when the devil wants to dance with you ,YOU BETTER SAY NEVER because a dance with the devil might last you forever - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If there was one thing Hannah despised with every morsel of her being it was going to the Lipton shopping mall. Could it have been the distinctive odor of the greasy nastiness that we American's called food, or the Justin Bieber loving teenyboppers that filled every crevice of this mall on a daily basis? The mall itself wasn't exactly horrible - it had stores that Hannah frequently shopped at but Hannah was looking for something new and exciting. She had lived in Lipton for all of her seventeen years and was yearning for a change - something exciting and new that could spark her interests. Hannah was known as Lipton's "it" girl: someone that all of the guys wanted to date, and the girls wanted to hate. It was an interesting label to have but Hannah loved every minute of it. No one remembered her from the girl she used to be and Hannah was more then glad to keep that chapter of her life buried deep within her. She hated to relive her experience from when she was a nobody, an annoying and chubby girl who had no idea how to tame her frizzy blond hair if her life depended on it. She ate, boy did she eat. If it was one thing she loved was food, using it as a relief whenever she felt nervous. Hannah walked casually to the escalator and took a step up toward the upper level as she continued to relive her past. It wasn't until she hit high school (and lost touch with Camden, her childhood friend) and began her transformation. She lost all of her wait and developed, and boy did she develop. She began to get attention from the boys and from there it only continued. Not one person knew how she lost all of that weight, and she wasn't about to tell. When she was asked she would quickly retort to saying she dieted, but it was a lie. A lie she would keep hidden.
She took a step off of the escalator, her black Ugg boots making a light shuffling sound as she walked throughout the mall, a smile plastered on her face as she received attention from the boys passing her. Situations like that only got Hannah riled up with amusement. She never did anything about it, she just liked the attention. Hannah was so lost in thought that the sudden vibration coming from her pocket frightened her a bit. She glanced down at the screen of her iPhone as she navigated through the mall, weaving through crowds of people without looking up to see where she was going. Hannah was craving coffee and if its one thing she liked about this mall was it's Starbucks.
As soon as Hannah made her way to the entrance of the coffee shop her nose was filled quickly with the light, refreshing aroma of the coffee. Hannah loved the smell of coffee shops almost as much as she loved the smell of freshly make chocolate chip cookies. She walked up toward the barista and nodded, a flirtatious smile gently forming across her lips. She leaned on the counter as her eyes focused on the menu. "Umm..can I have a tall cinnamon dulce latte with no whip?" she decided as she reached into her purse to fish for her wallet but was surprised when she didn't have enough money to front the cost of her drink. "Uhh, nevermind." she said, her face glowing red with embarassment. That was not happening to her! Hannah knew the reason she didn't have enough money to cover the cost and it was her own damn fault. Of course Hannah knew that she shouldnt have spent the last of her money on the new Dolce and Gabbanna purse, but she at least thought her credit card would cover it. Declined. That wasn't happening. Hannah let out a heavy sigh as she scratched her head in embarassment.

I'M GONNA DRIVE TO LA AND YOU SHOULDN'T LOOK BACK, BABY NEVER LOOK BACK. Seb muttered to himself, though he knew quite well he had no place to berate the man for what had happened. Seb had let his thoughts slip. He turned left into the mall parking lot, hoping it wouldn't take too long to find a parking space. The mall was packed, as Seb assumed it would be. It was always brimming with life. Seb was making a quick stop off to grab a coffee and maybe pick up something to take back to his dorm room at college. It didn't take him long to find somewhere to park and he pulled up sharply. Seb was a fairly adaquate driver, but that didn't tend to stop his passengers occasionally being afraid of his driving style. He stepped out the car, shutting the door behind him and locking it as he walked away. He hoped he wasn't going to end up spending too much time in the mall. Places like that grated on his nerves, only because he often ended up buying things he didn't necessarily need. Pocketing his car keys he made his way up to the second floor of the mall, opting to take the stairs instead of the elevator, he scaled them quickly. There was barely a line when he arrived, a fairly young girl just about to be served. He held the door as a woman with a pushchair exited and he let it close behind him as he walked up to stand behind the girl. Seb was momentarily distracted by his iPhone - he ought to reply to his father, maybe tell him he had some important studying to do. Anything to get out of heading into the company tonight. Whilst thinking over an excuse the girl in front appeared to be having some trouble with her card. His gaze pulled up from the phone, and he placed it back into his hoodie pocket and frowned. Reaching into the pocket of his black jeans he produced his card. "Excuse me," Seb said, imagining the girl probably thought he was about to cut infront because she couldn't pay up. "Here you go," he smiled, holding the card out to the cashier. "I'll take this, and I'll also have a skinny grande hazelnut latte with an extra shot, and that's to go," Seb said, and turned to look at the girl. He figured she was probably a student, and money was short. Seb had more money than he really knew what to do with - he didn't buy elaborate, expensive items. He bought little things he didn't really need, but nothing massive. His biggest expense was running his car, which itself had been a goodwill present from his father. WORDS: 698. It was amazing just how quick Hannah's day went from one that was almost perfect to one that was a living hell, all just over a coffee. She had no one to blame for this disaster except for herself; it was her wrong doing that left her short on money. This was exactly the reason why Hannah hated coming to the mall - she always got things that she didn't exactly need. Places like this were filled with wants rather then needs and Hannah was quick to succumb to the things that she really wanted. That was typical Hannah, the lavish spender that (until now) and no worry about the money in her pocket because she always got what she wanted. Always. Until now. Hannah knew why her credit card wouldn't work, she just didn't chose to believe it. Her dad froze her account because of her spending expenditures and it only made Hannah look stupid.
Feeling useless and red with embarrassment, Hannah turned to leave the coffee shop too disappointed to say a word. She watched silently as the older boy stepped forward with his credit card, likely irritated because of how long Hannah was taking to leave. Instead she was surprised as he politely offered up his credit card as a token to buy both of their drinks, something that no guy had ever done for her. She looked up at the older boy, a flirtatious smile crept on her face as she realized that he looked familiar. "Chivalry isn't dead I guess." she started, her hand slowly moving up to wipe the hair from her face. Why did he look so familiar? She continued to study his face, his facial features, everything until he realized who he was.
Sebastian Fox, the boy who was the son of some millionaire business man. She had seen him on People's "30 Millionaires Under 30" or something of the sort. Hannah looked once more, a more puzzled look established on her face as she wondered just why he decided to pay for her drink. Guys like him, rich guys that is, were never exactly the nicest guys in the world. It was a pleasant surprise to see a man with money who was genuinely a nice guy. Hannah leaned forward on the counter as she flashed yet another stunning smile. If it was one thing Hannah was good at was the art of flirting. She was the self-proclaimed pro when it came to getting attention from the boys - it probably stemmed from her always getting her way at any cost.
"Thanks." Hannah was embarrassed that she had to meet Seb when she was struggling financially. Nothing was worse then meeting a man with money when she didn't have any, sort of like Prince Darcy and Elizabeth in Pride & Prejudice, a book that Hannah was in love with. Sometimes she compared herself to Mrs. Bennett because she did things for social gain rather then being socially accepted for who she was. She smiled as she observed the male. He was handsome, definitely someone who drew attention from the ladies and he had an attractive, genuine smile. Something told Hannah he was a nice, honest guy who just seemed to be a 'model citizen'. "How much am I going to owe you?" she asked, turning her head for a moment to watch the irritated barista before looking back at the boy. "I'm Hannah by the way."

I'M GONNA DRIVE TO LA AND YOU SHOULDN'T LOOK BACK, BABY NEVER LOOK BACK. outside the walls of the company. He looked over at the girl and gave her a smile when she commented that chivarly wasn't dead. It wasn't quite a chivalrous act as it was just Seb doing something nice for someone else. He was well aware that people with money started to live in their own special little bubble where the world moved seperately from themselves. Seb met a lot of people like that, at all kind of strange social functions he'd rather bludgeon himself to death than attend. They were young, not much older than Seb, some born into money like he was. They alienated themselves, lived in a world entirely fabricated in their own mind, where they were superior because nobody else existed or was worthy of attention. Seb found it a pale, sad imitation of real life. They didn't live in reality, they weren't grounded. Money changed people and made them painfully unbearable sometimes. Seb never hoped to become like that. He didn't want to only hang around with people with the kind of social standing as himself. Those people tended to innately be wired to show off to one another. It wasn't the kind of life Seb enjoyed. Seb, of course, had little idea that Hannah recognised him. He didn't expect to be recognised - of course he knew he'd been featured in People magazine a while ago, but he wasn't counting on anyone knowing him in real life. "I don't know," Seb said, as he watched the barista making their coffees for the both of them. He turned to look back at her with a smile. She was cute, it had to be said. Seb had a bad reputation for girls - although he seemed like a nice guy, and overall Seb was trying to be a good person, it hadn't stopped the last two girls he'd dated being cheated on by him. That was Seb's issue though, nothing to do with the perfectly nice girls he'd met. "Maybe..." Seb paused, eyeing the girl and smiling. "What do you want to owe me?" he asked. "I'm Sebastian, but... God, I hate it. Call me Seb," he said, pocketing the card and picking up his coffee. He did quite dislike his full name, it just sounded old fashioned and long-winded. Perhaps Seb's most expensive purchase could be changing his name, he thought. WORDS: 569. LYRIC CREDITS: sal paradise by futures.[/ul]

A melancholic tune hummed softly through the muffled speakers throughout the small coffee shop as Hannah continued to study the boy, an alluring stare accompanying her. Seb gave off your "typical" boy vibe, someone who didn't seem fazed by societies demands, especially since he was a member of Lipton's most wealthy family. Hannah guessed it was probably a big trap to stay out of, especially since she knew first hand how easily society can influence a person. In some ways Hannah was almost jealous of Sebastian , and not because of the amount of money he had compared to her. It had to be his ability to be kind-hearted rather then the snobby arrogant guys she had previously encountered. It seemed interesting how people with wealth only interacted with those who shared wealth, especially since they always tried to "one up" each other. What was worse was that those were the type of people Hannah made fun off - she didn't realize she was one of those types of people.
Sebastian was perhaps one of the most attractive guys that Lipton had to offer, and Hannah knew that it would be quite the challenge if she could try to get him interested in her. Why wouldn't he? She was confident, attractive and successful...or at least that was the show she put on. She didn't look at it like she was a liar, rather just a part of her that made her who she was. It didn't matter that she put on a facade so that the popular girls would like her because she did it successfully. If Hannah could pretend to be someone she wasn't well enough to full those idiots, then she could possibly pull one over Lipton's richest kid.
Her attention shift to the barista as he placed both of the drinks on the counter, walking off slowly to help another customer. Hannah paused, not wanting to be the first one to grab her drink because she didn't want to see too eager to get her drink, as it might of given him the impression that she was in a hurry. It had to be said that she was thankful that he had saved her from further embarrassment because he could have easily ignored her and let her deal with the consequences of her poor money management. "Well, what do you want?" she joked. Hannah brushed his arm quickly as she spoke, feeling only a hint of the muscle from his shirt as she continued, "Seb it is, although I have to admit Sebastian is cute too." Hannah giggled as she touched him yet again, this time in a more flirtatious way. "I'm Hannah." she added, her hand extending to shake his.

I'M GONNA DRIVE TO LA AND YOU SHOULDN'T LOOK BACK, BABY NEVER LOOK BACK. Seb replied, and he took her hand when she held it out to him and smiled at her. He figured he could spare some time to sit with the girl and chat, maybe. His eyes flickered down as she pressed her hand against him, in something of a suggestive manner. Seb looked up at her again and tried to gadge her age, he figured she couldn't be too much younger than he was. Surely not. He resisted the urge to make a comment when she told him Sebastian was a cute name, simply because he knew very well it wasn't a cute name at all. He decided not to correct her about this those, preferring to rather ignore the comment, save for a small smile to show he had at least acknowledged it. "Do you go the college here?" Seb asked. This would act as a good enough indicator to her age, he figured. He certainly didn't want to be seen openly flirting with someone quite young. Seb had to draw a line somewhere, and it was especially embarrassing given his social status. Holding the warm coffee in his left hand, Seb glanced down, realising he was still holding Hannah's hand. He let it go slowly and waited for her reply, ignoring his phone as it made a loud noise indicating he had yet another text. He didn't have to be psychic to know who it would be from. If he didn't reply to this text his father would start ringing him as well, and it might erupt into an argument in public. Certainly not something Seb wanted, not in front of the girl at least. His eyes trailed across to a table and then back to Hannah. "How about we sit down, Hannah?" he asked. WORDS: 533. LYRIC CREDITS: sal paradise by futures.[/ul]

The constant buzzing sound that came out of Seb's cell phone had made Hannah quite curious. Was that Seb's girlfriend calling to check up on him? Hannah figured it almost had to be a girlfriend, because after all, a guy like him would surely be snatched up by now. She had to admit she was curious to know if he was single, I mean all of the signs were indicating that he was. Seb seemed interested in the conversation with Hannah and he fully engaged himself in it, something that guys seemed to have an issue with. The eye contact probably stemmed from working in a business field his whole life, she figured. Hannah couldnt help but think of her credit situation, and the fact that she had to be bailed out. She had spent the last three years convincing her father she was independent but this wasnt exactly something she could prove. Her dad figured it would be best to freeze her credit cards as if he was trying to convince her to cut back on her rather lavish shopping. Hannah brought the coffee cup toward her closed lips, her eyes noticably checking out Seb as she slowly took a sip of the hot contents inside. "Well, I'll have to get back with you on that one" she giggled.
Hannah was a self-proclaimed pro with the art of getting guys to fall into her 'trap' and unfortunately for Sebastian, he was her next victim. She had dated guys exactly like him - young, attractive, with a pocket book bigger then she could imagine - and almost everytime they ended up being with Hannah. That was what made her Lipton's "it" girl, the fact that she dated people that mattered in this society, not the same old losers that all of the girls ended up dating. The plan was to get him interested in her, who knew, it could get hot and heavy and maybe he would shower her with presents. That wasnt exactly what Hannah had in mind, but it sure as hell wouldnt bother her. "Uhh.." she stammered as she quickly had to think about what she was going to say.
Hannah was only seventeen and a junior in highschool, which wouldnt of been bad if Sebastian was only a tad bit younger. He had to be around twenty and he sure as hell wouldnt of wanted to be caught flirting with a minor. Hannah brushed the hair away from her face as she began to speak. Hannah knew she had to do what she did best, lie. "Yeah, although I have to admit, I still get lost on campus a bit." she lied, her body shifting once more to compliment her thought. Hannah hoped that Sebastian didnt notice the fact that she had lied, especially since that wasnt exactly her best lie. She quickly flashed another smile as he spoke, his voice rather soft and inviting. Without a word she followed his lead and took a seat on the nearest available booth. She set her purse to the side and crossed her hands subconsciously. "So, tell me, is your girlfriend going to be mad if she see's you with me?" she asked with a smirk. It was a lame comment, but it was a true indicator to see if he actually had a girlfriend.

I'M GONNA DRIVE TO LA AND YOU SHOULDN'T LOOK BACK, BABY NEVER LOOK BACK. . That was a big lie, and not something Seb would take likely were he to find out the truth. He smiled at her, pulling his phone from his pocket as he began to text back. He knew it seemed a little rude, but he had no choice. Seb wanted to avoid a phonecall from his father at all costs. The coffee shop was hardly the perfect place for such a dramatic scene to play out, if indeed his dad did phone up and berate Seb for not answering his texts. What could Seb say to get himself out of such a request? He usually just gave in and turned up at the company, but not tonight. Not on one of his very few days off. He quickly send a reply informing his dad he was in a meeting with the radio station and couldn't come. His father would be annoyed but Seb doubted he'd be ringing up or questioning the legitimacy of Seb's excuse. Seb looked up when Hannah asked if his girlfriend would be mad if they were seen together. Seb thought of all his past girlfriends - sure, everyone wrote off Seb as a good guy, but, given the fact he was a guy with little time to devote to someone, his ex girlfriends weren't all on good terms with him. Least of all because he'd cheated on a select number of them. Being young and rich meant a hoard of girls in the same social circle attempting to find a suitable boyfriend to be seen with. It seemed somewhat more acceptable for a guy to date someone of a lower social standing than a girl. Seb wasn't sure why, but it had always struck him as the way. As a result, a lot of his father's friends' daughters disliked Seb. He smiled and slipped the phone back into his pocket. "As long as you promise your boyfriend wouldn't mind," Seb replied. "But no, there's no girlfriend," he informed her, taking a drink from his coffee and looking up at her, waiting to see her reaction to his comment. It was quite plain to see what the intention of such a comment had been. LYRIC CREDITS: sal paradise by futures.[/ul]

The age old adage with lying is that you had to create a bigger lie to cover up a small lie and it just continues to grow until it is too big to continue carrying on. Hannah shuddered at the thought of what would happen if Sebastian and her somehow got close, only for him to find out that she was only a mere seventeen years of age...it would ruin everything she has accomplished to this point. The only way to tell a convincing lie is if she herself believed the lies that spilled from her mouth, and Hannah was starting to believe that everything she said was true. She was falling into the trap of becoming her own victim to her own lies because she believed everything she said was true, i mean she said it didn't she? Hannah looked at him, her green eyes trying to figure Seb out. Was he aware that she was lying and toying with her to see if she'd break? no, no, no. he wouldn't do that. he had no idea what was going on. he's clueless. Hannah you can do this. she thought as she took another sip of her coffee.
She was only seventeen, which in comparison to Sebastian wasn't that deep of a difference, only a mere three years which was minuscule in terms of numbers. Hannah knew better then believe that he would of been okay with her being seventeen, because as small of a difference as three years was, experience played a much bigger role. Sebastian has experienced things that Hannah had yet to try because of his age (and of course money). Hannah looked much older, more mature then most of the girls her age, but in order to woo Seb, she had to be on top of her age. She looked at him once more, her eyes surveying the boy.
After taking another mindless sip of her she watched intently as he pulled his phone out of his pocket, this time texting as Hannah sat motionless, her hands cupped around her coffee. Hannah was almost sure that he was at least a tad bit interested in getting to know her because he offered her to sit down and join him, but she could help but wonder who he was texting, not that it mattered much to her. In a way, she figured Seb to be quite the lady killer. He seemed almost too innocent and sweet for her liking, his phone could have been blowing up from multiple girls who he talked too! Hannah laughed to herself at the thought of him juggling multiple girls and how stupid that sounded. She smirked at him once more, bringing the coffee to her lips. "I don't know, he might mind." she began, toying with him. "But no, I don't have a boyfriend either." she replied. Hannah wasn't sure what to make of her interaction with the guy but she knew it was only going to get interesting. "So, tell me Seb, how does such a charming man like you manage to stay single?"
