The local lake had always been a favorite place of Natalia's. It was always such a pretty sight, especially as the sun was setting. It casted a very pretty glow over the water. This was her favorite place to be at sunset; it was a nice place to think and to talk with people. You were always sure to find someone you knew down at the lake. The town wasn't that big to begin with, but it seemed like a lot of people enjoyed being by the lake. This was exactly why Natalia had ventured to the lake after her piano lesson had ended early. She hoped to find someone to talk to.
It seemed like all of her friend had made plans today. Talia didn't want to be a third wheel, so she had opted out of joining them all. Sometimes she just didn't feel like they overly wanted them to join her - like they were just inviting her to be nice. Natalia always seemed to just have that thought in the back of her mind. She had issues feeling accepted by her peers. Yes, she got along with them... but there was a difference between getting along and feeling accepted.
Natalia considered this as she wandered out on to the dock at the lake. She kicked her flip flops off before sliding down on the edge and dangling her feet over it. It was surprisingly quiet around the lake. She assumed that this was because it was dinner time, but she wasn't sure. Save for a boat or two out fishing, she had the lake to herself from what she could see. "Well, this is odd." Talia mumbled. At least she'd have some time to think.
(( my muse for talia has been kinda low lately. so i'm sorry that this is kinda crappy. hope it works! ))
