IF I HAD IT MY WAY I WOULD NEVER GET OVER YOU[ TODAYS THE DAY THAT I PRAY WE MAKE IT THROUGH arwen had been sitting on her bed for about an hour since she got up from her sleep. it was twelve oclock on the dot, and she really knew that she didn't want to stay in this room all day. she pushed herself off of her bed, and moved slowly to her closet. she picked out her black shorts, and then a simple blue band t-shirt. she slid her shorts that she had on, off of her, and then pulled her shirt that she had on off. she slipped her outfit on that she picked out for the day on. she looked into the mirror, and started to work on what she needed. she brushed her brush through her thick black hair, and after she was done that, she picked up her straightner. she pulled it through all the pieces of her hair that needed to be more straightened. she ran her fingers slowly through every part of her hair checking if anything else needed to be done.
she placed it down on her table, and then took her cover up. she simply went over her face, making sure to get every inch, and blend it in well. she then placed that down, at the same time she picked up her eye liner. she looked to her eyes, simply fixing the stuff that she had on yesterday. but, this time, she darkened it, making it ten times darker than it really was. lastly she applied some mascara, and gray eye shadow as well, blending it in with her eye liner lightly. she looked at herself in the reflection, and nodded. she slipped her feet into her moscans, and grabbed her cell phone out on the way of her room. she moved passed the other rooms, and down the stairs. on the way out, she grabbed her set of keys to the house.
she was off to find some fun at the lake. it was always nice living about two seconds away from it for her. she enjoyed coming here actually. mostly, she met everyone here, because some really wierd people seemed to come here. some people were here to just think, or just because they had nothing else to do. but, today, she was here just to sit there and chill. she knew that they had swings, so maybe, she would do that. but, today was not a swimming day. she made her way down the road, taking the path that she always did take to get to the lake. soon, she could feel the breeze on her skin, and hear the waves crashing down on the sand. her eyes light up, and her smile formed on her face, as she felt she was safe and home.
water had always been something that arwen loved. either just taking pictures of it, staring at it or being in it. ever since she was little, she was a fish out of water. she moved slowly over to the bench that she seemed to always find herself at. she slowly sat down, and looked out to the water. she sighed, taking a deep breath. she wondered sometimes where her life would go, who she would meet that very day that would change her life. little did she know she was meeting someone that was going to change it forever. she looked to the side, staring at the little birds, and then lauged as they fought over the food left over from someone.
she looked out to the water, watching the waves crash down to the beach. sometimes, she wish she could be a fish, or even a bird. just to get away from life, and what everyone thought. animals had it easy, as she thought. they didn't have to pretend to be anything, at all. they were just them, and everyone adored them for who they were. they were something that she wished she was. she looked around, and then let a sigh out of her lips. sometimes she wished she had the courage to be who she really was, but she knew that she didn't. she had become someone that she never wanted to be, and she knew that. but, who was there to really help her through that? daisy was always caught up in her own life, and dustin was always dealing with his family. her brother, tried, but after he got kicked out, all he cares about is his boyfriend.
arwen let out a pathetic little whimper, and then stared back at the water. this was the one place that she felt she could be who she was, and if that left? she felt as she would just crack sometime soon. she had no idea who she really was anymore..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- your time has come for the new religion--------------------------------------------------------------------------- x. he had managed to pawn off his daughter for the day. this was exactly the kind of freedom he needed at the moment. his best friend was missing in action at the moment, which left zeynel to his own devices. this was often a bad thing, considering the kind of ‘devices’ that he likes to lend himself to. at the moment, he was quite set on snorting a few lines and seeing how much trouble he could get in. of course, this was a horrible idea due to the fact that he has a three year old daughter that depends on him for survival, but his moral compass was shot. there was nothing that would hold him back when he started doing some drugs. sadly, he cared a lot about his daughter, but not enough to stop his self destructive behavior. he’s willing to risk her safety for his own enjoyment and that’s where he’s failed as a parent. every other area, he is up to par, but his needs, more often than not, come before hers. that’s when things get dangerous for her and he can’t seem to wrap his head around that.
x. as he finished up more of his habits, he stood up from his living room floor, wiping violently at his nose as he walked toward the bathroom. splashing his face violently, he rubbed at his eyes for a moment before staring at his reflection in the mirror. pulling out a brush, he ran it through his short, black hair and began to style it in its usual, spiky way. once he was satisfied that it looked decent enough, he dropped the brush onto the counter with a loud clank. he stumbled slightly on his way into his bedroom where he slid on his shoes and grabbed his sunglasses, keys, and wallet. placing the glasses on his face, he adjusted them in the mirror and gave himself an award winning smile. placing the other items in his pockets, he worked his way back into the living room where he began to pick up his junk and put it away. the last thing he needed to do was forget to put it away before going to retrieve lana.
x. he grabbed his mostly full bottle of soda off the table as he exited his apartment, making sure to lock the door behind him. taking a long drink from the bottle, his mind racked all the possibilities of what he could do today. he decided it would be the smartest idea to stay away from large crowds for a while, at least until his high started to wear down, but he wasn’t about to stay in hiding. what’s the fun in getting high if you can’t share it with someone? still, he walked aimlessly as he narrowed down the possibilities. he wanted to go somewhere where he could hang out with some people with the minimal chance of running into the cops.
x. he hadn’t even realized that he managed to make his way all the way to the lake, still not having made a choice on what he wanted to do with himself today. his eyes were glazed and he was so lost in thought, that he hadn’t realized that he had walked directly into the water. jumping back quickly, he came back to reality and his face spilt into a smile. suddenly, he was laughing. he was so amused by his own misstep that he almost tumbled face first into the water. catching his footing quickly, he took a few steps back from the edge as he finished his laughing fit. he could only imagine what he looked like to anyone who may have witnessed his little outburst, which only made him start laughing all over again. when he finally felt that he had gotten himself under control, he wiped at his nose subconsciously, wiping the back of his hand off on his jeans.
x. turning his head slightly, his eyes landed on a girl. she was beautiful, to say the least, and he was more than interested in approaching her. the substance coursing through his veins gave him more confidence and courage than usual. he shoved his hands into his jeans pockets, shaking his feet slightly to rid of some water, before walking over to the bench she was sitting at. his feet squeaked slightly, but his attention had been diverted to the young girl, so he didn’t find it nearly as amusing as he would have a few seconds ago. without even asking, he plopped down on the bench beside her, leaning back with his feet stretched out in front of him, sitting in the direct sunlight as he hoped they would dry. turning his head slightly to look at her, his eyes watched her from underneath his dark sunglasses. “hm,” he said thoughtfully before giving a soft smirk. “you look like my next play toy.” he said with a thick accent of the middle east and laughed slightly. “no, i’m just kidding. i’m zey,” he said directly afterwards, his words dripping heavily with his turkish accent.

the boredum of everything had caught up with little miss arwen, and she found herself sitting indian style playing with her wonderful piece of crap cell phone. she was playing her stupid little game that she had found the other day on it, and it seemed to keep her busy on those days that she had to sit in the office of her doctors. mostly that was something she did almost every two days. arwen saw therapists, doctors, and everything almost twice a week of her life. she was a walking mess, who didn't know who she really was.
in the midst of her boredum, she got interupted, when she saw a rather dashing looking guy that seemed to almost face plant into the water. she watched him, trying not to make too much noise, and too crack up too much. but, she couldn't help it. this was a free comedy for her, in her mind. but, as she watched him step back, and whip his nose, she knew. he was on drugs, so it was alittle less funny at that point. but, still it was funny. she watched him, carefully, making sure he was alright.
and then his eyes landed on her, and she knew that she was in trouble. she watched him, carefully watching every move that he was taking. he semi worried her yet interigered her a bit. he seemed like someone fun to hang with, to known and be friends with. little arwen just needed some fun in her life after all the shit she was put through. once, he landed on the bench next to her, without asking, she smiled, lightly. she wasn't scared, she wasn't offended by it, but curious. then he spoke, and just by one word, she knew that he had an accent. and that accent seemed to make her melt away.
she giggled at his next words, lightly. though the fact she wouldn't mind that at all. he was pretty sexy, if she had to say. her blue eyes looked at him, and she smiled, with her baby looking smile, and said" hey, i'm arwen." she looked at him, her eyes traveling all over his body, and then back up to his face. yup, he was definately sexy. her eyes looked to his glasses, trying to see past them, and then she add" i liked the free comedy show you just gave me, you're pretty entertaining, you know?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- your time has come for the new religion--------------------------------------------------------------------------- x. once she opened her mouth and introduced herself, zey’s smile grew a littler wider. he watched her carefully, his vision darkened by the sunglasses that disrupted his vision. he watched her movements carefully and as her eyes traveled down his body, he couldn’t help but chuckle a little bit. maybe this will be easier than he thought. taking the opportunity, he looked her over as well, his eyes lingering longer than they should under the protection of his sunglasses. as her eyes met his once again, he reached up and grabbed the edge of his glasses, pushing them up to settle on top of the beanie on his head. his brown eyes revealed, he finally made true eye contact with the girl who was obviously much younger than him. “arwen? cute,” he said slowly, his accent dragging out. he knew what it did to the ladies and he took every advantage of it. more often than not, he’d pull out other languages and just start whispering to them. man, the way most of them melted.. it was the greatest sight.
x. laughing at her comment, he shrugged and turned to stare out at the water. his tongue darted out and ran along his lips for a moment, coating them quickly before disappearing into his mouth once more. he was desperate for a cigarette. coughing slightly from the thought of it, he brought the back of his hand up to his mouth as he continued to cough. once he felt like he could breathe again without the itch in the back of his throat, he dropped his hand and turned his face back to her. “ah, well, ya know..” he shrugged again, “someone’s gotta make a fool of himself for other people’s enjoyment from time to time.” he cracked a brilliant smile as he pulled his hands from his pockets and set them in his lap lazily. “glad you enjoyed the show, though,” he said with a quick wink as he stretched his legs out a little further.
x. turning his attention back to the water, he watched as the wind caught the water and made it push up in small waves. it made him miss the ocean a bit. although he had only seen it a few times, he enjoyed everything about it. everything from the salt to the heat. taking a slow, deep breath, he released it in a puff and looked at arwen through the corner of his eye. “there’s a few other things i can show you sometime.” he said as he turned his face back completely, his light brown eyes slowly morphing to a deep drown, smoldering in the sunlight.

her blue eyes watched the boy examining what he was doing, and how he was doing it. once again, once he opened his mouth to talk, she felt her stomach go up into butterflies. she could tell just by how he was that he knew that his accent was what got girls to go weak. her eyes looked over to him, once he said that. her smile appeared on her face, and then she looked out to the water. she looked back at him once, and then smiled. she caught a climse of his eyes after, he had taken off his glasses, and she smiled.
brown eyes always seemed to make her happy for some reason. she looked out to the lake, enjoying the scenes, and taking in all that was offered here. she loved it here, honestly. she always seemed to get into a better mood when she came here. she can remember the days that she came here with her brother, after everything that had happened in a stressful life of arwen. she seemed to love it here, just because she knew he did too. she looked at him, once she heard him speak. she laughed, and said " i know very well of that." she pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear, and then she added" i tend to do it alot sometimes." she smiled at him once he said the last thing. she did enjoy it, actually. it was the first thing all day to get her to laugh.
arwen sat there, and stared out to the lake. sometimes, she forgot just how much she loved it here. it always did get rid of the stress of how her life was. the way the waves crash down on to the beach, and the way the birds were always making some sort of noise. she looked at him, out of her corner of her eye once he said that. she watched him, and then said" really, now? like what?"
