TAGGED: Mordecai WORD COUNT:afjkd;klas OUTFIT: outfit COMMENTS:Interesting.
He just lied to me, thought Ajia. Well, she completely understood why. It's his business and really she had not right to ask such a blunt question like that. Her look of understandment that was plastered on her face wasn't because she bought the whole ordeal, but because she understood him, at least to an extent.
Ajia didn't really have a relationship with her parents. It wasn't that she didn't love them, or vice versa, she just never really saw them all that often. It's like they barely even know her. Except for the ocassional vacations to Vegas, there was no such thing as family time. After what happened between her and her parents' friend, their relationship diminished, oddly enough, she's always doing great in school, just trying to make her nonexistent parents proud.

Mordecai noted the shifty look in Aijia's eyes, and hoped he hadn't said anything wrong. Mordecai guessed there couldn't be to much time left in the lunch time so he grabbed his book and stood up. Brushing off the grass on his pant's.
Since he thought standing up in the middle of there conversation would be a little rude he decided to stick out his hand for her. After they were both up they kind of just stood there awkwardly,or at least to Mordecai it was so he stuck his free hand in his pocket. "So what class do you have next?" Once again he was making small talk to seem polite, even though the girl was nice enough, he didn't want to come off a some weird anti-social freak. He also knew she was in a different grade, but some of the senior classes were in the Junior's hallway.

The bell rang signalling the end of lunch. Mordecai stood up and helped Ajia up as well. What a gentleman. Ajia held her books close to her and placed her weight on on side of her body as Mordecai stood placing his hand in his pocket. Awkward.
"So what class do you have next?"
"Uhh," she sighed, "AP Physics." Why she's taking physics, she didn't know the answer. She thought it would be a class she could take to learn about the earth more, you know, Force equals Mass times Acceleration, but then the teacher had to throw in Mass equals Density times Volume then so on and so forth. Ick, what a headache the class was. "How about you?" She asked. They began to walk towards the main building so that neither of them would be late to class. It was time to split ways, but before Ajia said goodbye, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him back, "Hey," she looked up at him, "We should hang out some time." She gave him a small smile.

"Uh I have Calculus " His least favorite class it was the hardest and the most boring one. He only did it so he wouldn't have to take so much of it in college.Aijia walked with Mordecai to the main building. We should hang out sometime
Mordecai didn't know how to respond to that, he knew that she only meant it in a friendly way but still, he wasn't use to talking to anyone let alone girls. " Uh sure I guess" Not really a great answer but still a suiting one. After a few minutes they had to go there separate ways to their classes, Mordecai walked into Calculus and threw done his bag and sat down. He looked at the board for directions then took out his things for class.
