ryder had a day off from having the kids, for the first time in about a week. in all honesty, ryder couldn't wait for this day because he had been well, urm, so overwhelmed with everything in his life so far. with nicole back in his life, he had so much drama that he was over his head in it. as well as nicole, there was millie. the girl right before nicole entered that he met. millie was amazing, really she was the most sweetest, understanding and down to earth girl. complete polar oppisite of nicole. nicole was stuck up, materalistic, and got way to overwhelmed easily, but millie. well, she was used to all the stress that children brought, as she worked at the town's daycare.
ryder had one hand on his steering - wheel, and the other on the his leg. he was casual driving, as he would call it. he was searching for somewhere to go, and then it hit him where he would go; the lake. he already had his swimsuit on, and a black shirt on as well. he looked around as he turned down the road, towards the lake. ryder seemed to find himself here, or the park for thinking.
he sighed, and then looked towards his phone. he seemed to think it was a good time for him and nic to talk things out. no, he didn't want a scream fest that happened the first time that they met. but he wanted to talk things out smoothly. just how would this all work? things with her always got complicated. he sighed, and then when he parked the car infront of the lake, he grabbed his cell phone. he went to text nicole.
" hey, nic. i'm at the lake. i thought maybe we could hang out, and talk about things alittle more. i don't know what your doing, but if you can, meet me at the lake."
after he hit send, he shut his phone, sliding in his pocket. once this was done, he shut his car off, pulling the keys out, he opened the door to his suv. he closed the door, and then walked to the bench. he sat down, looking out at the water. it was so calm here, and for once, empty. he put his hands together, relaxing a bit. he smiled, taking a breath, and the waiting came began for his once-lover, nicole. the one he knew he still loved, the one he had two wonderful children with, that just happen to be the center of his world. and the woman that drove him insane, in many ways.
