after ryder had dropped his two little kiddies off at his aunts house, he rushed back to his house to change and finish getting ready for his date with millie. he rushed as fast as he could into his house, and up to his room as fast as he could. he changed into his plain white tshirt band tshirt, and his faded jeans. as he walked out the door, he slipped his feet into his nikes, and grabbed his keys and went out the door. his heart was racing at hundred miles per hour. he had only know millie for about a month, and for some reason, between all the times he saw her at the day care, the chats on line, he really had started to like her. he knew that somewhat liking someone else would be a problem for his life. ever since nicole came bargen into his life...things had gotten messy in his life. he turned the car on, and then backed it up, and drove out of his drive way.
the movie threater was about a fifteen minute drive. which to him wasn't that bad. i mean to get to work was an hour drive, since he worked at the end of the town, and lived on the other side of the town. his work was basically almost out of lipton. i mean, leave it to his uncle to make his garage at the border of lipton. he sighed heavly as he pulled into the parking lot. his movie was about about six fifteen, and it was five thirty now. He was hoping that millie would be showing up any minute now. He unblucked his seat, but stayed in his car. he reached for the radio, turning it down, and then grabbed his cell phone. he flipped it up, and then texted millie.
' hey i'm waiting outside the threater. the movies at six fifteen. i'll go get the tickets for us, and then we can split for snacks and refreshments. see you soon, cutie".
ryder hit send, and then slipped his phone into his pocket. he stared at the picture of his kids, and then shut off his car, and stepped out. he walked forward up to the door of the movie threater. he opened the door, and walked in. he scanned the area and then decided on the line to the far left, for it was moving faster then the others. once he stepped in line, it was a ten minute wait. as the line shortened, he got more anxious. ryder hadn't been on a date in about two years...and the last one was nicole, and they were dating. so techinically it was no reason to be scared. he ordered the tickets for ' abducted' and then payed the twenty two charge for the two tickets.
once the tickets were in his hand, and he had giving the money, he stepped to the side and, and then scanned the area for millie. he slipped his phone opening, hoping that she had answered him.

Millie was going on a date, and not to seem conceited but she’d had quite a bit of practice, however this was her first official date in the US of A. Back in England Millie was pretty popular, she was in a girl group and most of the guys at her school had asked her out at least once, don’t get me wrong, she hadn’t said yes to most of them but she liked to give guys a chance she went on many a first date. Today though seemed a bit different, this wasn’t a chance to get to know Ryder because she already knew him pretty well, they went to school together and Millie saw his kids all the time, it was odd really but she was looking forward to it. Millie was going to be late but it wasn’t her fault, she looked through her wardrobe for something to put one whilst on her bed sat two little girls, Elie and Marta. The brunette had been babysitting but the girls were supposed to have been collected half an hour ago, so Millie had to get ready whilst looking after the youngsters. She got changed into a denim shorts with tights underneath and a soft comfy shirt, she wasn’t going too glam, it was only the movies. The girl straightened her hair so it was in her trademark bob with the fringe swept across her forehead.
Just as she was finishing putting on her makeup her phone bleeped and she opened it to find a message from Ryder stating that he was already at the theatre, the girl grew anxious and quickly hit reply, “I’ll be with you as soon as possible but Leanne still hasn’t picked up Marta and Elie, she should have been here 45 minutes ago” she pressed send and threw her iPhone back on the bed next to Marta who immediately began to play Fruit Ninja. Millie grabbed her bag and starting putting in the things she would need, purse, phone and lipgloss. She felt bad that she was going to be late but there wasn’t much she could do, she’d rang Leanne three times but to no avail and she couldn’t exactly leave the kids in the house alone. Millie was beginning to despair but then the doorbell rang and Millie ran downstairs with the little girls in tow, the mother apologised and quickly paid Millie before hurrying back to the car with Millie close on her heels. The brunette locked the door before climbing into her turquoise mini and heading straight to the theatre.
She parked relatively close and walked in as fast as she could; she slowed as she reached the doors and looked around for Ryder, spotting him by the ticket booth. The girl smiled and bee-lined towards him, “I’m so sorry, she’s only just picked them up and I couldn’t exactly leave them” she explained knowing that the boy would understand as he had two children of his own. Millie loved that about him, she thought it showed something, that a guy would pick up the slack when his girlfriend left their two kids. Millie adored kids but at a young age she’d been told she couldn’t have them, she’d have to adopt or have a surrogate, for Millie everything involving having a kid would have to be planned, it wouldn’t just spontaneously happen. The news had changed Millie though, she knew she’d want to adopt one day and so that made her calculate everything she did, she didn’t want them to find a reason to not give her a child. She’d heard of people not being able to adopt because they’d done something ten or twenty years ago, so Millie made sure she had nothing for them to find.

as soon as ryder felt the vibration of his phone, he reached down to his pocket, and slipped his hand into it grabbing his phone and pulled it out. he slid it up and read the text that millie had sent him. he nodded to himself, and texted her back saying " okay that's fine." he knew exactly how that was, because he himself had been late more than once to pick up his own children, and had someone late to come get them for him. he sighed, as he put his phone back into his pocket. waiting... was something that ryder used to hate with every bone in him, but ever since he had kaylee and bently he sort of got used to waiting. everything in his life was a waiting game. he sighed, as he looked around the area. he really hated standing here, sort of looking like a loner.
but as soon as he saw millie walk into the door, a sly smile formed on his mouth, and he seemed to be better. yes, now he didn't seem like a loner. he seemed like a ladies man. he looked at her, eyeing her slightly everywhere, and then once she reapologized for the tad lateness, he nodded. he really understood, since he had two children himself. he looked at her, gave her a sweet smile and said" well, are you ready to see a movie then? i know i am." he looked at her, and then said" and it's just fine. i really understand, had that happen to me more than once." he looked at her, and smiled. ryder was always happy to see millie. she was always so calm , and understanding. she had things together, she loved his kids, and they loved her. it was something that he liked in a woman.

She smiled as she read his text and headed straight to the movie theatre, parking in the most convenient space and tottering towards the theatre in her high bright pink heels, Millie was pretty short and Ryder stood a good few inches above her, which was why she relied on heels to bring them anywhere near each other. Millie only wore flats to school and work, whenever she was out and about she wore heels, whether she was going shopping or heading on a date to the movies, her shoe wardrobe was pretty large needless to say. She hated how small she was but it came in useful when looking after the children, she didn’t have to bend down as often which meant her back was in a lot better condition that her 6”2 colleague’s. She was the shortest out of her band-mates too which meant she always wore heels when around them, but it also made her the baby of the group, which wasn’t a surprise because she was the youngest in the group of girls.
The brunette watched as a smile flooded her face and she echoed it back, feeling really happy to see him, and she was glad he seemed to feel the same way too. She nodded when he asked if she was ready for the movie, “born ready” she said with a large smile, her English accent incredibly noticeable. Millie loved her accent but it did make her stand out and sometimes that wasn’t the greatest thing. She nodded again as the boy said that he understood, she knew he would and as sorry as she was she knew that there was nothing she could do to prevent it, it was the girl’s mum that was at fault, not Millie. Millie was a pretty relaxed person, one of the few things that drove her mad was people calling her Millicent, but other than that it took a while to rub her up the wrong way, she tended to let things slide. a smirk grew up on his face once she made the slick remark back to what he had said about being ready to see the movie. he looked at her and then said " well, i know i want some soda, but other than that, no snacks. after this movie, i am taking you for a treat, millie." ryder had a way with the woman. maybe it was because he was brought up to treat them like princesses or maybe it was because he was just a plain old sweetheart. but whatever it was, he seemed to always treat his ladies like they were gold. which to him, they were.
he looked at her, being close in all but not enough to touch her. he never crossed that line, unless the lady had said too, or put that out there. he never wanted to be rude, or rush a girl. he smiled at her, and then added " i'm sure you will like this treat, as well. " he looked at her, eyeing every part of her. millie was stunning, that was for sure. she was a sweet girl as well, that loved ryder's little ones. which was always a plus in his book. he difently could be with her, but, what would nicole have to say this? once he thought of that, his mind brought himself right back to nicole. nicole drove him crazy, in many ways. then of course, he shook his head trying to get her out of his head as fast as she had arrived. he didn't need her to spoil this date in any way or form.

She smiled as he smirked at her at her ‘witty’ comeback, it was very unoriginal but sometimes Millie couldn’t be bothered to think up her own lines. Her smile widened as he said she wasn’t to have any snacks because he was treating her afterword, “whatever you say Mr Stok” she said with a small salute, she was just messing with him, she was very appreciative of the way he treated her. Millie wasn’t very good with being looked after, she liked to split the check and not feel dependent, it wasn’t that she was someone who didn’t want attention, she just found the whole idea of being looked after quite difficult to cope with.
AJ nodded as he said that he was sure she’d like her treat, “I’m sure I will” she said with a smile but in reality the brunette hated surprises. She had been six when her mom surprised her with a birthday party but AJ had cried when they all jumped out from behind the chairs. It got worse, she then became embarrassed that she’d cried in front of her friends so she sat in her room for the duration of the party, it wasn’t a great day. Since then AJ had avoided surprises whenever she could but she was sure this one would be fine, there wasn’t going to be anyone jumping out and no clowns, we’ll save the clown story for another time. AJ liked spending time with Ryder, he was a sweet boy that really seemed to care for her, plus he already had kids which lessened AJ’s guilt. She struggled to have relationships with guys because she knew she couldn’t give them kids, and it broke her heart every time she thought about it.
