Reed sighed and checked his watch. He was on his way to meet his sister Sophia, which he hadn't in a very long time. He loved his sister of course, and he was looking forward to seeing her, but today he was stressed about school and homework, he was failing. Hard.It was hot out and the sun was really beating down on his little black car. He wore a casual suit and tie for the destination place. It was a fancy place, and if Reed was good at anything it was getting himself dressed. No he wasn't gay, but he liked to dress to impress. He flicked on the radio on his car, it was blaring the latest pop song, some high pitched auto-tuned kid who wanted his five minutes in fame. He had heard it many times before,as all the other songs that came up on the channel. He sighed but turned it up.Reed had bad timing and had caught the song at its end (thank goodness.)
He tapped his finger along the steering wheel after a few seconds he came up to a red light and he was behind a lot of cars. Reed sighed and looked back at his watch, he didn't want to be late but it looked he was going to be anyways. "It's just like Sophia to schedule at a rush hour." Reed said it out loud, its not like anyone could hear him. Reed looked over at the car next to him and was met by a dog looking right at him. Reed laughed and looked ahead of him, the light was green but no one was moving. Reed honked his horn, very annoyed now. Finally the cars moved and Reed made his way past the light and took a turn, right into a backed up traffic lane, tires squalled as he tried not to hit the huge Jeep in front of him. Reed leaned forward and rested his head on the wheel, mentally wiping his forehead. "Close call, to close for comfort." Reed looked behind him and looked to the semi empty lane next to his. He switched the tires and eased his way into the lane. He rolled forward and finally after what felt like ever, rolled into the tiny parking lot of the restaurant. Jumping out and locking the door. He flattened the wrinkles in his seats as he made his way to the door, of the restaurant he opened the door and was gladly greeted by the AC. He checked in the with the lady at the counter and then made his way to his reserved table.

Sophia sat at the restaurant were she had agreed to meet her second youngest brother, Reed. Or as she liked to call him Rere. Soph hadn't talked to her brothers in a while, and was trying to catch up all three of them. She had already spoken to Eli in the park, and wanted to hang with Brandon so she could ask a few questions. Sophia smoothed out her silk dress, having picked the short dress because of the heat. She chuckled as she thought of Reed, probably sweating a lake right now. When she had looked outside she saw the traffic, and just knew she was going to get a earful from Reed when he got to the fancy little restaurant. Sophia leaned back in her chair, and took a tiny notebook from her purse. She started to sketch a woman not to far ahead of her out of pure boredom. She had a feeling it may take awhile for Reed to show, so she went ahead and ordered herself a drink. She wanted to have asked for a alcoholic beverage, but Soph was only nineteen and didnt have a fake I.D. like a lot of the kids in Lipton did. Last time she went to Sparkles! she saw what must have been 15 year olds taking shots and drinking bear that they had ordered themselves. The funnest part was that they thought they could handle it, but then nearly passed out on the dance floor. Sophia put away her notepad and checked her carefully applied makeup. She had the the lightest trace of bruises on her cheek and had them covered with foundation, so no questions would be asked. She didn't want to discuss her relationship with Reed, she just wanted to catch up with him. Soph put her tiny mirror down and smiled as she looked up. Reed had finally entered the restaurant, and was making his way to the table. He had cleaned up nice, and Soph stood up to meet him "Hiya Reed" she said as she hugged him. She suddenly felt silly, and let a devious smile escape to her lips. "Come now, baby brother, lets sit" she said dramatically, so peoples heads turned. Soph smiled at Reed and walked over to the table. She noticed a group of girls that were now checking Reed out. Your welcome, she thought as she rolled her eyes to herself. Outfit: Tada

Reed laughed but rolled his eyes at his older sister. College hadn't changed her thankfully, nor had her boyfriend. Reed was going to get him one day, one day soon enough. Reed was glad girls were looking at him now, but he felt they were ridiculing him, which even with good intent in mind, made him feel like a dork. He wasn't even the baby of the family. Reed sighed and looked at his menu and looked up at his sister, "So how have you been sister?", Reed looked at her from over the tiny menu, the print was to small to read, and he wasn't wearing his glasses.
A waiter came by before Sophia could answer for the orders. Reed was glad he had been here enough in the past to be able to know what he wanted. "I'll take a medium sized fillet minion if you could ever be so kind, and some iced non sweet tea." Reed looked over at Soph for her answer. She had a bruise on her arm, no doubt from her abusive boyfriend. Reed sighed once again and locked his fingers together and rested his chin on them.

Sophia had notice him look at her arm, and when she looked down there was a bruise. Darn it, she had tried so hard to make sure none were noticeable. Soph opened her mouth to answer his question but then a waiter popped up. He ordered like he had been there a million times, but yet again in a small town like Lipton there weren't a lot of restaurants, so that was most likely the case. Soph ordered easily as well, she had been eating at the restaurant ever since she was a kid. It was nice because it had a very wide menu. Soph leaned her head on her hand, which was propped up at the elbow on the table. "Everything's fine with me, I have been painting again" she said with a smile. She still had paint on her hands, even though she had time to wash them off before she left for the restaurant, but she liked the paint there. When she had lived with her parents, the same house with her brothers, she would always have paint on her, and she always smelt like it to. She would rush to dinner with paint all over her jeans and face. She stopped not to long ago because she had been distracted by certain things, but slowly she was picking up old habits. "Hows life treating you?" Soph said, messing with the utensils rolled in a napkin close to her. She took out a pen from her purse and doodle on the napkin, waiting for a reply. She didn't draw anything fancy, just some boxes and her name. She folded the napkin into a triangle and flicked it ahead of her, flying past Reeds head. She giggled and leaned he head back on her hand.
