  Shiloh rolled into the movies in her old Honda.She found a parking spot right around the front of the theater,parked and strode off into the building.At lunch earlier that day she and a newly found acquaintance had decided to meet up here after her new friends baseball practice was over.Shi had been excited to meet someone new,especially someone so nice to her. As she walked through the large doors of the theater a blast of cool air greeted her.She walked further into the room and looked around,searching for Jayden,while clutching her bag that was slung over her shoulder.She had decided to dress a bit more comfortably,ditching her heels and leather jacket for a pair of cool sneakers and a tank top.Her searching for her friend was interrupted when she saw a giant cardboard cut-out of a cow with a butcher knife.Her eyes widened as she walked towards it.Killer Cow Returns.Shiloh tossed her head back and laughed at its absurdity.She thought Killer clowns from space was stupid.She turned around and smiled at the sight that greeted her.Kids were bouncing in and out of the game room and couples were holding hands as they walked to the movie they wanted to see.She remembered how her friends and she would go to the movies and goof off,In the town she had been born and raised in.It had been hard to say goodbye when she had left,but she had no choice and she still told herself that leaving was the right choice.Shi had only been 15 at the time. Shiloh smiled as a group of young girls giggled by,pointing at a poster of a sappy romance movie.She had never been to interested in romances,had always preferred action and/or comedies.Oh!and horror films were great to,as long as they didn't consist knife wielding cows. Shiloh stood there,contemplating about what movie would be the best to watch,when she saw Jayden step into the wide double doors of the movie complex.Shi snapped out of her deep thinking state and smiled as he approached her. "Hiya,Jayden"she greeted. "I haven't bought any tickets yet,I was waiting for you to arrive first"They still needed to pick out a movie to see first. tagged. after getting home from baseball practice, jayden quickly made his way into the shower. he was to meet shiloh at the movies in a half hour, and he didn't want to go smelling like a dirty gym sock on a summer day. he didn't care who he was with, but the thought of smelling bad horrified jayden. after games the first thing he did was get into the shower. after all, who would want to be around a guy who smelled bad? getting out of the shower, jayden pulled on a pair of jeans and a tee shirt, grabbing his wallet. it was time for him to go meet shiloh at the movies. he had ten minutes until it was time to meet, which was plenty of time to him.
it had been a long time since jayden last went to the movies. he was sure the last time he went was when he had his last girlfriend, which really was a long time ago. jay liked to get to know girls, but he hated losing them, so he kind of backed away once he got close to certain girls. other girls he fell for quickly. grabbing his wallet quickly, jayden got in his car and made his way down to the theatres. he had no idea what they were going to see, but he didn't really care either. jay wasn't picky when it came to movies, unless it was a chick flick. he never understood the sappy nonsense that girls seemed to be into.
pulling into the parking lot, jayden parked his car, getting out and entering the theatre. "hey! and that's fine, i was hoping you wouldn't pick some sappy romance movie," he pretended to gag. comedy was always good to watch with someone, because once the movie was done you could always imitate the funny parts to your friend. horror was cool, but a lot of girls didn't seem to be into it. and he liked action, especially when things were being blown up. he was a guy, and they liked that kind of stuff.
"i'm gonna pay for both of us, right after we figure out what we are going to watch." he smiled. his parents had taught him to be a gentlemen, and to pay for the ladies, so that was exactly what he was going to do.

Shiloh laughed as he pretended to gag at the mere thought of a chick-flick.The action reminded her of her brother,who had the same feelings toward the subject.Shi hadn't heard from her big bro since he left for the air force almost a year ago.Shi felt the warm,fuzzy feeling she gets when she thinks of her brother.She had a lot of good memories with him,and missed him more then she could say. Shi smiled "Alright,but im going to pay for my own candy" Shiloh was touched he had offered to pay,which may or may not be because she had barely enough to pay herself,but didn't want to seem like a mooch.After a minute of looking down the options of movies available,they finally decided on a comedy.Shi loved comedys,and was pleased with the movie they picked.On the way to theater 8,Shi talked about the movie,and then quieted down until they found there seats.on the far left ,right around the middle.Once seated,she decided to make conversation,knowing how long it took for the commercial to end and the movie to start. jayden had never been into chick flicks, ever since his sister tried to force him to watch them when they were younger. she was into the whole romance thing, and he just wasn't. not everything had a happy ending like those movies did. most romance movies always ending with the boy getting the girl, or the girl getting the boy. and that was not the way that real life worked.
as they got their snacks, jayden was thinking about how happy he was with the movie choice. it was a good movie choice, a nice comedy that they could both enjoy. he headed down to room eight with shiloh, and sat down in the seat beside her. he looked around. it seemed like a lot of other people wanted to see the movie, too. there were barely any seats left. "well, i like girls." he laughed. "but i also like cars and stuff, mostly guy stuff. how about you?" he asked, looking over at her.

"Well,I like boys,music,and hanging out with friends." she smiled before adding,in a humorous tone "Long walks on the beach,poetry..."She smiled.She remembered seeing a t-shirt that had read I like long walks on the beach,poetry,and ripping the head off of barbies.She would have said that,but not everyone enjoyed her sometimes odd sense of humor. Shi chewed on a green sour patch kid,and almost choked on it at the sudden sound behind her.She turned around to check it out,to only turn quickly back around. Great,shi thought Arent couples supposed to make out in the BACK of the theater? A devilish grin formed on Shis lips.A sudden thought had popped in shis head,and she had almost stood up to go through with it.Instead she waited for the couple to stop.They didnt.Shi turned to Jayden,held up a finger and said "Ill be right back"Shi stood and walked two seats up.She saw the couple,took a deep breath,and plopped right into the seat next to them.They turned to face her,and Shi looked at the large movie screen. "I love movies"she said "Its actually pretty quiet,besides the movie,of course.You can hear everything that's going on" Shi raised her eyebrows and pursed her lips.She hopped out of the seat and plopped back into her original seat.She turned to Jayden,a innocent look on her face. jayden shook his head slightly at her response. she was such.. a girl. but what she said didn't really surprise him, since most girls tended to be into talking, the beach, and poetry. when he was a little boy, he was forced to hang around a lot of girls at the baby sitters, back when he thought girls had cooties. now he knew that they didn't have cooties, and he was surely quite fond of girls. unless they were fat and ugly, as mean as it sounded. he was picky when it came to girls, and he wouldn't date someone overweight or bad looking.
jayden took a bite of one of his boxes of candy, he had bought five. jayden loved junk food, and whenever he had the chance to eat some candy, he was going to take it. he looked up at shiloh when she went two seats back, to yell at a couple that was making out. jayden hoped she wasn't missing any of the movie, which he hoped to be good. however, he had to let out a small laugh when she went to talk to the couple, even though jayden was guilty of making out at the movies before. he smiled when she sat back down next to him, "good," he said, before popping another piece of chocolate into his mouth. "do you want any?" he asked, pointing to all of his boxes of candy.

"sure!I love snow caps" Shi said,picking up a box of them.She chewed silently as the movie began to play Little over a hour later,Shi and Jayden stepped out of the theater.Shi was still laughing and repeating her favorite parts "the movie was so worth it" she said,tossing two of her empty boxes into the trash.It had been funny, and she had enjoyed laughing alongside Jayden. They walked out of the movies, and she stopped right in front of the parking lot.She didn't know where his car was, so she was going to go ahead and bid farewell. "thanks for the movie" she started "I had a great time, we should hang out again" she did have a good time, it was nice to forget about school, work, and the paranoia that was always there.She wouldn't be so tense if it weren't for her fathers attackers, who have actually paid her a visit a few times in the past.Having a criminal have a grudge against you is not a good feeling, especially if you didn't do anything wrong in the first place. She smiled, thinking how good it would be to not have to worry constantly.She had been living with this paranoia for what felt like a eternity.Even though it had only been about three years.The very thought of being able to go to the movies and having a group of friends,made her feel warm inside.She had always yearned to stay in one place long enough to do those things.Now was her chance. Shi turned her head to look at the cars passing by, and what she saw instead made her freeze in place.Someone was breaking into her car.At first she was frozen in fear, but that quickly turned to anger.She started running to her car without even realizing it ."hey!" she shouted "hey you!" she gained on him, and as the punk turned around she shoved away from her precious car.She couldn't afford to have anything replaced or fixed.The car burglar was very young, maybe 14. "you better scram before I call your mom" Shi growled.The kid tripped he was trying to get away so fast.She watched the kid run out of sight, then she slumped against her car and pushed her hair out of her face. Jayden looked over at Shiloh once the movie was ended, and made his way out to the cars. He had a good night, and he was laughing as she recited her favorite parts. Jayden even added a bit of his favorites to hers, and eventually they were reciting almost the whole movie.
Jayden tossed his trash into the trash can, the whole five boxes of candy and his drink, and nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, we definitely should hang out again soon" Jayden was mostly free all the time, except when he had a baseball game, or he had something planned with his family. Family to him came before almost everything, although baseball was pretty close to that. However, Jayden sometimes had a hard time getting out when something school related came along, because he wasn't the best in school. IN fact, he was horrible in school, though he had to pass to stay on the baseball team. Though, it wasn't like he was playing fairly anyways, with his little secret.
No one knew about his secret so far, that he knew of. If anyone found out it could end up really bad for him, with him getting kicked off of the team, which would kill him. Sports were his life, and the last thing he wanted was for it to be taken away from him. Jayden headed toward his car, before he was interrupted by Shiloh, who seemed to have someone trying to break into her car. Blinking slightly, he shook his head. Young boys were boy, and they tried getting into everything. When he was fourteen, he was a huge trouble maker, although it never resulted in him trying to break into a car.
He looked at her before heading over to her. "Everything alright," he asked. Even though he had been a trouble maker as a kid, he'd be pretty upset if someone tried breaking into his car.
