Early In The Morning (Teddy aka Noraaaaa)

Sighing a little bit to his self Alan turned off his radio, the sounds of Lady Gaga were hardly ones he wantd to listen to so he figures it was much better off that way. Not that he had a problem with Lady Gaga though, just this early in the the morning. He didn't want any music, he yawned looking at the time. It was early and he found his self going to the park, for the last few weeks he was trying very hard to get to know Amy and her entire family.

Getting to know her brother Christian was the hardest part in that, he didn't seem to like him right off the bat and he really did wonder why. He surely didn't do anything wrong and he treated Amy with respect and kindess too. So why would there ever be a need for him to dislike him, he had no reason to. Alan surely liked him though, he was trying his best to for the sake of Amy and mostly just ignored him. Taking a deep breath he pulled into the lot by the lake stepping out, there wasn't much of a reason for him to be here.

He just needed time to clear his head and get use to the thought of ever being married, he just really hoped he would be able to pull the whole thing off. Going and sitting on a bench by the lake he stared down at the water, yeah this was a perfect place to think.

Teddy was asked out to the lake by one of his classmate who was new in town. He thought she was cute so he agreed. He was hoping to meet her around the evening but she asked him to meet her in the morning for a walk and looking at her cute face, he couldn't deny it. He hated waking up early on weekends but he had to be there or else he was going to give her a bad impression, which he didn't wanted. So with the alarm set on his alarm clock by his side he slept early to wake up early. As he was up he headed off to take a quick shower and after that pulled on shorts and a shirt and wore his joggers and ran out of the house grabbing an apple. He had his ipod and earphones in his shorts pockets that he pulled out and started listening to music as he made his way to the lake, that was near his house.

He was there on time and she was just five minutes late which wasn't a big deal. They had a good chat as the walked around the lake and after what seemed to be like fourty five minutes she left, kissing him on the cheek. Whoa. First hang out, and she was already pecking him. Good good. He was sure he had impressed her and that she liked him or else why would she ask him out and secondly kiss him? As he turned around he saw Alan, her dear older sister's fiance sitting at the bench. Teddy wonder if he had seen him or not. Then he wondered what was he doing around this time? it was only nine am.

He stood beside Alan and coughed. '' Hey pal. What you doing here so early?'' he asked, curiously. What if he was waiting for someone? perhaps amy. No way. Amy wasn't the type to get up so early. She would never compromise with her sleep. Maybe someone else then? He looked at him curiously, noticing how he seemed to look like he was thinking of something deeply. '' Thinking about Amy, eh?'' he grinned and sat next to him. He thought to have a littl chat with his future in brother-in-law.

The funny thing is, Alan had had a reason to be here this early in the morning other than he had it in his head that he wanted to come to the lake and here he now was. Staring down at the water that was only a few feet away, he heard the water in the lake was ice cold though. He would never set foot in it but it was sure nice for him to look at, as it glistened due to the sun light. For nine in the morning it was sure a very sunny and warm day, he was sporting shorts and a t-shirt. On his feet he had a pair of sandals, it was just the best thing to wear in this kind of weather. That and he knew if he wore jeans he would be sweating like crazy, and that was the last thing he needed.

Running his fingers through his hair he heard a voice, one he was sure he heard before and turning his head he spotted Teddy standing there. Teddy his fiancé’s brother and he was quite surprised to see him out here this early, “I could ask you the same exact thing you know. It’s what nine in the morning, and actually I have a class in about two hours so I thought I might as well be up now” he shrugged his shoulders. He was studying to be a teacher, the classes weren’t easy but they weren’t difficult either and probably what he hated the most about his classes were the very long essays he was forced to write. It was just so boring, and he always wished that they would write themselves.

“Actually you’re right, your sister is just the thing I’m thinking about a lot lately actually and I have no idea why. I mean I am going to be married to her soon and lord that’s a scary thought, but I know that she likes me because she has told me that she does” Alan took a deep breath. You like me to from what it seems, but you brother Christian he doesn’t like me at all. I don’t know why though, I don’t seem to give him any reason to not like me or anything do I?” Alan was surely only human though and if someone didn’t like him he would have to learn to deal with that.

Teddy wasn't really the type of person to wake up early in the morning and go for walks. He knew early morning walks were healthy but he was lazy to get up early, especially on weekend. During normal school days, he would go skating to school because his parents were too busy to drop him off. And if Amy was in any good mood and up early then she would drop him to school . But Teddy made a compromise with his sleep only for the sake of the girl that called him over for a walk. Girls were his weakness, especially if they were pretty. Teddy was a flirt, and he knew that and never thought there was anything wrong about it.

He spotted Alan as he turned out and was amused. Alan was like the last person Teddy expected to be up in the morning in a place like this. He decided to go over for a chat. Bonding with his brother in law was very important. '' Well, there is this girl from my school. She's new in town and she asked me out. I was hoping that she was going to go out with me somewhere in the evening, but she asked me for a morning walk with her near the lakeside so I woke up early and came here to meet her '' Teddy was always honest with everyone and open. He never feared to show his mischevious side to anyone. But right now he wasn't upto any mischeif. He never felt the need to play a prank on Alan because he was always too serious and never appeared to be the one for his pranks. But he would never want to miss his chance of pranking both Amy and Alan as a couple, only for a good laugh and utter embarrassment for Amy.

Teddy wasn't serious about asking him if he was busy thinking about his sister. He was only teasing him. And it turned out that he was seriously thinking about her. surprising. Teddy flashed a grin. Amy told him that she liked him? She was quick to forget Reed and start liking Alan. '' If she told you, I bet she meant it.'' he patted him on the shoulder. Teddy hoped Amy really did mean it because Alan seemed to be very hopeful about it. He hoped Amy didn't say it to keep Alan's heart. '' Do you like her too? '' teddy felt bad that his parents had forced Amy to make such a huge compromise with her life and she did it for the sake of their happiness. He was proud of his sister to see her make such a sacrifice but didn't wanted to follow her steps. '' Your cool dude. Don't worry about Chris. He's not able to digest the news of our only sister's quick marriage. He will come around. I'll talk to him. '' Teddy nodded, giving him the assuring look that there wasn't anything to worry about. Alan was very concerned which a good thing and it proved that he was a good guy, '' I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong. ''

''Alan laughed a little bit shaking his head, he shouldn’t have been surprised that his soon to be brother in law was here this early in the morning all for a girl. “Here I thought there was another reason for an early morning trip to the lake, but I guess I should have known it was to see a girl. To be honest I can’t say I ever found myself anywhere early in the morning to see a girl, but late at night when one needed me I found myself at this park where I use to live before coming here. I’m always one for comforting, and my friend needed me so I was there for her. I’m always there if someone needs me, it’s the least I can do being a good friends and I’d be there for you, Amy, heck even your brother if you ever needed me I’d be there” he sighed a little bit running his fingers through his hair. That was just the way that Alan was brought up, he was to caring and he couldn’t help being the way he was and he didn’t think he’d ever want to change though.

Yes lately Amy was on Alan’s mind a lot and he didn’t even really know why, was it because he liked her or just a totally different reason. He wasn’t all that sure at all, “I really do hope she meant it to be honest but it’s hard to get my hopes up and then let things slowly crash down again” he looked down for a moment before nodding. “Yes I guess I do like her, in the time I got to know her I guess I just began to like her more and more and now I really seem to like her. To the point that I’m fine with all of this, and as I continue learning more and more about her, I just really continue to like her more and more every time” he smiled. The main thing here right now was, he was actually speaking the truth.

“I didn’t think I did anything wrong either, I treat you guys with utter respect and yet he still doesn’t like me. I can understand that Amy is his sister and he wants to protect her, but I never hurt her and my intention is good. I would never hurt Amy and I do want you to know that, it’s just not how I am and I think my parents would shun me if I ever did. They raised me far better than that” he nodded.
