Crispin sighed running his fingers through his hair, Audrey Lowe the girl he hated and he was sure she hated him to. Truth is the only thing he hated was the fact he let his self fall madly in love with her. He had been for a while though and he couldn’t change that, he could only hope she never found out, that would only make things awkward for the both of them and he hardly needed that. After another argument on the chat room it left Crispin with his head in his hands, always being so rude to her wasn’t simple but it was the easiest thing for him to do.
He honestly hated the fact that they were always arguing, but what he didn’t get was she normally called him by his name. Her friend Blake never did, and that really annoyed him, he even went as far as admitting his secret. Blake told him that he was hurting Audrey and that really did hurt him to, because he hated that he was hurting her and he knew that he was hurting her.
Sighing deeply he stood heading outside, fresh air always calmed his nerves and he was going to go to the park. It was always really the best place to go in his opinion and he seemed to like it there, it was peaceful there. Staring down at his shoes he took a deep breath, lately things in his life were going askew, his brother was getting married soon. It was to a women he met who was also in a wheel chair, he almost felt sorry for his brother but his brother did stupid things.
One of those things were drinking and driving, he was only eighteen at the time it happened. He was twenty four now, he knew he would never make his brother’s mistakes. Due to the fact he was looking down, he didn’t notice a person walking in till he bumped into her causing him to almost fall. Looking up he muttered, “sorry” but if he knew who the person was he wouldn’t have said a thing.

Audrey curled up in bed, hearing her step-father shout at the TV. He was betting big on the current game and if his team lost, then he would come to Audrey and take his anger out by molesting her, like he always did. Audrey sat on her bed, waiting for a sign that her step-father, David, was getting mad. She had to bite back tears as she heard him shout, his team had lost. At first Audrey was frozen in fear, knowing what was going to happen next, but she shook herself and quickly stood up, walking to the door, but thinking better of it. She could hear his footsteps coming closer to her room, so she quickly ran to her window, clumsily unlocking it. She stepped through it as she heard her bedroom door creek open, and ran through the yard and down the street.
Audreys boots clunked against the sidewalk as she ran through the summer heat. Her bangs moved in front of her eyes, making it hard to see, her bangs also started to tangle with her nose ring, but she didn’t want to waste any time by moving them away. She started to run out of breath, and saw the lake was nearby. There were a lot of trees around the lake, and as she heard a car engine, similar to her step fathers, she panicked and ran towards the trees for coverage. As she turned to go in the direction of the calm water she bumped into someone, staggering backwards. Her bangs positioned themselves back into her eyes and her thoughts were suddenly a jumbled mess. She looked through her bangs and blinked “Just my luck” She muttered under her breath, but feeling calmer as she heard no car engine.
Audrey flipped her bangs out of her face and debated whether she should stay and chat. Crispin and Audrey never got along, ever since first grade they bickered and argued, something Audrey couldn’t stand. She would rather make friends then enemies, but ever since Crispin and Audrey laid eyes on each other that’s all they seemed to be, enemies. She imagined actually becoming friends with him, he was awfully cute to be such a jerk to her. Audrey tried to image being couples with him, but she couldn’t imagine he would even want to small talk with her, let alone actually be her boyfriend. Besides, Audrey had never been in love before, and she didn’t think she was missing out. She would love to see what the fuss was about, but at the current moment she had no idea what it was like to be kissed let alone have a boyfriend. Little did she know about Crispins real feelings of her. . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Outfit: Clicketh here

Crispin didn’t have many problems at home, just an over bearing father that thought to succeed Crispin had to have pretty much no life and study every chance he got. Crispin did do well in school, he just hardly paid attention and sometimes he even wrote his notes on his arm. He didn’t find the need to waste paper on things he already know so if he noticed something in his teacher’s speaking he didn’t understand he would sometimes just write it on his hand. Even though he still did take plenty of notes, it just depended on what was being discussed at the time. His only reason being here at this time was to get some things off of his mind so he would be able to actually think straight for once, his thoughts were starting to frighten him and it was to the point where he knew he was to the point of snapping and telling Audrey the truth or worse.
He was scared he would just go and randomly kiss her, that would be an almost deadly move and he knew that. If she didn’t feel the same way, that would ruin everything between them. It would even ruin the fact at the moment they didn’t get along and he didn’t want that, he really did like the sound of her voice and talking to her even though it was always in a form of an angry, annoyed tome. Her made at him, he actually liked that as weird as it sounds. He didn’t understand why he did but he did, and there wasn’t much he could really do to change that fact but continue to make her mad. The problem with that was he didn’t know how long she could last before she finally just snapped and started to not talk to him at all and he knew he wouldn’t be able to take that, he was in love with her.
Looking at Audrey he was all ready to insult her, in till he noticed something wasn’t right. She looked like she had been running and the look on her face, it was almost a look of fear. Concern washed over him, he couldn’t help it. Even if he really did hate her, if she was in trouble he would be sure to help her and he could easily make it out like that now. That wasn’t the case though, no this was out of the hidden love for her. “Audrey is something the matter, I mean I know we don’t get along but if you need to let something out or anything else for that matter. I mean if you can get over the fact we hate each other” he spoke the truth to, he wouldn’t tell anything to anyone if she didn’t want him to. He just wanted to know what was the matter was all.

Audrey looked over her shoulder to make sure her step-fathers old beat down truck wasn’t coming after her, and felt relieved when the only thing she saw was a parked minivan. She turned her attention to Crispin and had the urge to turn in the other direction. Her head hurt and she didn’t want to argue, she just wanted to take a nap. Audrey’s legs felt like lead and her side hurt from running, she was panting slightly. Audrey didn’t always run away from David, usually because she was so frightened she couldn’t move until it was too late. She knew she would have to go back soon, and when she did she wasn’t going to leave her mother’s side. She would make up an excuse; say she didn’t spend enough time with her, something so she wouldn’t be left alone with David. When night came, she didn’t know what she was going to do, her mother worked nights at the hospital, which meant being alone in the same house as her horrid step-father.
When Crispin opened his mouth Audrey expected an insult to come out, and was shocked by the words that came out instead. Sure they had their moments, but he was speaking like he was a close friend, not an enemy. She had no idea what to say, and she stood there with a confused look on her face for a few moments. She finally blinked a few times, shaking of her surprise “Nothing you would understand, mate. The offer is rather nice of you though” she said, her ghost of an accent thickening a little from being tired and afraid. She didn’t want to upset him but she couldn’t tell him about David. She was afraid if he knew this secret then he would tell others, she didn’t exactly trust him since all they did was argue. Curiously she asked "Why are you being nice?"
The urge to tell him why she was running was strong, but she knew better. If he told and the news got around to her mom, she didn’t know what would happen. As sad as it was her mom was madly in love with him, she had no Idea what he was doing to Audrey, and if she found out it would really hurt her. The only people who knew her secret was Audreys step-sister, Cassie, and her best friend, Blake. Cassie hates David as much as Audrey does, but Audrey forced her not to tell. Cassie said she wouldn’t, no matter how much she wants to. Same with Blake.

Crispin sighed a little bit, the words Audrey said didn’t surprise him. Of course she wouldn’t tell him, she obviously didn’t trust him for even a second and why would she trust him for even a minute anyways when he had only been rude to her through the years. Ever since they first met, of course back then he could have easily been called a bully by a lot of people he wasn’t. No Crispin always had a crush on Audrey, ever since he first laid eyes on her and with age he only seemed to like her even more and the thought of that frightened him and maybe that was why he pretended to hate her. It would avoid the need to ever be awkward, and besides her mad at him was better than nothing. He would much rather have that, then have them never to talk again and although at the rate things going that was very possible.
Sighing when she asked why he was being nice he looked down, of course he would wonder that it would be dumb if he didn’t. “You look frightened, almost out of breath even and even though I don’t like you it doesn’t mean that if you need someone to talk to and I’m here I won’t talk. I’m not as much of a jerk as you might think Audrey, unlike some people I actually use your name and I don’t call you something else that’s hurtful” he sighed a gain running his finger through his hair. The oddest thing about Crispin right now is his words really did sound sincere and not sarcastic like they usually would, “I’m telling the truth to, if you do want to talk then you can but I understand if you don’t.
We aren’t friends, and I’m always a total jerk to you. Maybe though just for this time, I can put that aside and hold off on the insults because I really don’t think you need them right now” he tried looking at her face better. “You look downright frightened, and I want to know why” if he had any idea what was going on he would be pissed. His love for her would be very hard to contain, and he would be unable to hide it anymore.

Audrey listened with a confused look on her face; she wasn’t expecting this sudden change in attitude. Audrey always gave people that mad her mad a few chances to make up for it, but the two had been arguing for years, and she thought he would never be nice to her. She had no idea what to make of the somewhat normal chat and decided not to try. Audrey looked down and rubbed the tip of her buckled boot into the ground, taking in his words and turning them over slowly in her head. As he stated how he didn’t call her names she wanted to point out that when they argued he did, but she knew what he was trying to say. Her best friend Blake always greeted him with some insulting nickname, and at least Crispin didn’t walk up to her and say “Hi Asshat” like she knew Blake did.
Blake was really a nice guy, he loved to make friends and hated to make enemies, and she thought of him like a brother. People would ask if they were dating because they were so close but there was nothing between them like that, they were just friends. Audrey thought it would be very odd to go out with someone she considered family, going out with anyone seemed odd to her. She had no idea what it was like to be in a relationship, how it felt to be kissed. Honestly she couldn’t sit still long enough to even look at a guy and think that person was cute. Audrey was very hyper and couldn’t really sit still for anything, and was that person in class who tended to interrupt the teacher, but in a silly random way, not he snobby my-text-message-is-more-important way.
At Cris’s final words she looked down and bit her lip, she would love to explain what was going on, she would love to just run down the street and yell her secret, but she couldn’t. Tears welded in her eyes, oh how she would love to just pour her heart out, but she knew better. She wasn’t being stubborn and not telling Crispin because she didn’t like him, even though he just made it clear he didn’t like her, she wasn’t telling him because she didn’t know how. His words sounded sincere, and she honestly believed he wouldn’t tell anyone to ruin her. The only people that knew of her secret were Blake, because she had known him just as long as she knew Crispin and Cassie because she felt like she needed to know.
“I.....I wish I could say, but it’s not just my secret to tell” Audrey looked up into Crispin’s eyes and gave him a almost pleading look, though she didn’t know what she would be pleading for. She wanted to turn and walk away, but for once her legs and mouth were frozen and she felt anxious. Audrey was waiting for a reply, whether it was him begging for an answer or him just insulting her, she didn’t want to just walk away. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a way you could almost call Crispin bipolar, but that wasn’t the case here at all. The only thing was the fact that he hated the fact that Audrey looked so scared and since he really did care a lot about her he didn’t like that she was that way, he knew in his heart he had to do something about it whether she wasn’t willing to tell or not. He had a feeling she wasn’t why would she when he was always so mean to her but still, even the wicked witch of the west started out as being nice. Elphaba Thropp was her name, and she was even friends with Glinda the good witch. Right now he couldn’t help but be nice to her, since she looked so scared and he didn’t want to upset her. Not now at least, so he saw it to be nice for once and that was just what he was doing.
Crispin didn’t have many friends, he didn’t seem to really see the point in it and Audrey’s friend Blake thought it funny to call Crispin a name and never by his actual name. Not that he cared since he did always insult his best friend but it was always still a little bothersome, since he never did call Audrey by a rude name right off the bat. You really actually had to get him angry enough before he did anything like that, he wasn’t really one for name calling. Actually the only reason he didn’t get along with Blake was he and Audrey were close and strangely that brought out his jealous instinct, the part of him that hated other guys even really talking to her and the fact he was her good friend only made said matter worse.
He nodded a little bit with a sigh. ”I guess that can be a little understandable even though I do want to know Audrey and I swear to you, that I wouldn’t tell anyone. Whether you believe that or not is up to you, I mean since when was I nice to you right. This had been the first time, and whether it’s the last time or not, I’m not sure. Maybe it isn’t, but I just I do wish you’d tell me so I understand what’s going on. I’m not going to insult you, not when I see you like this” he shook his head again. He was only looking for an answer, and a good answer at that to.

Audrey bit her lip and looked down again, she always spoke before she thought, and would talk a lot, but for once she couldn’t get the words out. She swallowed the lump in her throat and squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to cry out were anyone can see, and especially in front of Crispin. “My, my, uh, step dad......” her words were quiet and her chest and throat tightened, why couldn’t she find the right words? She hugged her arms and looked around to see if anyone else was around, there wasn’t. She tried to take deep breaths but they did nothing to get rid of the tightness.
Only two people knew her secret, it was pretty easy telling Cassie because the two were so close. Cassie was like her blood sister, and Audrey was thankful to have her in her life, even if she absolutely hated her father. Cassie also dislikes him, and they can talk to each other about their problems. It was nice to blow off some steam, and Cassie never judged Audrey for her being mad or upset. Blake also knew, since they had been best friends since first grade. He also disliked Audreys step father for what he did, but was willing to not tell anyone for the sake of Audrey. Audrey believed that her family would fall apart again if her mother knew what her husband was doing to Audrey. Audrey had already lost her real dad in a car accident a long time ago, and she had seen the somber way her mother went about. She could picture it all too clearly happening again.
Audrey thought of how happy her mother was, how she would get up and greet Audrey with a smile, and how her mother’s chestnut colored hair was always messy, making her look ten years younger. She thought of how easily that could be ruined, but quickly stopped the thought. She had spent many nights crying over her situation, and was brutally aware of how useless crying was. It only showed weakness, and she didn’t need to seem more week then she already may seem. Audrey looked down at her boots, but she felt more confident pushing her tears and feelings back. “My Step Father molests me, and I was running from him” Audrey said the words as normal as if she was accepting a cup of coffee. It only took about a second for Audrey to feel panicked what did I just say? She thought to herself, she couldn’t believe she had actually said that, how did it come to this? Audrey shut her mouth tight so she wouldn’t whimper at her own stupidity, she had just told the one person that hates her guts her biggest secret. Audrey could already imagine the teasing at school. She turned on her heels and began to walk in the other direction.
Where she was going, she didn’t know. She wasn’t going to go home that’s for sure, she just didn’t want to be near Crispin. How embarrassing she thought to herself, he was going to think she was a fool, she knew it. Audrey leaned against a tree, not bothering to see how far she had actually walked from Crispin. She was still near the lake, so not far. She just didn’t want to be picked on at the moment, and maybe he wouldn’t do that, but she didn’t know better at the moment. At the moment she just wanted to disappear, or perhaps has Cassie comfort her. Cassie was such a sweet girl, she could make anyone feel good. Audrey felt shaky but she didn’t want to sit, and instead let the bark of the tree she was leaning on cut into her back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crispin was sort of the same way, when it came to speaking before he thought off what to say and that was normally the way he always ended up getting his self into trouble. It surprised him that right now, listening to Audrey speak it seemed like she didn’t know what to say. It surprised him; Audrey the girl who was always talking actually didn’t know what to say. “Audrey what about your step dad” she didn’t finish and that really confused him and made him wonders what her step dad could be doing. He knew it couldn’t be good if she was so scared, was she scared of him he seemed to wonder and if she was for what reason? For now he only seemed to fear the worse, something was happening to Audrey, his Audrey. Okay she wasn’t actually his but in his head he liked to believe she was and if he did ever tell her that he loved her he also hoped that maybe someday they could be friends, and maybe even more then friends.
He highly doubted that though, since why would she ever want to be friends with him after he’s always been so cruel to her. He sighed a little but to his self pushing that thought far from his mind, why should he bother even worrying about that kind of stuff at seventeen. He wasn’t one for having girlfriends and people who knew him knew he hasn’t had a girlfriend in over two years now, and the reason for that was he couldn’t find his self dating anyone but Audrey. Yes, he did actually picture dating Audrey, and what he pictured was no more arguing and in a way sometimes he wished it could actually be that way. He did imagine a day where there would no longer be arguing for good, and maybe that day was coming sooner than he expected. Hearing Audrey’s next few words he blinked, and he became almost angry.
How the hell could someone do that to a person he thought to his self, how could anyone molest someone was beyond him and hearing that Audrey was getting molested by her step dad really made him mad. He knew he couldn’t tell anyone though, no matter how much he wished he could go to the police. He knew if he did that it could probably ruin her life and he didn’t want to do that, no when Audrey walked off he followed after her. “Audrey I know how hard that must have been telling me that, but thank you for telling me. Now I understand your situation better, and I know you suffer enough without me always arguing with you and maybe I’ll be a little nicer to you” he said quietly standing in front of her. “You just, you don’t deserve the shit I put you through. To be honest you don’t deserve any of it, you just I don’t know what to say” he looked down at the ground. His words were truthful, not full of sarcasm and lies. He only hoped Audrey was able to take notice to that.

Audrey didn’t look up from the ground, but she knew Crispin was in front of her. She made sure her bangs covered her face, not wanting him to see the tears that threatened to fall out. She didn’t know how long she could hold them back, but was starting to care less. If he made fun of her for crying or being in the situation she was in, so be it, all she cared about at the moment was that if it was possible to spontaneously combust from shame and sorrow, ‘cause she felt that was a possibility at the moment. Audrey tended to trust people a bit too fast, knowing that she should take certain precautions but didn’t care enough to actually try. She went with that blasted gut feeling, and usually it was right, but Audrey was sure that when it was wrong, it was going to screw her up big time.
Crispin sounded almost kind and caring to her, but she had been so used to his bulling she didn’t know what to think of it. She believed that people can change, but did it happen that fast? On night he picks on her and the following day he is sincere? She was confused and wanted to ask a million questions, but she didn’t trust her voice. She cleared her throat in hopes that she may find her voice again, for once she wanted her ghost of an accent, she had so much to say, and it was unusual for a girl so talkative and hyper like Audrey to be completely speechless. She nodded weakly as he thanked her for telling her, she was pretty convinced he wasn’t going to tell anyone. Was he that evil to make her believe he wouldn’t tell then go tell everyone? Audrey couldn’t imagine it, but people were full of surprises. As he spoke his last sentence, she looked up, so confused and shocked she didn’t even notice the tears that she had been trying so hard to hold back as they fell down her cheeks.
“I...I don’t know what to say Crispin. Do....do you mean it? I mean...it, it’s just we never get along...” She tripped over her words and the last few trailed off, but it was the best she could do at the moment. Her voice was quiet, but she was so emotional her accent grew heavier, she almost sounded like her mom. She hoped he didn’t ask her to repeat herself, and noticed he was looking down, and wondered to herself what he could possibly be thinking about. Her own thoughts were a jumbled mess, mixed with thoughts of her father, Crispin, what her future may become if her secret got out, more about Crispin. All of a sudden she had an urge to do something totally out of character, OK maybe not so much, but something she would never even consider doing to Crispin. It’s not that it didn’t seem enjoyable to do to him, she just thought since they were such enemies it would never happen. After just a second of thinking about it, she straightened up, And hugged him.
She expected him to push her away, but Audrey didn’t care. She wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged, like he was her old teddy bear. The embarrassed and worried feeling that was consuming her now was taken over by a peaceful feeling, she missed the days when she could just hug her father and he tell her everything was going to be fine, even if it wasn’t. Now the loving man she had once called father was now being replaced by a drunken bastard. She sighed before saying “That’s one good thing about me Crispin.....you don’t have to say anything to make me feel better” she hugged just a little tighter, not real tighter but more sure than the cautious hug she gave before. He was taller than her, by several inches, and she leaned her head on his chest. She was already forgetting about the reason she had ran here “I’m sorry for calling you an asshat when I do” she murmured, smiling softly to herself. Whenever they were in the same room or chat room she greeted him with asshat, usually after he gives the first insult

Crispin was going out of his character being nice to Audrey, but it was the least he could do with the state that she was in and the look of fear the girl had on her face. He didn’t like that look on her face at all because it made him worry right off the bat, she shouldn’t have any need to be in fear of anything ever. He also hated that she was crying, he hated when people cried it was always a problem for him and when some cried he had no idea what to do. To people he cared about he would wipe the tears away, but to Audrey he didn’t know what to do since they didn’t like each other. Okay she didn’t like him but he really liked her was more like it, but no one had to know about that little detail of their entire situation right. If he was ever willing to tell her the truth he would. Biting his lip he sighed, he never did understand how he let things get end up this way. Them hating each other and her thinking her was a bad person, heck she even called him arrogant which was the farthest from the truth as possible, if anything he was actually almost modest.
His family called him nice and kind, and he was to everyone but Audrey. No to Audrey it was totally a different story, to her he wasn’t the Crispin everyone else knew and in a way he hated that. He didn’t want to always act rude to her, why would he when he loved her so much and wished more than anything to be able to hug her the way her friends would hug her and just have her as a friend even. “I do mean it Audrey, you don’t deserve the shit I give you all the time. You’re a nice girl or least that’s what I heard, since you’ve never been nice to me but still. I don’t think that really matter, and you just I don’t know Audrey. Hearing what your step-father does to you really pissed me off, because you don’t deserve that, you don’t deserve to ever be hurt or upset. What you deserve is to happy, and well I guess I don’t ever hurt you by being so mean to you” Crispin whispered surprised when she hugged him tightly but loving it every second.
Her hug seemed so warm and nice, he couldn’t sense a bit of hate in it and as he returned it he wiped her tears from her face wishing they never had to fall. “I wish you wouldn’t cry” he whispered truthfully, he didn’t want the girl he loved unhappy. “You don’t deserve to be unhappy, I mean not you. Not the girl I fell in love with” Crispin gasped as those last few words escaped his lips, he didn’t mean to say that but it was too late now. He couldn’t change what he said, no matter how much he really wished he could now.

Audrey took comfort in the hug, and was a bit shocked as he hugged her back. She had expected him to push her away or something, and was even more surprised when he wiped away her tears. Only couples and people who love each other do that, not enemies. She wasn’t used to having her tears wiped away; her mother never saw her cry and her stepfather just yelled at her. She usually cried herself to sleep, it’s something she hated, but at least she cried alone. She closed her eyes, and leaned her head on his chest again, anyone who saw them together, without seeing Audrey’s tears, would have thought they were a couple. Hopefully no one would see them; the last thing she wanted was for someone to run around spreading rumors.
She wished she could do this every time she got upset, just hug somebody and have them wipe away her tears, to be in a relationship. This was the first time she ever really wished to, she always believed that there was no point in trying to find somebody to love, especially at this age. A lot of guys were immature at this age, in the sense of dating. Her best girl friends were always talking about how their ex’s cheated on them with other girls, and it made Audrey look forward to a relationship a little less. Now she wanted one, not for lies or arguments, but to be loved. That was impossible for her, she knew. Who would want to go out with a girl like her? She could never imagine herself with anyone, until now.
She would prefer it if didn’t cry either, it made her feel weak. She listened to his quiet voice, sighing at its sound. Her eyes snapped open as he said he loved her, she was shocked speechless. She looked up at him and blinked, he eyes wide and her lips apart. It all made sense, the rule in grade school thing about picking on someone when you really liked them, his arguing with her one day then being semi-nice the next, and his comforting her now, it clicked together in her head. She had this new feeling in her chest, one she never felt before. The feeling was so foreign, so great it made her want to smile. This first word to describe it that came to her mind was love, she had loved him the whole time, and she knew it. They fought and disagreed with each other most of the time, but he was always on his mind, she couldn’t help but notice when he walked into a room. She also found him very attractive.
She had a wild idea in her head, and being Audrey, didn’t think it through before she did it. She stood on her tip toes, wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him. The kiss was cautious at first, but after a moment it became more passionate, a real kiss. She had never been kissed for more than three seconds, and she enjoyed it. She had been to speechless to tell him, but she hopped he figured out her feelings for him through her actions.

Crispin just held Audrey in his arms taking slightly deep breaths to calm his self down, he couldn't say that hearing Audrey speak about her step father and seeing her cry didn't make him mad because it did. It make him really mad seeing her upset and knowing her step father was the cause of this, the cause of his Audrey being unhappy. Audrey didn't deserve it, she deserved happiness always and taking a deep breath he closed his eyes trying to calm his self down. He didn't even know why he was so mad, since it wasn't his problem but he was and he couldn't help it. He loved Audrey and seeing her unhappy, just made his blood boil and hugging Audrey close he sighed a little bit closing his eyes again. He didn't know what to do and a part of him wished he could right to the cops but he knew if he did that Audrey would not be happy with him and he didn't want that, so he would simply just keep his mouth shut.
He knew this wasn’t his fight, but Audrey’s and he best not try and get his self involved. Keeping the fact that he really loved her was never easy, and a few people were able to figure it out but they never told and for that he was grateful. He always knew that it was going to slip out somehow, but never this soon. No never ever this soon, and the thought of that. The very thought of Audrey now knowing the truth made him a lot less tense, normally when she was around he found his self playing with his hands a lot or just arguing with her and that wasn’t him. He never wanted things to go that far, heck he never wanted to become her enemy but that was just how things happened and how it turned out to be. There wasn’t anything he could really do about it and he knew that, but he could at least things different now and he would. He knew he would, and when Audrey kissed him he was surprised.
He never expected that, the girl he always argued with now kissing him. He loved it though and feeling her lips on his, his eyes closed and he just enjoyed it. When they finally pulled away, he smiled running his fingers over his lips. “I think I like your way of showing me your feelings for me than mine” he said quietly.
