Dylan strolled up to the bar, checking out the local 'talent' on his way. He smiled confident across the bar at one girl before turning towards the barman.
"Bottle of lager" He asked, glancing back towards the girl for a second.
He tapped on the surface of the bar as he waited, wondering how tonight would end. Hopefully, he thought, with a hot young woman accompanying him home. He smiled knowingly to himself, realising this was how every night seemed to end. Friends, and especially family, seemed to believe he would be happier if he got himself a nice girlfriend and settled down. Where was the fun in that though? Why stick to one girl for months or years when you could have a different one every night? He couldn't see the negatives to his casual lifestyle. Nobody was getting hurt..
"Sorry" He spluttered, realising the barman was staring at him. "Miles away". He smiled, handing over a note to pay for his drink.

- - - - - - - - - - sarah had an awful secret. only her two nearest friends knew about it and of course her parents. she was ill. leukemia and she had no idea how long she would live. therefore, her parents allowed her to do things that other parents wouldn't have allowed their 18 year old daughter. but it was only when she was feeling okay. and tonight she was. her best friends, alice and lisa had been allowed to take sarah to a night club, where you could go if you were under 21. sarah loved to dance, so that was why they went there. sarah was a very studious girl, always did her homework and never missed school, unless she was at the hospital because of one of her sudden "attacks". but those were more and more rare now. she had been told that she wouldn't live past her twentieth birthday, so therefore she had to value every waken hour of her life. and so she did. sarah was rarely sad, in fact she was quite the opposite actually. always happy and smiling. the thing she was most happy about was that she had gotten a wig that looked exactly like her own hair and she rarely took it off. but now her, alice and lisa was just about to head inside the night club. sarah needed to forgot her illness for just this night and maybe let go a little. if she could, maybe get a little bit drunk and if she got drunk enough, maybe even hit on a guy. so she realized she had to wear something extraordinary. something to catch their attention. therefore her, alice and lisa had been shopping this afternoon after school and have found just the thing. a short, black cocktaildress with laces at the bottom and a pair of red high heels. alice and lisa held her under her arms as they entered the night club. quickly the found a small table and wondered who should go and see if they was able to buy the alcohol.

Realising that the girl across the bar wasn't interested, Dylan scanned the club for another hottie. Over on the seats he spotted her; a pretty, petite blonde wearing a short dress and 'come get me' heels. She was gorgeous and, in all honesty, her friends weren't too bad either. Might as well have a back up plan if the cute blonde wasn't up for it...
Dylan eyed them up for a moment before making his move Can I get you pretty girls a drink?" he smiled confidently as he walked up to their table. He eyed up the girl again and decided that up close, she was even more beautiful than he had thought. Pale porcelain skin and bright blue eyes, framed delicately with her long blonde hair. "I'm Dylan by the way.."

- - - - - - - - - - sarah noticed the boy, the moment they entered the club and yes she found him attractive, but he also looked like a player, and even though sarah didn't knew much about boys and how they were as persons, she could easily spot a player when saw one. basically because this boy was looking around the club all the time, probably to see if there were any available girls in here. sarah knew all this, so she wasn't surprised when he came over to their table. sarah knew how to flirt, even though she had never had a boyfriend and she decided to go all in. just to disappoint him in the end when he thought he would have her. "you most certainly can... dylan." she winked at him and looked at alice and lisa. they told him what they wanted, but let sarah about the flirting. "i'll have... a bottle of lager." she said, smiling. "i'm sarah.." a smirk crept across her lips. she was in an excellent mood and she didn't felt ill at all. this night should be fun!

Dylan smiled at the girl's confidence, she definately seemed to be up for some fun.
"Pleasure to meet you Sarah" he winked "A lager it is then"
He gave her a smile before heading back to the bar to get the drinks. Sure, it was pricey but buying the three drinks would be worth it if he got Sarah into bed tonight, which he pledged to. He looked back towards the table as he waited for the drinks, wondering what his next move should be. "Cheers" he muttered to the barman, scooping up the drinks and heading back.
"There you go beautiful ladies" He smiled, placing the drinks onto the table. "They do come with one condition though.." he smirked cheekily.

- - - - - - - - - - sarah already enjoyed this evening. alice, lisa and her. it was awesome and dylan... well, yes. dylan was a player. he just looked for someone to sleep with and they were here, but sarah wouldn't and couldn't give in to this. she wasn't that type of girl, at all. the thing was that when you were ill, you would spent a lot of time outside of school, so sarah had never had a boyfriend, but alice and lisa had, so she knew a bit. at least, she knew enough to know that dylan was only interested in sex. when dylan came back with the drinks and placed them on the table, sarah knew there was at least one condition. a kiss or something... she was sure of it. a smirk showed on her face, shaking her head a little. "tell us then.. so we can have our drink." she reached out for her beer, but didn't drink of it yet. she was intrigued by his "one condition" thing.

"Hey no worry pretties" he smiled "I'm not going to scam you into bed with me, just want you to join me on the dancefloor"
He looked at Sarah, waiting for her response. She was simply beautiful. Dylan hated to say that, beautiful was something you used for your girlfriend, he would much rather call a girl 'hot' or 'fit'. This seemed to be an exception though. It was undeniable- Sarah was beautiful. He almost felt bad for trying to get her to come home with him. She looked young, innocent, serene. She looked too good to be messed around by a low life bloke like him who would screw her and leave her. What was he talking about?! He'd come over all gentleman like and full of morals..

- - - - - - - - - - sarah rolled her eyes a little when he said the thing about scamming her into bed. but nevertheless, she smiled, took a big gulp of her beer and stood up and started walking out towards the dancefloor. when he didn't followed her right away, sarah looked at him over her shoulder. "aren't you coming, pretty boy?" she sent him a wink and heard alice and lisa giggle. sarah didn't said anything to them, she just waited for dylan. sarah heard the song and found out it was very familiar and then because she walked back there and grabbed his wrist and pulled him out on the dancefloor. when she wanted to dance, she wanted to dance right away and this song was perfect. when they were out on the dancefloor, she stood close to him and started moving around, swinging her, long blonde hair around.

Before Dylan had chance to answer her question, she had dragged him out onto the dancefloor. Sarah was keen! He admired her moves, watching her swish her blonde locks in awe whilst continuing to dance close to her. He didn't really know what to say, unusually, so he just danced for a while, letting their bodies stay close without getting touchy feely over her.
"So Sarah" he began, talking loudly into her ear above the noise of the music. "Are you out celebrating tonight or is this a regular thing?". What he really wanted to know was had she had her eighteenth birthday yet, but wasn't intending on coming straight out with it. She may be hot but she sure looked young, and Dylan wasn't keen on getting involved with an underage girl.

- - - - - - - - - - for a short while, she just danced a little and swung her hair back and forth. the music was really good and it made her forget about her illness. plus it made her feel great and forgot about the fact that she could die any minute, luckily she was in a good period right now and nothing seemed like she would die right now. but she knew for a fact that she wouldn't be older than twenty. alice and lisa knew that - they were pretty much the only ones except for her parents and the rest of her small family. of course it wasn't fun to know that you would die in such a young age, but nights like these made her forget. and her parents were overbearing, they wanted her to live as much as possible, which was why they had allowed her to drink even though she was three years too young to do so. they had provided her with a fake id, but she hadn't used it yet - dylan had brought them the alcoholic beverages they needed for now. but to be honest, sarah had a hard time imaging he was in fact 21. he could be, but she guessed he was only about 19 or maybe 20. nevertheless, she enjoyed the attention he gave her. then he started talking while the music was on, and dylan came all close to her ear. for some it could and may look like he was kissing her, but he was just asking her things. important things to him apparently. sarah knew exactly why he was asking. maybe she was young, but she wasn't stupid at all. sarah moved closer to him, standing on her toes, resting her hand on his shoulder and talked loudly back; "i guess you can call this a celebration.. i won't tell you for what. but it's not my birthday." she said and decided not to tell him. she didn't knew the boy at all, and if she told him he could start spreading it so by tomorrow everyone in the town would know, and that was the last thing sarah wanted. she really tried to live her life as normal as possible and it had been hard enough to tell this to alice and lisa. they had been sad, but never gave up on sarah. sarah then smiled at him and drove a hand through his hair, before leaning closer to his body while doing the dance a little bit sexier.

Dylan nodded at her reply as if this made sense to him. In fact it just mystified him and went no way to answering the question he really wanted to know- was she old enough or would taking her home make him some sick guy who went after young, innocent girls? Well, she was clearly not that young, he thought, neither did she seem particularly innocent. Perhaps he should just quit worrying over her age- she was clearly up for it which would surely justify his actions even if she was a little young for him.
And so with this self-reassurance, Dylan moved in closer, letting their bodies grind with the beat of the music. ”Did anyone ever tell you how hot you are Sarah?” he breathed loudly into her ear after a while of dancing. Despite his earlier soppyness, there was no way he was actually going to come out and call her ‘beautiful’. That felt far too coupley and made Dylan feel distinctly uncomfortable. As if saying the word would capture his freedom and tie him down securely into the adult, boring world of relationships.

- - - - - - - - - - sarah could see the bewildered look on his face, so she sighed a little, but he wasn't able to hear it, because the music was really loud. she closed her eyes for a second, trying to focus on him. then she leaned in and pulled his face all close to hers; "don't worry, stud. i'm old enough. not to drink legally. but i'm old enough for you." she said and purred a little in his ear, before pulling away and smiled at him. she started grinding up against him, actually liking this a lot. then she heard him say something, loudly again and that made sarah smile. even though she would have preferred being called "beautiful", but "hot was okay. sarah smiled, leaned in and ran a hand down his cheek, rubbing it a little bit, before standing on her toes, looking around biting her lower lip, before she kissed his lips. very quickly and then she pulled away and blushed a little bit. this was not how she normally was, but the beer she had made things happen, plus she felt confident and not ill at all.

Dylan smiled broadly and let out a little laugh. Old enough for you. She may look innocent but this girl was turning out to be a bit of a minx. Dylan loved that mix of angelic and naughty in a girl. Plus she was absolutely drop dead gorgeous. That was a definite plus. And Dylan was thinking all of this without being off his face on alcohol, meaning that in the morning she would be just as perfect as he thought she was tonight. Dylan was clearly confident that he would be waking up with her the next morning.
His corny lines definitely seemed to have some effect as she leaned in and gently kissed him. Dylan looked at her as she retreated shyly and smiled. She looked almost like she hadn’t meant to do that, like she was surprised by her own confidence. Maybe the beer had had some effect on that. Not wanting to end the kiss there he leaned in again, gently brushing his lips against hers and kissed her once more, letting it linger for longer this time. He pulled her closer, letting their bodies embrace as they kissed.

- - - - - - - - - - sarah could hear alice and lisa still sitting back at the table, wooing and screaming and laughing when sarah leaned in and kissed him. but it was only in the distance, because the music was insanely loud. she sent them a quick glance over her shoulder after she had kissed him, but then ignored them. they could go and dance with some boys too. she was a little bit surprised when he leaned in and kissed her again. but she held her arms around her neck. after a few minutes, she broke the kiss, pulled a little away and coughed. that was one of the side effects of her illness; she easily lost her breath and her doctor had told her that it would go faster when she was kissing. because she could practically dance all night long without having to cough. again she coughed, not looking at him. after a minute or so coughing, she looked at him, pointing towards the bar. she needed some water and she needed to sit down a minute or two. as soon as she was at the bar, she asked for a glass of water and she downed it, shaking her head looking at dylan. "i'm sorry.. kissing too much makes me lose my breath. just temporarily though." she smiled a little and pulled him in again, this time for a small kiss again. nothing too crazy. just to tell him that she still wanted to be with him.

”Hey, are you okay?” Dylan asked, worried as she carried on coughing. That was surely not normal? He wondered whether she should even be out partying with a cough that bad.
He followed her to the bar, frowning as she downed her water. ”Well I knew my kisses were pretty breathtaking but that was a bit excessive.” Dylan teased softly after they had shared another kiss. He looked at her with a mixture of concern and admiration. ”Just sit out for a while babe, no worries.” Dylan ordered another beer and sat with her drinking it. It was all a bit strange really, Dylan had never this sort of situation arise mid-kiss. Still, at least it gave them a chance to talk and get to know each other a bit better.
Get to know each other?. What happened to a good old fashioned one night stand? No strings attached sex with little care of the others persons name, never mind their life story. What was happening to Dylan? Was he getting romantic in his own age?
”So are you still at school Sarah, or college?. He asked. She seemed like a clever girl, the sort who would stay in education rather than drop out. Probably the sort of girl who gets A*s in every subjects and get into a top university. Basically a girl far too good for him. Not that it really mattered if it was just a one night stand he was after. That was all he was after, wasn’t it?
