The mall. It was probably one of Addie's all-time favorite places. She felt like she hadn't been here in forever. Which, compared to usual, she really hadn't. She'd spent all of her time at home, with only occasional trips out and about to keep her family from getting too suspicious. Romance movies that she'd already seen about 8 million times? Yeah, those were currently her life. She went to school, came home, and watched her share of them before going to bed and doing it all over again. Over and over again. It was really starting to get ridiculous.
Which, was why Addie was here now. She figured she could pick up some new movies - something that she hadn't spent two weeks watching on repeat. And, maybe she'd check out some clothes, too. She was currently working on revamping her wardrobe. It was more girlie than before, and mainly consisted of skirts. Anything, really, that wouldn't show her baby bump when it formed. That was the last thing that Adelaide wanted.
So, walking with a smoothie in one hand and her purse in the other, Addie made her way down toward the clothing stores in their mall. She felt stupid being at the mall all by herself. But, her sister and Cheyenne were busy... and Fallon? Well, Addie really wasn't sure what was up with her. She hadn't responded to her past two text messages. It was unusual for her friend, but she didn't question it too much. After all, she herself had went through the past two weeks with only selectively responding to texts. She could give Fallon some space.
Addie considered this, taking a sip of her smoothie. She stopped walking long enough to glance at the window display of a nearby store. And, when she turned back around, she spotted a fleeting glance of her best friend. A man, that looked very familiar was walking with her up ahead, only before turning to go the other way. This surprised Addie. She sped up just a bit to give a wave to her friend. "Fal! Fallon!"

The scene in front of her perked Adelaide's interest. That was unmistakably her best friend, but she couldn't quite picture who the man accompanying her was. It obviously wasn't Fallon's father, but, yet, he still seemed somewhat familiar. And, he seemed to have quite a few years on Fallon and herself. Considering that she could only see the back of his head from where she stood, it was impossible to see just who he was. This only seemed to perk her interest all the more.
The man scurried off in another direction and Fallon suddenly turn. Addie stopped walking, letting her friend come to meet her. She didn't seem all that enthused. She almost seemed... distracted. Lately, it seemed like Fallon had been a lot more distracted than usually. So, Addie tried her hardest not to pay it any mind. "Hey, Fal!" She gave a genuine smile, somewhat glad to have company. Even if the situation did seem to be odd.
Her eyes traced the direction that the man had wandered off in, a curious grin on her face. "Who's mister tall, dark, and mysterious you were with?" She giggled slightly, looking back to Fallon. She couldn't help but to ask. The entire situation just seemed... odd. And, something felt like it was a little off.

Boyfriend. Adelaide's mouth opened slightly at these words. Fallon had a boyfriend? A boyfriend, as in she was dating someone? Adelaide wasn't sure what to say. It wasn't so much that Fallon had a boyfriend that she was worried about. No; she was happy for her friend, she really was. But, she was stuck on the fact that Fallon had a boyfriend and didn't tell her. They were best friends. They told each other everything.
Well, almost. Adelaide felt slightly annoyed at herself now, realizing how much of a hypocrite she truly was. She was shocked that Fallon hadn't told her about her new boyfriend, and, yet, here she was keeping a secret way bigger than that from her friend. She was pregnant. She was pretty sure that her secret topped the boyfriend one.
Adelaide tried to compose herself as quickly as possible, though, trying not to look shocked. Her grip tightened slightly on her smoothie, as if all her energy was being funneled into that instead of screaming. She smiled lightly now, deciding to let her excitement for Fallon's new relationship to overcome the annoyance or hurt she was felling for not knowing before now.
"Fal! Tell me everything! I had no idea you had a new boo." Addie giggled once more, hoping to seem just as lighthearted and cheerful as before. "He looks older, yes?" Or just incredibly mature looking for his age, which was unlikely.

Fallon knew that telling Addie, that she had a boyfriend would be a huge shock. Fallon usually told Addie everything. Especially when it came to guys. Addie was the first person she turned to. But when Fallon had started dating Dom, she had pretty much shut down, communication with Addie and Chey. She wanted to tell them. . Addie more then Chey but still. Addie was her best friend. Sure Chey was one too, but Addie was the one person that she told EVERY thing to. And it was killing her not to tell her.
She laughed when Addie said the word "boo." "Umm, well he's older. And a great guy. But we have to hide us. . ." She looked into Addie's eyes and took a deep breath and finally made up her mind. "Addie. . . we need to talk. I've been hiding more than a older boyfriend from you." Fallon said sheepishly. She was going to tell Addie. And tell her everything. The one thing that only Dom knew about. The one thing that had her more terrified then anything. The little secret that was safely hidden under Fallon's loss fitting shirt.

Addie grinned at her friend, listening to her explanation. However, her smile started to fade as her friend stated that they needed to hide their relationship. That really didn't make much sense to Addie. Fallon had never been an overly secretive girl - that was why they worked. Both Fallon and herself were outgoing, manipulative sometimes, and really didn't care what others thought. Addie opened her mouth, a skeptical look on her face, to question why her friend would need to hide her relationship when Fallon started to speak once more.
Meeting Fallon's gaze, Addie abruptly shut down. She took a few seconds, her gaze dropping to her smoothie now. Fallon had been hiding things from her? Addie felt like her friend could see right through her now to know her secret as well. She had to tell her. She had to tell her soon. "I need to talk to you, too, Fal..." She trailed off, her gaze lingering over the other girl before looking on down the corridor. "I need to tell you something before you tell me anything... I haven't been completely honest with you." She took a sharp breath, now looking back to her friend. Any day she would be showing. She needed Fallon on her side. "...promise me you won't freak out before I tell you something? It's... severe." She winced, hating that word. Severe was probably an understatement.
