( w i l d , h o r s e s , I , w a n n a , b e , l i k e , y o u )THROWING CAUTION TO THE WIND, I'LL RUN FREE TOO Fallon Rodriquez walked into her high school, with her sidekick already out and texting on it. This was her normal daily routine, she almost woke up with her phone in her hand. Well most nights she actually did. She would spend most of the night, till she passed out that was, talking to Dominic. Dominic Baker was the man she loved more then anything, there was a couple of things keeping them from being apart though: One. He was married. Two. He was a lot older then her. Three. He was her Humanities teacher. and Four. (and probably the worst one) He was her best friend's father.
As she walked down the hallway toward her locker, you could hear the light click of her high heels. Her leather backpack thrown over her shoulder with her books in it. She had dressed up a little today, because unknown to anybody else, beside Dominic and herself that was, it was their anniversary. They had been together for a little over a year.
She got to her locker and put in her combination before pulling it open and grabbing her books out. She had class with her two best friends Adelaide and Cheyenne, for most of the day. Dom was Cheyenne's father, and as most girls in the school said "the hottest man alive." She rolled her eyes at that a little. That was one thing she hated about having a secret relationship with Dom, girls hit on him all the time.
She shrugged her thoughts off as she closed her locker and leaned against the wall, waiting for Adelaide and Cheyenne to meet up with her for the beginning of the day.

School Time! was Cheyenne’s first conscious thought. Normally kids dreaded school, but not when they have best friends (the true reason kids go to school). After her daily routine it was time to pick an outfit. She had quite a reputation at school for being the one who dressed to impress. Today she picked; a yellow dress, so beautiful it was worthy of being a bridesmaid dress. Cheyenne smirked at her reflection knowing that she picked an amazing dress, having an actress as your mom really paid off. Even if they practically hated each other, her mother had plenty of money. Vonda, Cheyenne’s mother, was a true diva. She knew she had talent and she flaunted that. Well..I don’t need her! she thought her anger building up. Her mother is part of the reason Cheyenne is a liar.
Suddenly her alarm, that told her she was going to be late, went off snapping Cheyenne back into the present. Cheyenne ran to her car after grabbing all her stuff, including the note from her father. Thinking about him Cheyenne ponder why he was so distant these days. It’s like he was in another world. Of course she was the only one who noticed, her mother was off shooting another movie for her all so wonderful fans, probably never worrying about her family at home.
Cheyenne walked into the halls as if she owned them, just like her mother had taught her, act as if you own the place and people will start believing you do. When Fallon came into sight it took all her strength to not run to her. When Cheyenne was away from her friends, it’s like she was away from her true self. The closer she got to her best friend the more her speed increased. “Fallon!”she called out as soon as she was close enough. ”How was your weekend?” she asked feeling her nerves calming down.

Late. This might as well have been Adelaide James' middle name. It seemed like no matter where it was that she was heading, she was always the last one there. She liked to call it 'fashionably late' or 'making an entrance' but really, it was neither of these. It was her insane desire, no, need to look perfect. Always. Especially for school. School was the one place where Adelaide always felt on top of her game. No, she wasn't the smartest kid, and no, she definitely wasn't a sports star or drama geek. But, she did have two best friends and a nice rein of popularity. And, really, what more did you need at school then your best friends?
This morning, however, Adelaide's tardiness was not due to her profectionism. It was due to the fact that she had been up a good portion of the night unable to sleep. And, when she finally did get to sleep, she woke up a few hours later with the dreaded morning sickness. Gosh, she hated morning sickness. She was very grateful for make up, Pepto Bismo, and Advil this morning. She wasn't sure she'd make it through the day without it.
So, after a round of morning sickness, Adelaide had done up her hair and make up, and got dressed. She wasn't yet showing from her baby, but she knew it wouldn't be long. And, when she did start to show, she wanted to be prepared. So, she had taken to poofy skirts and dresses over the past couple of weeks, adding anything to her wardrobe that would stop people from noticing a bump for as long as possible. Her hip-hugging jeans and tight-fitting dresses had been shoved to the back of her closet for now. She figured that if she started to wear new things before she showed, it would be less suspicious when she did.
So an adorable hot pink skirt and a very simple white tank top were her items of choice today. High as could be high heels and her favorite clutch accompanied her outfit and her hair was left down. Since she was later than usual to school, the good parking spots were taken and she had to park a ways back. She wasn't technically late... but, she was here after the 7:00 normal time. It meant for a short walk.
She climbed out of her car and snatched up her Humanities book and clutch. Locking the car door, the teen twirled her keys around her finger as she walked. Since she was late, she skipped her morning locker trip. She already had her first period book anyhow. What was the point in stopping? Instead, she walked straight to her best friend's locker.
"Fal, Chey, Good morning!" Adelaide beamed at her friends before skimming over their outfits. Cheyenne looked beautiful, as always. And Fallon? Well, she seemed surprisingly dressed up today, too. The girl was thankful for wearing a skirt. "Sorry I'm late. I uh... overslept." She lied quickly. Yes, she felt bad lying to her friends, but she wasn't going to tell them the truth. Not here, not now, and definitely not yet.
(( sorry it's kinda long. i was in a writing mood. xD ))

( w i l d , h o r s e s , I , w a n n a , b e , l i k e , y o u )THROWING CAUTION TO THE WIND, I'LL RUN FREE TOO Fallon smiled down at her Sidekick as she got a text from Demitri. Every morning he would text her as soon as he woke up. He texted and called her more often when his wife was out of town shooting a movie, which was what was going on right now. She knew that Cheyenne hated how her mother always put her acting career before her family. That was the whole reason that Demitri and her's marriage was on the rocks so bad. Not to mention all the rumors in the papers about her "new" Hollywood boyfriend.
I wish I could have waken up with you in my arms. Demitri had sent her this text a few minutes before. She had actually been able to wake up in his arms a couple of weeks ago when Cheyenne had gone out to see her mom on set. She looked across the hall and could see him sitting in his classroom. He looked over at her and smiled that smile that was only meant for her. You always say that. She sent back with and stuck her tongue out at him. He laughed at her and shook his head and went back to do whatever it was that he did before class.
She snapped her phone shut as Cheyenne called out her name. That was something she didn't need, for Cheyenne to find out about her and her father. "Hey Chey. It was great." She said with a huge smile, thinking about the time she had spent with Demitri. "How was yours?" She asked her best friend.
Fallon smiled as Adelaide walked over to them. When she said she over slept, Fallon had a funny feeling that she was lying. She didn't know why she had a feeling she was lying but she did. Fallon shrugged it off as an after thought. "It's fine, Ade. It's not like mornings by my locker are that fun." She said with a small laugh.

Cheyenne looked up just as her father was looking at his mistress, but she didn’t know that. It looked like he was looking at his daughter smiling a smile she never before saw. Well, that was a little more than awkward… she thought truly disturbed. It was a smile full of true love and lust. She looked around trying to find the person he was looking at. When she couldn’t find anyone to blame for her father’s very, very awkward smile Cheyenne looked over at Fall. She was texting, as always. Cheyenne looked down at Fall’s sidekick and saw Fallon snap her phone shut.Ooo a mysterious lover intrigued Cheyenne wanted to find out more. Who ya texting? she asked hoping for some answers.
Fallon answered Chey’s question with Hey Chey. It was great.
[/b] “What’d you do? she asked truly just trying to strike up a conversation. It felt as if the trio was separating, as if they were if keeping something from one another. I’m probably just imagining it she thought not far from the truth. It wasn’t that interesting. she responded with a true look of disgust on her face. In truth her and her mother got in another fight. The last time they were together everyone was eeming to be okay, then like a switch they were on each like cat’s and dog’s. Something about Cheyenne not visiting her often enough. ” Hey now! I like mornings by your locker. she said with a playfulness pain in voice. ”Why are you guys all dressed up? she asked looking over her best friends attire. Addie said she was late , but something felt off, Cheyenne brushed the feeling of uneasiness. Do we have any test’s today? she asked before leaning against one the lockers neighboring Fallon’s.

Addie smiled lightly as her friends at a mini-conversation about mornings by Fallon's locker. The teen always looked forward to seeing her friends in the morning. They'd been meeting by Fallon's locker since the beginning of time. "Me too!" Addie chirped in agreement with Cheyenne. She grinned a little more now, shifting her text book and her clutch to her opposite arm. "Quite frankly, it's one of the better parts of the school day. With the exception of lunch, of course!"
Adelaide giggled slightly at her words, and then glanced down to her outfit. "Dressed up? I didn't really plan to be. I just decided to... update my wardrobe. You like?" They had better. Addie really hoped that they approved because she had about a dozen more skirts similar to this one that she intended to wear now. Might as well start early, right? Otherwise it would be a bit suspicious when she started to show from the baby. She wasn't looking forward to the days when she had to come to school looking like that.
Addie's smiled shifted to a slight frown as she considered this. But, she then caught herself and the smile that had previously graced her face returned. "I don't know about Fal, though. Maybe she's just excited for school?" Addie was, of course, joking. Why would anyone be excited to come to school? The only good thing about it was the fact that she had best friends. Amazing best friends that made school worth coming to.
"Algebra maybe?" Addie stated, or rather questioned. She didn't keep track of tests. Mikayla did and filled her in. But, even then, Addie really didn't study. She believed in winging it as far as school went. Which, was odd, since she had to have a plan for everything else. "Or was that tomorrow? I don't know." The teen shrugged, twisting a strand of hair around her finger. They all seemed slightly distracted this morning. Addie was sure that it was for different reasons, though. She was distracted due to her worries about the baby. She wasn't sure what was on Cheyenne and Fallon's minds. But, she could just be imagining it. It really wouldn't surprise her with the way she'd been feeling lately.

( w i l d , h o r s e s , I , w a n n a , b e , l i k e , y o u )THROWING CAUTION TO THE WIND, I'LL RUN FREE TOO Fallon gave Cheyenne a big smile. "My mom. She keeps bugging me about our family dinner tonight." She said with a roll of her eyes. While it was true that her family was having a family dinner tonight, she still felt bad having to lie to Cheyenne. She wanted to tell her best friends that she was in love. That she thought he was the love of her life. But she figured that they wouldn't understand.
When Cheyenne asked what she had done this weekend she had to scramble to come up with something. She couldn't really tell Cheyenne that she had been with Dom all weekend. With both Cheyenne and Violet being gone that weekend, Fallon had been over there all weekend. "Oh you know me. A good book and a big cup of coffee make my weekend amazing." She said with a small chuckle. "What about you? How was seeing your mom?"
She laughed when both of her friends said they liked mornings by her locker. "Well so do I but it still is kinda boring." She looked at Adelaide's outfit and smiled. "I like it a lot. It's really cute. And I'm all dressed up because I kind of just felt like it. I don't know why, today just felt like a special day. Maybe I'll meet the man of my dreams in class today." She joked. Truth was she had already met the man of her dreams in class, only it had been a little over three years ago in school, and even longer out of school.
"Didn't your dad say we might have a pop quiz today?" She asked looking at Cheyenne. Had he said that in class or had he told her that when he had called last night? She really hoped it wasn't the latter of the two. She shrugged her shoulders at Adelaide's question about Algebra, as her phone went off in her hand, telling her she had a text message. Oh great timing, Dom.
[/color] She thought as she flied open her sidekick and checked his message. I love you. That was all he put and that was enough to make her smile. She replied that she loved him then slid it shut again hoping that neither of the girls had seen how she was texting. Cheyenne smirked; it felt good to be home. Of course it wasn’t really home, but it’s where her best friends, practically sisters where so she decided to pretend. Her home life was a bit on the rocks recently, hopefully a secret she hides well. It was hard to hide the fact that her mother wasn’t her favorite person, but it was easier to hide the fact that she rarely sees her father anymore. It was like they lived on separate planets, even when they were together. She would never tell anyone, but recently she’s been crying herself to sleep. It was just beginning to become too much. Cheyenne desperately wanted to know why her father was so distant, even if it was for a reason she would have trouble forgiving him for. But when your family you forgive each other, and just continue loving one another no matter what’s changed. Even if the secret is life threatening, and even if the secret was life changing.
Lunch, lunch sounded good right now. While she was thinking about lunch, she was able to ignore the fact that Addie had been eating a lot more recently. Enough food to feed two people as a matter fact. Weird.. she thought briefly, truthfully not really thinking too far into it. “Is everyone doing okay, grade wise?” she asked wondering if her friends were having troubles. Addie made it sound like she was having a bit of trouble. “Updated? I like it!” she said stating her true feelings. “It’s cute. Where’d you shop?” she asked thinking maybe she could find something for herself. “Hey you guys! Want to go on a shopping spree with me? I just got my allowance.” Only Fallon, and Adelaide knew that she got a hefty size allowance. Cheyenne didn’t like flaunting the fact that she was basically rich, maybe because her father was a teacher and it made absolutely no sense for him to be married to a movie star.
“Hmm Algebra, What do you think Fall?” she asked majorly distracted thinking about her mother’s and father’s failing relationship. “Oh, yeah the family dinner thing.” she said still distracted. “When are they visiting your grandparent’s?” She looked up momentarily while Fallon was thinking up a lie, of course Cheyenne didn’t know that. Thanks to her family distraction, Cheyenne was trying to hard not to cry to notice anything. “Oh, you know same as always. I watched her work, and we argued. That’s basically it.” Cheyenne didn’t want to go into details about it. “Oooooh, your lover, eh?” she slightly joked. She was still waiting for her ‘man’. Pop quiz? Only I was supposed to know that! she thought insanely jealous. “Uh, yeah we are.” she said trying to cover of the suspicion, and jealousy in her voice. How does she know that? she thought the suspicion growing. Cheyenne just happened to be standing by Fallon when her phone vibrated. ‘I love you’ was all she saw, along with the first letter of the sender a D.

Her friends approved. Addie felt a slight relief inside of her. If Fallon and Cheyenne approved, then what could go wrong? It didn't seem like they expected anything just yet. At Cheyenne's question, Addie grinned. "There's this adorable little boutique they put in downtown! We should go together some time, it might be fun. Plus, I love shopping sprees, Chey!" She honestly didn't know the name of the store. She had been in somewhat of a hurry when she had last stopped there. It had caught her eye on the way back from the doctor's office. And, her family had thought that she spent the day at Cheyenne's house. Ironic, really.
"I'm passing, if that's what you mean." Addie shrugged, the grades really the least of her worries. She was content with a 'C' in a few of her classes. It wasn't like she had ever been a straight-A student. She would be the first to call someone who was a straight-A student a nerd. It really didn't matter how much she loved them, Addie was quick to judge. At the mention of a pop quiz, though, Addie's eyes went wide. "Shoot! When did he mention that?" Slight panic laced her voice, and Addie's eyes looked down to her book. She knew that she needed to pass any quizzes or tests that were to occur in Humanities. She hadn't exactly paid attention at all lately, and her grade was slowly dying because of it. Yes, she was passing, but she knew she could do better. She was almost tempted to open her book and glance over the chapter they were in. Almost. She didn't, however. Instead, she studied her two friends. She knew that she didn't pay attention, but even Mikayla hadn't mentioned a pop quiz in Humanities. How did her friends both know and she didn't? They sat next to each other!
Addie racked her brain for a few seconds, before forcing a slight smile. Why did everything seem off between them today? Fallon was almost attached her cell phone, with some giddy look on her face. Which, was strange. And Chey? Well, she seemed almost furious about something. Addie assumed that it was over her visit with her mother this past weekend, but she wasn't sure. It seemed different than normal.
