Depressed. Savannah was depressed. She sat at the foot steps of the cafe. She pulled up her sleeve and looked at the bruises on her arms. There were scars left by the nails digged in by her step brother while he was dragging her out of the house. She sighed, tears rolling down her eyes. She was kicked out of the house once again. That wasn't something new. every time she got in an argument of any member of her house, they would beat the shit out of her, throw her stuff out of the house and kick her out. Her step mother wasn't at home when she got in a fight with her step sisters and they started to throw her things out of the house. When Savannah tried to stop them, their brother showed up and started to misbehave with Savannah. Then they started to beat her, hit her and threw her out of the house. She didn't bother to back in and went to the cafe, where she could listen to some music, which was her best friend. She wasn't just not listening to music but also chatting with her friends online and Matt was one of them who asked her to come over to which she rejected. As he asked her again and again, her shut him up with a harsh comment and logged out. And after paying at the counter, she came out to sit down at the foot steps. Luckily she had enough money to survive for a few days but no place to go. As much as she wanted to go back home, she wasn't willing to just yet. She will return back at night, she decided and beg her mother for step mother to take her in because if she didn't go back then firstly her father wouldn't be pleased to know that Savannah moved out, and she never wanted to upset her father no matter how much pain she had to bear. She loved him so much she couldn't bear to see him upset and she knew that her step siblings would fit in shit into her father's head, tell him lies as to why Savannah left and secondly, she had no place to go. She did earn a good pay but it wasn't enough for her to afford an apartment of her own or anything. So sticking to her house was the best.

She was rude to Matt. She shouldn't have been a bitch to him. He was such a nice guy, and her only good friends, who cared for her. She could see it in his eyes and she appreciated it. She had to apologize for being so rude. She got in her car and made her way towards his house. Parking her car, in the lott she stopped out and knocked at the door. She lips was bleeding. She was so used to pain that she didn't realize that and entered in the house as he opened the door. '' Matt. I'm so sorry, for being such a bitch towards you. '' she said with an apologetic look.

Matt slammed his lap top close all he wanted to be was be nice to Savannah, and offer her a place to come hang out. Matt had just got home from practice so after getting of his computer he walked into his bathroom to get a shower. It had been a long day all Matt had been doing for the past three weeks was go to two a days, and then come home to another work out with his dad the he ate dinner and went to bed, But today Matt had the evning off his dad was taking the night shift, his mom was also taking the night shift at the hospital. Matt got out of the shower, and pulled on his basketball shorts before he could pull a shirt on the door bell rang.

Matt ran down his steps to the door it was normal for anyone to come right into Matts house so someone that wrong the door bell hadnt been to his house much Matt opened the door and to his surprise it was Savannah. Matt was still kind of angry, but when he seen the way she looked he knew something was wrong all she told him was her step mom kicked her out but by the way she looked he knew that wasnt the hole story. After she walked in Matt let the door close behind her, and turned to look at her. '' Its ok every one gets mad when they are said there is no reason to say sorry.''


Matt looked around the house the pulled Savannah up the steps to his room and said '' Come one i will show you my room, and plus i need to find a shirt.'' Matt got to him romm and said " Sit down Savanahh anywhere is fine.'' Matt Turned to look at Savannah and thats when he noticed it blood coming from her lips Matt walked over to her, and said '' Who did this to you Savannah, and i want you to tell me the truth dont lie?'' Matt balled his fist up someone had hurt his friend and he wasnts the type to let stuff like that happen.

As the door opened there stood Matt, but he was half naked, as in shirtless and his body looked wet, like he was freshly out of shower. He smelled good too. She looked away once she noticed he was shirtless. '' I was really a bitch towards you. I was in a bad mood.'' she said as she walked in, shutting the door behind. She had never been into his house before so this was the first time. He did bring her over one day but before they could enter in her step mother called her and asked her to get back home. So she knew his house address and was there at his door to apologize. When Matt said he needed to find his shirt she nodded. '' Ah, I'm really getting used to see you like this all the time.'' she said. When they first met, he was shirt less and even now.

He asked her who had done this to her and she was confused what he was talking to about. '' What?'' she asked with a quizzical look that was when she realized the blood as she touched at the corner of her lips with her finger. Oh god! How could she not know that! '' Oh this is nothing. I just fell. and...'' she tried lying but it wasn't working out. She sat back and shook her head off. She pulled up her sleeves and showed him the scars and the bruises. '' They beat me. .. abuse me and torture me '' she sighed. '' Dont worry about me. I'm a tough girl.'' she pulled on the fake smile.

Matt put Savannah's hands in his, and looked at her arms and then back to her face he was so pissed at this point he wanted to drive to Savannah's house and drag her step brother out of the house by his head and beat the crap out of him. Matt pulled her into a hug he didn't know what else to do.'' Its still not right Savannah I cant just let this happen to you.'' Matt was still hugging Savannah it felt so good just to hold her in his arms it calmed him down, and he was sure it calmed Savannah down. He really didn't know what else to do he had never been in this situation.

Matt picked Savannah up squeezing her he started to lose balance and fell on his bed with Savannah in his arms. Matt let go of her as soon at the hit the bed he didn't want her to be uncomfortable he looked at her and said '' You can stay with me Savannah we have a guest room my parents wont care. I promise i don't like that they do that to you so please come stay with me.'' Matt and Savannah where still on the bed together and it felt so good to just be laying there without worrying about anything.

Matt let out a sigh then looked back to Savannah and said'' I know its weird laying here with me half naked, but if i can ask one thing will you please just lay here with me for a little. Matt brushed Savannah's hair to the side so he could see her beautiful eyes.

Savannah had never showed anyone her bruises and scars. She didn't like talking about her family. But around Matt it felt so different, she felt like she could tell him anything, share any of her secret with and be just herself, without the fear that he wouldn't accept as herself. A lot of people thought she was weird which is why she distanced herself away from everyone. Matt hugged her and she hugged him back, tightly.'' Don't worry 'bout me.'' that was all she could manage to say. Seeing her bruises would make it known to him that why she was so suicidal.

Matt picked her up and she didn't know why he did that but as he lost her balance they fell on the bed and she lay on the top of him but she quickly moved off, turning to his side. Her hair covered her face and he brushed them off. When he pointed out that it was weird to be laying next to him half naked, she pulled herself up. It was really not very comfortable. '' Matt I need to use the bathroom. '' she stood up and ran out of his room. She didn't know where the washroom was and started to look around. When she found it she entered and washed her face, trying to calm herself down. She wasn't used to get closer to anyone, she was so knew to it.

She walked out of the bathroom and back into the room. While passing by she found his shirt and picked it up. He sat in front of him and she tossed him his shirt. '' You might want to pull this one..only then I'll lay down'' she said. And sat next to him. Okay, this was stupid but she felt much comfortable than before. '' You know, at times I really want to kill myself.. I'll get rid of all the pain I've to suffer.

When savannah came back into his room and threw him a shirt he put it on and layed there on his bed waiting for her to lay back down on the bed. Matt looked at Savannah and said'' I really don't like that they do that to you savannah, and i also dont like that you want to end your life I want you to be able to talk to me about stuff. I also want you to know that if you ever need a place to stay or anything im here.'' He sat up in the bed looking at her in the eyes Matt was fighting back tears he was so mad he was actually about to cry. He put his head on Savannah shoulder then said'' I feel really comfortable around you Savannah, and i know its a little weird but I want you to feel comfortable around me.''

Matt sat there looking at Savannah he put his arm around savannah's waist and pulled her closer to him hugging her, All Matt wanted to do was hold her in his arms and let her know that he was here for her.'' Can we just talk about it i promise its safe with me if you dont want me to tell anyone i wont tell, But you dont have to tell me its ok.'' Matt rubbed her side, and then layed back down patting beside him motioning for her to lay down also so they could talk more. Matt really didn't know what to say because all he could think about was going to her house, and beating her step brother up, because he knew that Savannah would get it worse if he did anything so it want fare to her.

As he kept talking, his words kept running through her mind and she thought about it. Moving in with him wasn't a bad idea. He was her best friend and she trusted him so there wasn't anything wrong moving in his house. But what will her father think when he would come to know that she was moving out of the house and moving in with some random guy? he wouldn't be pleased at all. She had told her dad a long time ago that as soon as she turned into an adult she was going to get herself an apartment of her own and move out of her house. Her dad gave her the permission to do but she didn't have enough money to afford an apartment. So moving out of her own house wasn't going to be a problem. But moving in with Matthew could be a problem, because he was a boy, and she knew her step mother and step siblings would cook up sick stories to fill in her dad's ear and she didn't wanted to disappoint her dad. Maybe she didn't needed to tell them that she was moving in with a boy. A little lie could be harmless. She could say she found a good place at rent. that could work.

Her attention was held by hers and she moved over and laid next to him. This was their first time to cuddle. He put his arm around her waist and pulled her closer and she turned around to look at him. She looked him in the eyes and smiled. '' I feel a lot comfortable around you Matt. In fact I feel like in front of you I don't have to be someone else. I don't have to pretend around you. '' he accepted her for who she was. '' I need some time to think about it Matt. I need to talk to my dad, give him a good excuse for moving out. But I'll keep the offer in my mind. '' she was so glad he was her friend. '' But. . If I were to move in, what would Talia think? '' she didn't know whether Talia would like it or not but she had a feeling that Talia wouldn't because most girlfriends wouldn't.

Matt pulled Saviee closer to him and smiled at her Matt hadn't been this close to a girl in forever, and he wanted to just lay there and not do anything besides talk to her. " I feel comfortable around you too Saviee, and you really shouldn't have to act different around me or anyone I like you for you and you really cant change anything about that Savvie.'' Matt tightened his arms around Saviee. Matt was at a lose for words just laying here not caring about anything else. '' Ok well if you ever need a room i have a couple that you could stay in, So just take your time thinking about it there isn't any rush.'' Matt grabbed some pillows from the top of his bed, and put them under his head then patted the side of them and motioned for Saviee to lay her had on the pillow's.

Matt hadn't thought about what Talia would say he really didn't think about she would mind, but it could all change in the matter of minutes and he knew he would have to tell her if he lied it would ruin every thing he had with Talia. Matt looked Saviee in the eyes and said " I don't know what she will say, but I think she will understand that you need a place.'' Matt would still let Saviee stay even if Talia didn't like it because he couldn't just let her stay in that house. Matt winked at Saviee and stuck his tongue out at her making a funny face then said '' Saviee I really like you, and i feel like I can be normal around you I just want you to know that.''
