Dom frowned staring down at the few inches you could see of his leg when he wore his jeans, the eighteen year old was terrible at doing laundry and tended to shrink all his clothes so it was either he ended up wearing small clothes or he went shopping. Although, that was starting to no longer become an option as his shoes were also starting to get to small for him now. Counting his money he sighed biting his lip, figures there wasn’t much there and what he got was surely to be from anything that was on sale. He was normally a for sale shopper, since his parents worked a lot just to actually make ends meet and he found his self trying to make sure his clothes lasted him till he was able to go shopping again. He learned quickly to cherish the money he did have, and saved it up for when he really needed it.
May it even skipping days of lunch or not eating dinner that kid so he had money, he was spending the money he did have on clothes and other things he needed. The sad thing is even the money he had wasn’t much, he never really had much money and he didn’t think he would for a while either. So the money he was using today was all the money that he had saved up over the time, over years in fact. It was enough to get him by at least, but still not much at all and he hated when people bought things for him. In his mind it made him seem incapable of buying things for his self, and that wasn’t always the case. Sure there were those times when he have liked certain things he didn’t have, but he had to learn to deal with what the fact that’s just how life went. At least he had his guitars and piano, without them he wouldn’t have music and without his music he didn’t know what he had left. Music was a very big part of his life, and he was always writing or playing music.
His music was important to him, the way he got his feelings out and ever since he was young he sang to his self and begged his parents for his piano and guitars he had. They didn’t use them, it was all for him and he used each well. If he wasn’t playing guitar, he was playing piano and if he wasn’t playing piano, he was playing guitar and he was always singing to his self. Taking his phone out of his pocket he texted Teddy.
“Hey can you meet you at the mall, I am in desperate need of new clothes and other things. I refuse to go shopping alone and as my best friend I think you should go with me.” that’s what the text message read and pulling his shoes on he walked outside and on his way to the mall, he was glad he lived in a walking distance of the mall because his parents had both of the cars they had. So he was stuck with walking and he was fine with that to, it was a nice day and he was very capable of actually walking. Getting to the mall he just went and sat on a bench playing a game on his phone, it could be a while till Teddy got there and he knew that. So till he got there he would just sit and wait, it was really the only thing he could do.
