18. That’s how old Cheyenne was turning in a few days. For some reason she couldn’t think about anything else. In a week Cheyenne would be a real adult, but for now she was a teenager with her mommy’s money and she was ready to spend it. It was hot day out, perfect for shopping in the mall. ‘Hey, Fall, you ready yet?’ she asked herself not even ready. In the chat room her and Fallon were chatting in they ended up deciding to get something to eat. Only problem was that Cheyenne needed to some shopping for her party. Apparently her mother had something huge planned, but she was keeping it secret from Chey. What she didn’t know was that Vonda was going to throw a ball. Vonda’s plan was to throw a Masquerade Ball, while throwing her daughters 18th birthday party. It might be a horrible disaster, or it might be fun. Who knows?
So the mall was the best place, for both needs. Fallon didn’t know that they were going to do some shopping along with grabbing a bite to eat, but she didn’t need to because Cheyenne would pay for all the ‘expenses’. Fallon, and her family weren’t poor and for that matter neither where Addie’s family, it was just Cheyenne liked being able to pay for her friends. No one knew but, she was adopted. She might tell someone if they asked, but no one has so she hasn’t bothered with it. She looked enough like her adoptive parents that no one even needed to question it. Not one person ever talked about, not her father or mother. Cheyenne liked it that way. She was adopted in another town so no one knew, and more than likely no one will ever know. Cheyenne came from a bad childhood, one where her biological parents couldn’t even support her, let alone anyone else. She was adopted at age three so it is unsure of how she was put in the orphanage she was found in. Cheyenne now referred to her adoptive family as her real family, almost completely forgetting that she isn’t really related to them. Even Violet didn’t know that Cheyenne was adopted. Her phone buzzed and made Cheyenne snap back to reality.
Time to get ready. she thought wanting to be at the mall before two, It was 1:10. Being near adulthood made Cheyenne feel liberated, and she wanted to wear something that showed that to the world. She wore a pink dress that was styled to look as if someone took a sheet and wrapped it around her and pinned it right above her hip. That someone then took a faked jeweled belt and wrapped it right above her hips. Her nails were done with a French manicure and a black swirl. And her grandmother’s ring was placed on her thumb. One day she would grow into it. ‘Hey Fall, I hope you’re ready, cause I’m on my way.’ She sent before leaving the house. “Bye Violet, Tell Dad that I went to the mall.”
