Marnie shifted to Lipton three weeks ago but got to stay there for a week and for the next two weeks she went back to her older town to meet her best friend and her old granny who was admitted in the hospital for she was severely ill. Few days later her grandmother passed away, leaving her orphan friend all alone and Marnie stayed back for the rest of the weeks to comfort her and help her get over the loss. By the end of the week Marnie suggested her best friend to move in with her in her apartment in Lipton and her best friend Jasmine agreed. So Marnie helped her up in packing as much as she could before returning back to Lipton and asking her to join whenever she wanted. Marnie had her last day off for today but from tomorrow on wards she was going to work hard and on double shift to make up all the money she needed for living.
She got home, took a bath and ran of to Christian's home, hoping to meet him and apologize for disappearing on him for two bloody weeks without telling him anything or giving him her contact number. She didn't know if he missed her or not but she sure missed him a lot. They had spend her first whole week in Lipton together. Either she would go over to his place to cook him dishes or he would come over to help her in decorating her house, also they worked at the same place so they met there and they would go out for night walks and shopping, he was showing her around and keeping her accompanied. It took them just a week to know everything about each other and then she disappeared without informing him about anything. For her the first week was very tiresome and stressing but her second week was miserable. After the old lady passed away, she wanted to go back to Lipton and meet Chris as she missed him awfully too much and didn't wanted to deal with the pain of the old lady's death. She wanted to avoid it or or. . forget it like a nightmare but she stayed back for her dear friend to console her and help her in such a time of difficulty.
When she got back home, she ran off to Chris house but found it looked. He must have been at work. Slipping in a note from under the door that read ' it's me Marnie, I'm back! come over for dinner. Will be waiting.' and decided to cook him his favorite dinner for tonight. He must be mad at her for leaving for two whole weeks without telling him anything and not even giving him her cell phone number. She had forgotten to do so. He liked turkey sandwich so she made the two of them two sandwiches of big sizes and along with it chicken plus vegetable spaghetti that had to be her and perhaps his favorite too. Setting them on table around the dinner time, she sat back expecting him to be at her place any minute but he came around 10 pm and by the time she had fallen asleep on the sofa.
As the bell rang, she woke up and pulled herself up. Looking at the clock she ran to wards the door and opened it to see Christian in front of her. She didn't know if she had to smile or glare at him for being so late or apologize for disappearing off. There were a mixture of feelings and she wanted to get rid of everything from her mind and just relax but she was tired and stressed out after two miserable weeks of sadness. '' You're late. '' she said, looking at him and shut the door behind him as he walked in. He seemed to pissed off, and she looked at him, hoping he would speak but he wasn't willing to. Her eyes filled with tears, not just because he was mad at her because she had missed him a lot and that someone she was very close to old lady who passed away. She reached for Christian and hugged him, her head resting on his chest and she sniffed, trying to hold herself back from crying. '' Did you miss me? ''

annoyed. that had been the initial feeling that christian had encountered when marnie disappeared without contact information, or at least giving details on where she was going. chris had no idea why he was falling for a girl so fast, or if he had already fallen head over heels for her. after never being in love, he began to feel that love just wasn't possible for him. all of his relationships in the past had never lasted long. either he had gotten sick of a girl too quick, or the feelings just weren't strong enough for him to continue in it. and then there was one girl who he did like, but for some reason he just kept pushing her away until she finally left. chris had a way of making people leave him, either they didn't want to be around him, or they just didn't like him. but when marnie was away from him, he felt as if it was the worst feeling in the world. ripping his heart out was his first feeling, and he had never felt anything so strong before.
as he made his way home from work, humming in his car along to the radio, marnie was in his head the whole time. and a love song was playing on the radio. chris wasn't sure if this was an omen, or a weird coincidence, but for some reason he didn't turn off the song, when normally he did for love songs. there was something about love songs that made him upset and want to change the channel. humming along softly to the song, he pulled into his driveway, turning off the car, and heading into his house. letting out a puff of breath, he fumbled in his pocket searching for his keys into his house. it would have been smart to put his car keys and house key on the same chain, but he just wasn't that smart. christian was pretty smart, but when it came to common sense he just had a weak point. making his way into his house, he noticed a note under his door, from marnie. smiling to himself, a feeling of excitement and happiness rushed through his veins. since christian didn't want to go over to marnie's looking like a mess, he rushed to the shower taking a shower as quick as he could. it had just been too long since he last saw her.
after his shower, christian ran to marnie's house, knowing that he was pretty late, but not being able to control it. did she want him going to her house looking like a mess? he was pretty sure she didn't. he rung her doorbell, shoving his hands in his pockets, waiting for her to come answer the door. as she finally opened the door, christian looked at her like he was really upset, because he was. she better have had a good reason for disappearing for a few weeks, without telling him anything. it pissed him off. did she think that he didn't care? because it was the complete opposite of that. chris ran a finger through his hair, before marnie was hugging him, and leaning her chest on him. and she asked if he had missed her, but of course he had missed her. every second of his day she was on his mind. worried. "of course i missed you," he looked down at her, running his fingers through her hair gently. "thought about you every second of the day." there was no way that christian could possibly stay mad at marnie now, after this warm and welcoming embrace.

She was expecting him to be home around dinner but it was 10 pm when he got to her house. As he walked in she hugged him, wiping off her tears she moved away. They may have known each other for a week, but she felt like she knew him for longer than than. He was such a nice guy, always so sweet and caring towards her and she couldn't help but always smile around him. She sniffed and smiled at him. '' I missed you more. '' she said and started to walk over to the table. the food was cold by now. '' Have a seat, I'll be back in a mint. '' she picked up the food plates and went in the kitchen, placed them in the micro oven and set it on timer for a few minutes. When the mirco oven beeped she pulled open the door and picked up the plates and went out to place them back on the table where he was sitting. She sat next to him. '' You must be starving you hungry bear.'' she teased, only joking. Chuckling a little, she pushed the dishes over towards him. '' I cooked you your favorite dishes. '' she smiled. She picked up a turkey sandwich and placed it on her plate. by the way, how's little ringo? '' she asked about his little dog as she took a bite of her sandwich. She loved pets and planned to buy herself a parrot from her first salary.

ever since christian got home, he was in a rush to do things, so he had never noticed the empty pit at the bottom of his stomach. the sudden growl of his stomach made him realize how hungry he really was. reaching down, he put a hand over his stomach, looking up. christian went to protest, about to tell marnie that he had missed her more, but before he could answer, she was gone. sitting down at the table, christian tapped his fingers against the table, waiting for marnie to get done warming up their dishes. it had been a long day, but he was glad that he was here now. the reason he had been working so late was because an employee couldn't make it, so he had to take his place for the night. all it meant was some extra money in his pocket. "oh thank god, i'm starving," he said, before grabbing a sandwich and taking a huge bite. "ringo.. ah he's good. not pooping on the carpet anymore," he smiled. "anyways, where'd you go? and why were you crying?" he frowned slighty.

She was glad to see him. So much happy, she couldn't explain it. they had a good chemistry but for now, he was only a very close friend until now. '' Why are you so late today?'' she asked curiously while placing down the dishes and settling back into her chair. '' I know mister hungry bear, hence I cooked all this for you.'' she smiled and put some spaghetti on her plate and held a fork to start eating with it.She laughed as he told her about ringo. '' Good for you. I'm going to get myself a parrot that would talk to me all the time. She knew he would ask her that where she had gone so she had already prepared herself to answer that. '' I used to live with my best friend and her grandmother in my previous town. Her grandmother was very ill so I went off to help my friend take care of the old lady and last week she passed away..'' she shook her head. Marnie tried not to get anyone close to her emotionally and mentally but the old lady's death had a bad impact on Marnie but she tried to hide it. She never liked to look weak or be vulnerable. She had always been the tough girl on the outside, no matter how weak and broken down she was inside. Crying? dammit. He must have noticed her crying earlier. '' crying? who, me? I don't cry. '' she was good at pulling on the act of being the tough girl.

"late?" he looked up at her, wondering why she cared if he was late or not. it wasn't like she liked him, right? she told him before that she didn't believe in love, and since christian had never been in love, he couldn't exactly tell for himself, either. "well, i had to fill in for a guy who couldn't make work. his baby was about to be born," christian smiled. christian was the type of guy who loved little kids. when it came to babysitting, he loved every second of it. but not a lot of people knew that about him, it was something that he kept to himself. christian put a guard up, and not many people knew him for the real him. however, some people were lucky enough to get to know him, and marnie was one of them. "a parrot? bloody hell, i hate birds!" christian laughed a bit. taking a bite of his sandwich he chewed for a few moments before starting again. "you know, it's okay to cry. everyone cries." christian's eyes went up to meet marnie's. "it doesn't mean you're weak, you're only human." christian was never the best person at advice, or philosophy, but when it came down to it, he tried his best.

'' Yeah '' she nodded. It was eleven pm and usually if they were to have dinner together then it would be around maximum nine pm so if was late. 'I mean usually you are here around eight or maximum nine to do dinner and it's 11 pm right now. Time to sleep, not eat. '' she was very conscious about her beauty sleep. '' Ah that's nice. So missed me at work?'' she knew he missed her and she missed him more. When he told her that he hated bireds she rolled her eyes. '' And I don't really get it why you hate them when they are so soft and cute. You will have to be nice to my parrot or else. . . '' she glared at him, giving him the bossy look. '' I don't cry Christian. There must have been something in my eye. '' she denied to accept that she was crying. She hated to feel weak and vulnerable and allowing anyone to see her in such a state. '' Let's talk about something else. How about we play truth and dare and get to know each other in more detail. A week isn't enough to know you better, christian. '' she said, getting up and putting out a whiskey bottle from the nearby cabinet and put it down on the table. '' What do you think?'

christian was never a guy who needed a lot of sleep. four hours was enough sleep for him to function for a day, so he never knew why people were so anal to get so much sleep each night. "only eleven, what's wrong with staying up late?" he asked marnie. she seemed like the type of girl who liked to get her sleep. christian couldn't help but smirk when marnie asked him if he had missed her at work. of course he did. there was nothing else in the world he missed as much as he missed marnie when she was gone. "course i did," he smiled. chris shook his head slightly when marnie glared at him, telling him that he had to be nice to her parrot. however, he wasn't going to make any promises. and chris did what he wanted, he never let someone else take over. marnie knew that from the alan situation. "or else what?" chris needed to know what marnie would do to him if he didn't behave the way she wanted him to. and then she mentioned the crying. chris knew that she was crying, but she wanted to put on a tough girl act, so he was going to let her. "truth or dare, eh? sure, but you'll have to go first," he winked at marnie, taking another bite of his sandwich.

She loved sleeping. It was healthy to sleep. She really did enjoy being all lazy but sadly she couldn't be lazy at all. She had to baby sit and go to work, clean her house and cook for the two of them. Sleeping late wasn't in her book but today, it seemed like she was going to stay awake till late because tomorrow was a weekend. Two days off meant a lot of relaxation, sleep and fun. '' Only eleven? oh chris! What's not wrong in staying awake till late. it's unhealthy and plus I really do need my beauty sleep but for today, I can spare my beauty sleep for you'' she smirked, only flirting. It was a part of her nature. She brushed her hair out of her face and tugged it behind her ears. Work was only enjoyable to have him around. She was a chef and he was a waiter.Whenever he popped in to pick up the orders they would have little laugh and chats. he made work enjoyable for her, in fact he made everything full of fun for her with his brightness. He gave her the challenging look, asking her what would she do if he didn't treat her parrot nicely. She liked the challenge. She bit her lips. '' Don't you know I'm a vampire. If you don't listen to me, I shall bite you. '' she joked. She liked being bossy over everyone, it was a part of her character. She wanted t skip the 'crying' topic. She hated to look weak infront of anyone and so pulled out a whiskey bottle and placed it in the table. He told her that he had to go first and she nodded. Point at the top of the bottle she said, '' So if point at anyone of us, they get to choose whether they want dare or truth.'' she said and put aside the plates and dishes and spinned the bottle. The top of it pointed towards Marnie and the bottom of it pointed towards Chris. Marnie quickly ate up her sandwich and looked at him. '' I choose dare. '' she smirked. This was her favorite game. It would help them to get know each other better and do such really crazy things if they chose dare. This was going to be fun.

even when christian was a young boy, he had never wanted to sleep. when he was around his parents, back when he talked to them, they always had to try and bribe him into sleep. energy and curiosity was what kept christian up most of the time. chris smirked when marnie was flirting with him. one problem with chris was that he didn't know how to flirt. whenever he was around a girl he said the dumbest things, and he was pretty sure that's why no one ever wanted to be with him. no matter how hard he tried, usually he ended up saying something that ended in a grimace from the other girl. but he tried. "beauty sleep? you don't need beauty sleep. you could walk around in a trash bag and still be the prettiest girl on the block." chris had no idea if what he said would be a good or bad thing, but he was hoping that just once he said something that a girl seemed to like. chris shook his head slightly. "vampires aren't real, silly." chris didn't believe in any creature that wasn't human or an animal. twilight or harry potter was utter crap to him. being narrow minded to him was a good, and bad thing. chris watched marnie as she brought out a whiskey bottle, hoping that her intentions were not to drink the bottle of whiskey. chris never mixed with alcohol. he tried drinking once before, but it ended up with him throwing up all night, and ever since then he had been against drinking. as she spun the bottle, chris took another bite of his sandwich, swallowing quickly. "i bet you made that land on you! cheater!" he sarcastically exclaimed. "dare? this means i have to think of something completely and utterly gross for you to do."

According to marnie, chris was a too goody shoe. That wasn't a bad thing but she always wanted to see his bad side, or she him act a little evil, respond to her flirting and have some fun with her. He was a hot guy and she wanted him to take full advantage of his looks and play around with her like she did. There were a lot of nasty intentions and thoughts in Marnie's mind and if you ever came to know about them, you wouldn't think she was any good. Only her innocent face made her look good otherwise, without a family, she was taught no good manners. she laughed out listening to his comment. '' Trash bag? would never do that. but yes I know I'm the prettiest. '' she smirked. She was very conscious about her looks and proud of her good looks. There were no doubt she was a pretty girl, and the reason behind it was good sleep and healthy diet. '' But I can bite, real bad. '' she smirked again. Of course such creatures didn't exist in reality but who said they couldn't be used for jokes?
She didn't really have much plans of drinking tonight although she didn't mind drinking. for some, drinking was a bad habit but for marnie, it was neither bad nor good. She would drink when she felt like and the best part of life was that nobody told her what to do and what not to do. Life without a family was perfect. She spinned the bottle and the top of it pointed towards her. She had not done it on purpose. She raised her eye brows at him. '' I don't cheat.'' she said and settled comfortably in her chair waiting for him to come up with a dare. She hesitated at first when he asked if he could make her do anything completely and utterly gross. '' Oh, come'n no gross stuff please. I'm in a mood for some fun, don't spoil it. '' she said. She poured water in the glass and drank it. '' By fun I mean think about all the good things we can do. You've a good chance. '' she winked at him. Tonight was about endless flirting.

when chris made mistakes, he liked to hide them so that no one had any idea that he did something bad. he hated when people saw the bad side of him, and he liked everyone to see that he was a good, and a well rounded person. when people saw his weakness' he felt like that was all they would know him for. so, hiding things was something he tried to do. "maybe you should try it.. i mean, you'd look pretty hot," chris winked. there had been times when chris had seen marnie look pretty hot in some outfits, and he had to control himself. he liked her, and he knew that if they began kissing sometimes, things would come off. "oh yeah? prove it. bite me." chris smirked, wondering if marnie would actually bite him, but he was challenging her. he wanted to push her to see if she would actually come over and bite him. chris loved to push people to do things that they said they would do. why say it if you wouldn't really do it?
the only time chris would begin drinking again, is if he was depressed and didn't know what else to do with his life. chris took a glance at marnie for a moment when she wasn't looking, taking in her beauty. damn, she was beautiful, and chris was pretty sure that he was falling in love with her. chris debated on telling her his feelings all the time, but he didn't want it to end in a disaster. chris grinned. "i dare you to show me all the things you really want to do with me" he winked at marnie. this could go in a complete different direction than what him and marnie had been doing. chris had never told marnie all of the things he wanted to do to her sometimes, but he was sure that if he told her, then things may turn out in a bad way. chris finished off his plate, and made his way to the kitchen, setting his dish in the sink, after rinsing it off. filling his drink, he sat back down at the table, peering over at marnie. he took a sip of his drink, tapping his fingers on the cool table. chris cracked his knuckles, taking one more sip of his drink.

Chris was such a nice guy, oh boy, at times she couldn't take her eyes off him. He was crazy! he came up with the idea that she should walk around in trash bag and still look hot. She might just try it out for him. ''Okay, I might just try it out, for you. But what do I get in return?'' talka bout bargaining. She was always there to make a deal, even if there wasn't anything to make out about. He asked her to prove him and bite him. She laughed. Oh, so now he was in the game. She sat back, biting her lips, as her mind raced on to decide what she wanted to do. '' What if it hurts? You may not like it then.. '' biting was a bad idea. She was sure he was kidding himself. they were always ready to tease each other. flirting was fun, and harmless.
The dare he came up with was hilarious. There were like so many things on her mind, so many intention but so little time . She wasn't a saint, or an innocent person to think anything a good sense. Her mind would wander over to anything but good, that did give her a bad reputation but she let the devilish side slip out only once in a while, and in front of only few people. After all not everyone deserved to feel special. at least not by her. She watched him pick up the plate and go off to the kitchen. She sat back thinking how she was going to tackle this little bet. It was only a little bet, there was no freaking need to get tensed over it. She was sure she could handle it. As he sat back in his seat, she gave him the 'oh, watch out mister, you're in trouble' look and stood up before drinking water. She made her way over to him and sat in his lip, comfortably shifting herself down there. Her hand reached for his shirts button. Her finger unbuttoned his shirt first three buttons but then she stopped and stood up. She reached for the water bottle and poured down the water on his head, wetting his shirt, and ofcourse his hair.''That's one I wanted to do.'' she smirked. She ran her hands through his hair and messed them up. And then she leaned closer and whispered in his ear. '' And there is one more thing I'd like to do with you, which is..'' she leaned closer and gently bit his neck, giving him a hickey on his neck. Maybe biting wasn't really a bad idea after all. She liked it.
She moved back and stood up. She moved back to her chair. ''Well... your turn to spin the bottle.'' she tossed the bottle to him and waited for him to react. She knew she was really evil but the game just started.

what did she get in return? well chris had to think about this. there were a lot of things that he could do for her, but the thing was he didn't know exactly what he would do. however, there were a pair of gold boxers in his closet from a prank he played back in high school, and he was sure that they could come in handy. "i have these pair of gold boxers.. i am sure they could come in handy somehow." he winked. there were a lot of things that those boxers could make him do. for one, there was always the possibility that marnie would make him run somewhere in public while wearing them, which he would be fine with only if he didn't run into anyone that he knew. he didn't want to deal with the whole blackmail, or being made fun of thing. chris figured that blackmail was much worse than being occasionally joked about by a friend, however. "maybe i like it when it hurts," chris joked, looking over at marnie.
chris only let his naughty side come out with a few girls, though he was always a perv. if you said something to him, odds are he was most likely going to think of it in a dirty way before taking it seriously. chris wasn't sure if his little brother had picked that up from him, or if teddy was just a perv on his own. it was most likely a mix of both. before chris could say anything else, marnie was over to him, unbuttoning his shirt. he liked where this was going. however, it was quickly ruined when she poured water over his head, making sure to get him wet. "looks like i don't have to take a bath tonight," chris joked. there was no way he would go a day without showering, but it was always fun to joke, right? if there was one thing chris wasn't, it was a dirty person. chris often showered for the heck of it, out of boredom, and he was constantly cleaning his house. he practically freaked when ringo shed a hair. before chris could do anything else, marnie was giving him a hickey. chris let out a small moan, before looking up at marnie. chris had a weakness to people touching his neck. and when someone gave him a hickey, it just intensified it more.
chris then took the bottle, and spinned it, this time it landing on him. he smiled successfully. "i choose dare as well," he smirked. if it wasn't for chris wanting to seem like a tough guy, he would have picked truth. he hated doing dares.
