this might all be creepy to anyone else that didn't know the history of caden and amelia, but to caden this wasn't creepy. he knew exactly where she lived now, it wasn't the same place she used to live when she was a child. but, he found out from through some people. as soon as caden found out, he buying a ticket out here to find her. why did he come two years later? because he found out that truly he still loves amy and not miss i'm perfect and my life is put together.

caden usually hated those girls that seemed to have everything together, and acted perfect. he didn't like it, but some how after amelia left, sara was there. it wasn't love till a year of meeting sara. but still, amy was always there in his mind, and still in his heart. he was standing at the alter when he found out that his heart just wasn't in this. he was standing there staring at sara coming down the aile, and he realized that he wanted amy to be the girl that was walking down the aile. it wasn't pretty telling sara that he didn't want to get married to her. it wasn't that he didn't love her, because he did. but it wasn't enough to get married to her.

so he walked out. he hated saying he was the man that walked out on a wedding, but he was. he had to do what his heart said to do. and his heart said to go after amy. so here he was back at the home town of amy, infront of the house that amy lived at. he stood there standing, nothing was prepaired. he didn't know what to say, but he was ready. he took a breath, and walked up the path to the door.

he knocked on the door, and then stepped back. what if she had someone new? what if she hated him? and didn't want him back? that was something he would just have to face if it came down to that. what would he do though? he would start all over.. here. that was his choices. he couldn't go home. that wasn't an option now. he took a breath in, and then smiled. he was waiting for her to answer the door. what if she wasn't home? that would be just well a killer. but, it was chances that caden was taking.

The decision to return home was rather difficult to make for Amelia but after two years being away her old friends and her family had become even harder then she really deal with anymore.It was also not easy when her daughter started to ask who the pictures in a shoebox were of underneath Amy's bed,it was right at that moment it was time to come clean and tell her family about Lauren Emily's existence and it wasn't like she ever would see Lauren's dad again?

Amy had only been back in town for a few weeks yet with a close friend's help she was able to find a small two bedroom house that she was currently sharing with another female.There was only room enough for the girls belongs and a small bed that Amy shared with her two year old but to her,it was her own space and it made her happy.Word had not really got out that she was home except for two of her closest friends and her roommate and she was totally okay with that.

It was rather hot out when Amy decided to make macaroni and cheese and hotdogs for lunch and it happened to be Lauren's favorite! The little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, smitten image of Amy when she was her age ran up to her mother's side and tugged at her t-shirt."Mommy!Mommy! I want cream! Cream pease!!"She kept repeating over and over while during her cutest puppy dog face and it worked every time.

"Okay your wish is my command little one"Amy said down to her daughter as she walked over to the refrigerator and took out the vanilla icecream and looked over at Lauren,"Baby,do you want sprinkles?"she asked and she received a squeal as her reply,shaking her head she made the bowel of icecream with sprinkles For Lauren.She grabbed the little thing's hand and led her to the small kitchen table,"Eat up."Amy said as she patted on lauren's head and walked out of the kitchen.

There was no one but the two of them home right now and it was Amy's job to clean house.She sighed and turned on the her laptop and went straight to Pandora radio which was playing her favorite band,The Dixie chick,with a bunch of humming she started to straightened up the living room when she heard the front door."Who could that be"she said under breath walked answered it.

There was nothing Amy could do when she saw her ex 'Caden'on her doorstep other then stand there like a complete dumbass."Ca-Ca-Caden.."was the only thing she could get out before she passed out on the floor.

caden was standing there trying to keep himself from looking like a total dumbass, but he heard talking. he knew someone was home. but, who was talking? had he gotten the wrong details? the wrong house? what was going on? he kept playing out what could be going on and how this would go down.

caden hadn't seen amy in two years. this would be so wierd for him and her. what had happened in these two years? what did he miss? what part of her world did he miss? did she fall in love already? did she get married? caden really hoped that she didn't. because she really wanted to be with the one he loved. he sighed, and then the door opened.

there she was...the girl of his dreams. he smiled, and said" amy." then she passed out. " omg, amy, amelia, amelia, are you okay?" he kneeled down to her side, and shook her arm and said" oh god, come on wake up. i don't feel like calling the ambulance today." he looked at her, and placed his hand on her cheeck, and then her forehead. he checked her pulse, and everything. " amelia, your giving me a heartattack." he managed out of his mouth.

When Amy passed out it had caused a thump and it caught the attention of a little girl,she walked out of the kitchen very slowly since she was scared."Mommy...Mommy,wha was dat?"Lauren Emily asked out loud scanning the big living room for her mother and she spotted a strange man by the front door with her mommy. She covered her mouth in such a dramatic way but stepped closer to the area where her mother was. "Whooo are you?"She demanded but very softly because she didnt talk very loudly with her small hands balled into fists but rested on her hips,she was trying very hard to look big and tough.Bravery was a huge trait Lauren had inherited from her mom not to mention she was learning to speak better but her speech was still hard to understand,She stuck out her little foot to poke the back of the man's leg.

In the mean time Amy started to wake up to hearing voices but they were jumbled and slightly fuzzy to her ears as she started to open her eyes slowly.She saw a worried Caden bending over her which was messing with her head,Are you real??"she asked cautioniously sticking her hand up to touch his cheek.

"Mommy!!!"Lauren yelled as she ran to Amy's other side and bent down to wrap her arms around the other girl's neck while she began to sob softly. Amy was extremely confused but she was able to sit up slowly holding her daughter to her chest,patting the toddler's back.It's ok Princess Mommy is alright."She said as she turned her attention to Caden as he still kneeling.

"Please forgive me i'm really confused right now but i guess i can start with hello?"Amy said as she continued to rub daughter's back.There was a million things going through her head right now,wondering why was her ex boyfriend here?She couldn't fathom what was going through his or if he wanted to know why she was holding a little girl yet that was entire another issue.

when caden saw the little girl, his whole world was turned upside down. was there another man? had he been too late to get the girl of his dreams back? he looked to the girl, and said" hey, it's okay. mommy is fine." he didn't know what to say, or what to think. was the baby his? or was she not? it was all so confusing. the little girl looked about two years ago. but she couldn't be? no way possible. the little girl standing infront of him couldn't be his. could it?

he just watched the whole thing. his head was spinning. and he wasn't sure what to say or what to think. this wasn't the way it was supposed to go. this wasn't how he all imagined it to go. he just wanted her back. he wanted to be with the one he loved. that's all. he looked at her, and said" that would be nice..." he didn't know what to ask first. or how to put it. he couldn't wrap his mind around this.

he took a breath and said" you're a mother, amelia? when did this happen? why didn't i know about this?" if he knew, he wouldn't of came? would he? he looked at her and said" where the dad? are you married? are you with someone?" these were things he shouldn't of said infront of the little one, but he had to say it all.

Lauren pulled away softly from her mommy and looked up at her and then stared over at the stranger with a curious look as Amy used her hand to wipe away her little one's tears.Amelia glanced over at Caden and sighed softly listening to him question her which he had every right to do but his questions could not be answered right now in front of their child.She smiled and kissed Lauren Emily on her nose,Okay baby can you go play in our room while me and Mr.Caden talk?"she asked as she sat the litte girl to ground but Lauren made a face and stuck her tongue out at Caden before she ran out of the room.

This was all to surreal for Amy and it was making her head spin."No there isn't someone else but yes she is mine."she stated the obvious to Caden but she could every muscle in her body twitch."Do you mind if we sit down and i can explain it all to you."she added to her last statement as reached over and took his hand,not really thinking right this minute and led him over to a dull grey couch and took her place on a cushion looking up at him.

he watched this all and looked at her. he nodded, and then followed her in the living room. he sat down next too amy, and said" please tell me that i'm not the father and i didn't know for two years. she's two right?" caden really didn't want to know he was the father and missed that all. even know he was the typical asshole and badass, he really had a sweet side, that truly only amy knew besides his family.

he looked to her, and said" you know if she is mine, i would of been there for you. i would of been there every step. i know we didn't have the best relationship, i know most of the time i was an ass too you, but i loved you, and i still do. i didn't expect this, but i'm sorry if i ever did hurt you in the past." he took a breath and then added" i never meant too. you're still my one and only." he looked away slightly. he really did mean this all, but damn this was alot to take in. she had a kid. they possibly had a kid together.

Amy watched him sit down next to her,his presence was finally sinking in and the the familiar feelings she had for him were starting to flood her heart all over again.The moment she found out she was pregnant she really never thought about how anyone would feel except for the fact she didn't want her parents to know. As she listened to Caden and sighed,"Yes Caden,Lauren is yours..ours and i haven't been with anyone since you."she answered his question realizing she was still holding his hand but it didn't bother her.

She looked into his eyes and said,"I know you would have been Caden but i was terrified when i found out i was pregnant,believe me i wanted to run to you and tell you but we were having so many problems."she was really starting to feel like she was going to cry but she restrained herself and tightened her hand inside of his."She is half yours and i should have told you,she deserves to know her daddy and i have missed you so much."sighing once again in between talking to him,"But i heard from Jarrett that you were engaged to some girl almost a year ago i guess now and it hurt all over again.It made me think you were over me and obviously had moved on.."She said to him and looked away from him pretty much ready to cry.

he looked to her, and then away. he couldn't believe this. he had a daughter he didn't even know of till right now. he felt awful..like some how this was all his fault. he listened to her and sat there. he couldn't look at her. he really couldn't. he loved amelia more than he probably ever loved himself, or more than he loved anyone else that ever came into his life.

he let her talk, and then sighed. he didn't know how to start this, at all. he took a breath and said" i almost was married, amelia. but, as i stood up there waiting for her to come down towards me, i'll admit this right now, i loved her for what she helped me through, but i will never loved her anywhere close to how much i loved you." he took a breath and then added" and amy, i never will love anyone as much as you. you're the one i want to see down that aile walking towards me, you're the one that i want to be with till i'm an old man with a cane, or whatever." he looked at her and said" you could of came to me, messy hair, crying your eyes out and i still would tell you that you are the most beautiful girl i ever layed my eyes on, because you are. you are perfect in every way, for me." he looked at her, and then away and said" i never got over you, not even alittle. you were always right there in my mind, and i always thought " i wish this was amelia with me, not sarah." that sounds so awful too, but its the truth."


he took a breath, and then added" amelia i love you, so much. it's scary how much i love you, and i'm not sure how you feel, and i just hope you feel the same... and that i can be the father i always wanted to be, and that lauren can be the little girl i always wanted."

Amelia had closed her eyes as she listened to Caden talk, everything he had to say mirrored the except same way she felt but still hurt however she knew that part wasn’t his doing, only hers and hers alone. She turned to look over at him again with a few drops of tears that were starting to fall that she failed restrain,”Caden,I am so very sorry I never told you about our daughter,she is the best child you could ever ask for, not to mention she may look like me but she acts so much like you its not even funny.”She said to him but her brain was running wild with all of her thoughts and what she wanted to tell him.

She sighed softly and said,”I have loved you from the very first moment I laid eyes on you,do you remember?It was when I was at the mall with Addie and you rode in your harley and how badly I eye fucked you when you took off your damn helmet…Jesus”the last part made her giggle and with that she leaned over to kiss his cheek and squeezed his hand again. “I never stopped thinking about you and no one ever even added up to you when I tried to get over you with these stupid high school boys I went on dates with because friends made me."She added.Caden was the one guy that pissed her family off especially her father who thought he was nothing but a grease monkey but thing is Amy never cared about what they thought and still don't,At least to an extent.

he smiled and just let her talk. the smile was forming. he didn't lose the one he loved, and that was all he wanted to hear. he listened to her and laughed and then said" i remember that day, oh god. i thought i was legit the best back then." he laughed alittle bit at himself for a minute. man, he really did change.

he leaned in to amelia, and then gently pushed her hair away, and then whispered in her ear" i love you, amelia. i never stopped, and i never will." he then kissed her on the cheek and said" please, amelia, make me the happiest man in the whole world, make me feel like how i did then, please i just want my best friend back, i just want the girl i see my whole life with, please, be my girl again. because damn, i have missed you more than anything. i miss your cute little laugh, and that smile." he kissed her on the side of her lips, and then smiled.

Amy could not help herself but laugh abit more and shook her head while looking at him.”Yeah you thought you were something alright and you were, a bad boy that a lot of people were intimidated by your mere presence including Daddy.”she said as she started think about all the verbal arguments she had with her dad over Caden and the many ugly confrontations he had with Mr.Scott himself. “Caden,do you remember when you and Daddy got into it so badly you put him in the hospital? He was trying to keep me from you but it didn’t stop you,atleast then.[/b]”She asked him as she sighed softly.

She was just happy after everything that they had been through together he still wanted her and had been looking for her,here she was staring into the eyes of the man of her dreams and after listening to everything he had to say it made her smile even more.”I love you Caden and all I wanna do is be yours again but are you sure you are ready to be a dad?Not to mention deal with my wacked ass family and dad?”she asked him with abit of worry in her eyes.

he laughed and said" yeah i know. i was pretty much the bad ass back then. but, i don't think anyone else besides my mom and you has seen my sweet side." he looked at her with that cute little face he made and then sighed, and said" yeah, i remember. i do regret it, alot. i like your mom, and you know of course you. but sometimes, your dad and me bumped heads alot." he sighed, he sort of wished he didnt.

he looked at her and said" yes, amelia. i'm ready. i love you so much. you don't fully get it. i know it won't be easy. it willl be a change. i know how a kid is. remember? my sisters kids did live with me, amy. I know how this goes." he looked at her and then said" and of course. maybe, some day they'll come around to me. i'm not that bad."

She sighed as she said,”I know Dad was a total jerk but he really did mean well in his own way,he just thought he was looking out for his little girl but did little he knew that there wasn’t anything he could have said or done to keep me away from you.Mom knew that and so did the rest of my family.[/b]”while laying her head on his shoulder. Only Amy kept herself away from him and the rest of the world in these past two years but it wasn’t going to change right now as long as he was okay with her in his life.

Amy just listened and looked up at him again,”I’m so glad to hear you say that and hopefully you can show me how much you you love me in time right?”then her lips formed into a teasing grin and kissed his cheek before she stood up and went to check on Lauren.

he smiled and said" i know that, amelia. i would of done the same thing." he looked at her and then smiled. man he loved her. he really did. he felt like he wanted to well pop the question. but caden knew that right now they just needed to settle into a routine, get used to it being them three, and get a new house. this wasn't going to do it. caden had enough money to do what he wanted - curioutsy of his dead beat father. ha, he really was dead now. caden was the only boy out of the family, it was always just him and his sister.

the funny thing is his dad-- had two other kids, and another wife. but half the money went to caden and his sister. apparently, his father won alot of things. like the lottery more than once. he smirked, and then said" of course, babe." he watched her go and get lauren. caden couldn't wait for this. really, he couldn't. he had the girl of his dreams back, and a daughter. he had a family, again.
