to push the stroller.
