Date Night? ( Rebecca )

Shawn just got of the morning shift at the music store in the mall, and was looking around in the store just to pass the time before his girl friend got her. Shawn was so happy he could call Rebecca his girl friend, and the fact that they both liked music was even better. Shawn walked over to the guitars, and was looking threw them to find Rebbeca one she could play he figured since she was learning how to play it would be a great gift. Shawn picked a couple out and looked them over trying to find one that would work good with her. Shawn found one and sat it to the side waiting for Rebecca to get to the music store. Shawn didn't know what else to do until his Becca got here, so he sat down and played a little on the guitar.

People started to crowed around him it was a little weird playing in front of people he didn't know, but one day if all went as he planned he would be playing in front of a lot more people then the ones around him in the music store. Shawn played a little longer then finished, and watched at the people walked away he let out a sigh of relief that it was over and walked over to the guitar cases with the guitar in his hand. Shawn didn't know if Becca would want a guitar for her birthday but he figured if she did he would have it all planned out, and could just come in and buy it the day before her birthday so she wouldn't find it at his house. Shawn had heard Becca saying she would like a guitar a couple days ago and the one she was playing should be one to learn on it should be on a stand just to be looked at. Shawn found a seat in the shop where people would come to play or talk in the music store and sat down to wait on his girlfriend.

Shawn had a pretty nice evening planned out he was going to go to dinner with Becca then maybe come back to the mall to see a movie or something. Shawn watched as people walked around the store some people knowing what they where looking for, and some of them just looking to start out playing music as he sat there he started to think the first time his dad handed him a guitar, and ever since then he never looked back now he was teaching Rebecca how to play, and it reminded him of what he did when his father taught him he always thought he should just get it down, and would be able to learn in a week, but he was still learning stuff and still went to lessons every other day. Shawn looked down to his watch to see what time it was Rebecca would be here any minute so he sat back and waited.

Tying her shoes Rebecca smiled staring into her mirror to make sure she looked alright, she was glad the mall was nearby because she was going to be meeting her boy friend there very soon. The very thought of that word made Rebecca smile, she was very happy to be able to call Shawn her boy friend. In fact, before him she didn’t really have to many boyfriends, if anything she never got farther than being friends with a guy. She was a tom boy and she knew that, most of her friends were guys and she had fun just singing to herself or playing sports with her friends. She never seemed to see anything wrong with getting down and dirty and more than once did she come home in new clothes covered in dirt, it was just one of those things she couldn’t seem to help. It was like her fighting, she had a bit of a temper issue and if someone made her mad she would be sure to just go and punch them in the face. That was the way Rebecca was though, and she knew that it was just a bit of an issue.

Heading outside after a quick good bye to her dad she headed to the mall, it was that far from where she lived and in fact it was walking distance so that was just what she decided to do. Shoving her hands into her jacket pockets she pulled out her phone to look at the time, the short walk to the mall seemed to take forever to her. Maybe the reason for that was she really wanted to see Shawn after about a day of not seeing him, it was probably making her very inpatient having to walk even the ten minute walk to the mall that to her seemed almost an hour longer. “You know it’s a very good thing I’ve been to the music store before” she told herself running her fingers through her hair finally getting to the mall. “Yay finally here” she grinned before heading off to the music store, which was close to the front of the mall and not that hard to find.

Walking slowly into the music store she tightened her pig tails before looking around spotting Shawn and walking slowly over to him, “hey Shawn” she said with a smile. She really wondered what Shawn had planned, “what are our plans for today?” she asked with a slight tilt of her head. Yes she knew she looked a tad childish, but it was a cute kind of childish. Rebecca was known for being pretty childish anyways, it wasn’t really one of those things she could seem to actually help really.

Shawn sat in the chair looking the guitar over he really didn't know if Becca would like it but he was hoping she would. He leaned it up againt the chair and sat back relaxing. It wouldn't be long before she got here. Shawn closed his eyes and let out a breath trying to think of what they could do tonight. Shawn heared rebecca say his name as she walked over to the chair he was sitting at. Shawn got up from the chair. He hugged Rebecca when she got to him and said" HeY becca hunny how is your day going.''

Shawn smiled at becca and said " Well i really don't have anything planned out i was thinking dinner and a movie.'' Shawn knew anything he did with rebecca would be fun becuase that would be with each other. Shawn walked back over to where he sat the guitar down, and picked it up turning around and asked " So becca do you like this guitar?'' Shawn held it up like he was playing it the motioned for becca to site down so she could hold it and see how it felt.

Hugging Shawn back she smiled, her day had been a slow and pretty boring one. She actually sat at home reading all day, finally finishing the books she intended to have finished ages ago. She got lazy and distracted by all the cool things in her room so she just continued to put it off. It wasn’t that they were bad or boring books either, it was that Rebecca had the attention span of a gold fish and it took her forever to do things sometimes. Which is why her room stayed lean, she knew if she ever had it a mess it would never get clean; the cool things would distract her. “My day had been pretty boring to be honest, I sat in my room reading and listening to music ignoring whatever my dad was doing. I think he was listening to something loudly and the music droned it out, I finished these two books I was meaning to finish ages ago but never get to.

I always got distracted so I continued just putting it off, it was an issue sometimes because they were really good books and when I finally finished them I wished that I read them before instead of being distracted all the time. Alas, that wasn’t the case though, and here I am now after noting the time I walked here” she nodded a little bit. His idea for dinner and a movie sounded great, “dinner and a movie sounds perfect to be honest” she smiled looking at him a little confused when he asked if she liked the guitar he was holding. Of course she did, it was a nice guitar but why would he just go and ask that.

“Of course, it’s a nice guitar. Why do you ask?” she sat down when he motioned her to not taking her gaze off of him, she kept her same look of confusion when she did.

Shawn smiled at her as he handed her the guitar. " Well i was thinking about getting it for you, Because the guitar you are using should be in a case just to be looked at and not played.'' Shawn knew it was Rebecca's grandfathers, and she had took really good care of it but that guitar was worth more then most of the ones Shawn had in his house.Shawn had been helping Rebecca learn the guitar for about a month now, and she was getting pretty good even if she didn't think she was. Shawn sat down across from Rebecca he was glad she liked the plan of going to dinner and a movie because he really hadn't thought of anything else maybe going to the mini golf place, but it was kind out so he didn't think that was a good idea. " I mean if you don't want it i understand I just figured it would be a good one to start out on." Shawn had sold a couple guitars awhile back to buy a new one but his dad had got it for him so he had all the money saved up.

Shawn looked around the music store to see what every one was doing. There where people every where there was more people then had been into the store for the past two days. Shawn waved at some of the customers he knew then looked back at Rebecca and said " I'm glad you had a good day mine was good to, and that's good you finished your books i love to read but finding time to read now that i have been taking more lessons, and working more is hard.'' Shawn loved to go to music lessons, but now that he told his dad he wanted to go further in music he had been going to music lessons even more and then when he wasn't practicing he was at work or with Rebecca.

Rebecca blinked looking down at the guitar she was holding, his words surprised her and she didn’t seem to quite understand them. Of course he got her a few things here and there, but nothing that cost so much money but the guitar felt so right when it was in her hands. “Why would you spend the money though, money you could easily spend on yourself. I mean I know my guitar I have should be in a case, it’s a really special guitar and probably the one thing that if it ever broke or something happened to it I’d die. It’s that and the picture of me and my grandma before she died, it was the last time I ever saw her and it’s a really special picture” she sighed looking down. “I mean it’d be a great guitar to have, it’s just you really don’t have to” she just shook a little bit.

To her dinner and a movie together sounded perfect as long as they were together, she just cared about that and they could be doing anything and she would be happy. “To be honest we could be doing anything and I wouldn’t really mind it at all, as long as we are together” she looked at him and nodded. “I can see that, also seeing me is added in there because you hate being away from me for too long” she laughed a little bit. She remembered when he said he didn’t like being away from her for too long, anymore then a day in fact.

" I figured you would like the guitar and I already have the money saved up for a guitar, and dad got it for me so i want to get this one for you because i know you like to play now.'' Shawn knew she liked the guitar, and he wanted her to have it. Shawn leaned over to Becca and gave her a kiss on the lips Shawn liked the feeling of his lips touching hers it made him feel really special like he was the only guy she could see in the world. Shawn got up from his chair and stepped over to becca helping her out of the chair and walking over to the counter where he could set the guitar. Shawn didn't want to get it when rebecca was there he wanted to get her some other stuff for it so it would be a little more of a surprise. Shawn turned to to rebecca and said" Well lets get going. Where would you like to go eat?''

Shawn put his hand in rebecca's and waited for her to tell him something. He really didn't care where they went he was getting hungry and needed food. Shawn kissed becca's forhead and then stuck his tongue out at her he liked to make her laugh, and when ever they saw each other he always had a really good time." I love spending time with you my becca, and when ever im away from you for a long time i get sad.'' Shawn didn't want to sound like he was just telling her what she wanted to hear because he really did like to spend time with here and he wanted to spend every seconed he could being with her.

“Still think it’s a waste of money though. I mean I know I’m your girlfriend Shawn but you really don’t have to. I mean yeah it would be nice to have a new guitar so I don’t have to use my grandfather’s old guitar since that is my prized possession and it means a lot to me, it would be nice to have a better guitar to practice on. At least one that isn’t well my prized possession and I would literally cry if something happened to it” she smiled when he kissed her, he came to the conclusion that the feel of his lips on hers was a great feeling. A feeling like knowing that he would only kiss her, and she knew that. As his girl friend she had that privilege and she loved his kisses. “Anywhere is fine to be honest, I’m not really much of a picky eater “she shrugged her shoulders.

When Shawn stuck his tongue out she laughed, she couldn’t help it and she had a feeling that was his reason for doing so. He was just trying to make her laugh and clearly it worked out for him to. “Even pizza works to be honest” she shrugged; really she didn’t care where they went. “I believe you told me that before that you loved spending time with me and to be honest I get sad when I’m away from you for a long time to. I just really like being with you, you’re good at cheering me up which really makes me happy” she smiled at him looking at the hands.

Shawn knew the guitar was a lot of money, but he wanted to get her something nice even though they hadn't dated long. Shawn looked back to rebecca and said " It's not to much money I can't think of anything i want so i would like to buy this for you. Shawn started walking down to the food court he remembered the first time the talked at the Pizzaria it was the best time he had in a while, but know every time he was with her was the best time in his life. Shawn looked over at Rebecca and said " I don't care where we eat, but pizza does sound good i love pizza.''. Shawn laughed when Rebecca laughed at the face he made he loved making her laugh and he loved to tickle her. Shawn stopped at a hat store that he loved to go in ever time he was at work. Shawn turned to Becca and said " Want to go in there I love buying hats.''

Shawn walked to the opening to the store before he went into the store he put his arm around her waist, and pulled her closers to him Shawn leaned down and kissed her on the lips again. " Sweet heart I love you, and I'm really happy that we have each other. I like when we cuddle and when you hug me you make me feel like the best guy in the world, and i never want to be with out you I cant take being away from you for more then a day.'' Shawn kissed her for head again the leaned against the wall waiting for her to say something.

Rebecca tried not to frown at the fact he was spending all that money on her just to buy her something, sure he spent money on her before buying her small things but that wasn’t much. It was only small things, nothing this big or this expensive and she felt in her mind he really didn’t need to do that. They weren’t really even dating that long, so it wasn’t important either. Thinking back to the day they met she smiled, that was when they were only friends and seeing them now she noticed that they came a far way in a pretty short time and she didn’t mind that at all. “I love pizza to, as you know since we met for the first time over eating pizza” she laughed a little bit again looking at the hat store. “Hat store, one of my favorite places in the mall, it sells awesome hats that I wear all the time” today she was wearing a plain old green hat.

She was one to wear hats a lot, just because she really like wearing them and even with pig tails in her hair she would wear one.Rebecca smiled when he kissed her lips again, she loved when he did that and nodding a little she looked at him. “I love you to Shawn a lot in fact, that it’s almost funny how a person can go and fall in love with a person that fast. I did though, and I’m a little surprised but also so happy because you are such a great guy and I’m happy to have to have you in my life. I really am, to the point words can’t describe my feelings sometimes. Nothing can really seem to describe my feelings really, no words, no true emotion can really describe anything right now” she looked down for a moment.
