a girls day out sounded amazing. a girls day out and getting your nails done was even better. it had been awhile since faith had gotten her nails done. she'd been busy trying to get things done, and for the most part, she had some boy issues that she had been trying to get through. the other day faith had been on a date, with her best friend, and now she was just confused. getting out for a bit and not worrying about it was her best option at the moment. thinking about it was driving her insane. so what faith did was ask her friend steph if she wanted to go and get her nails done with her, and when she agreed faith immediately got happy.

pulling on a cute shirt, and a pair of shorts and flats, she grabbed her bag, making her way out to her car. faith was to pick steph up, and then they'd make their way to get their nails done. she wasn't sure whether steph wanted to go to the mall to get them done, or if she wanted to go to the nail place in a plaza, and then go out and do something afterwards. either way was fine with faith, after all there wasn't much else she had to do today. she was using today as a time to relax. no school work, no drama, and nothing to bother her or get in her of having fun. turning on the radio in her car, she turned up the song and pulled out of her driveway, onto her road. heading towards the direction of her friends house, she began singing to herself loudly, laughing at how dorky she was being. turning onto another road, she switched the station, trying to find another good song, since the song that she had liked was now over. one more turn, and she'd be on steph's road.

one thing she liked about steph, was that she lived kind of close. it wasn't walking distance, but it surely wasn't a long drive, and whenever she needed steph, she could drive to her house or steph could come to hers. pulling into steph's driveway, faith turned down her radio, honked the horn, and waited for steph to come out of her house. looking around her car, faith began looking for her sunglasses, so that she could drive without the sun in her eyes the whole time.

Stephanie threw her hair back in a ponytail as she tried to find her shoes. The last place she had thrown her sandals had been under her bed, and she had already found one under there. She brushed around, and finally felt the felt flower from the sandal. Yes! She smiled and brought it out. Wiping her hands on the side of her Khaki shorts, she stood up and leaned against her desk to put the shoe on. After a quick glance in the mirror, she straightened her floral tank and fixed the flowers on her white sandals. Her silver bangles clanged together as she made her way quickly to the kitchen.

Fixing her hair again she made a small glass of water to drink along with her vitamins. She wondered how Faith was doing, as Faith’s friend Steph felt compelled to help her as much as possible. Her friend was confused about a boy, and that was the worst think to be confused about. Stephanie knew trouble very well, and it could be very awful. Stephanie had agreed to get her nails done because well, one her friend needed it, and two because it was just always fun. Relaxation is what Steph needed, and wanted.

Stephanie was far into her thoughts when Faith pulled up, and almost fell from her seat when she heard the car horn. Quickly she grabbed her bag from the counter, and took her phone off the charger. She turned off the lights as she went, and finally stepped out of the town house. She quickly locked the door and made her way to Faiths car. She pulled down her sunglasses as she walked, it was super bright out. She smiled hugely and waved to Faith in a comedic fashion, and then she jumped into the car. She sat down and put her small shoulder purse on the floor. “ Hey Faith! How are you?” Stephanie smiled and repositioned her glasses.

faith put the sunglasses on her face, looking in her rear view mirror, and fixed her hair. no matter where she was, she hated looking bad. even when she was with her friends just hanging out, she tried to make herself look perfect. it was a bad habit of hers, one that she wished that she could break. another habit of hers was biting her nails, which was why going out and getting her nails done was a very good choice on what to do. faith pulled her phone out of her pocket, quickly responding to a message her friend had sent her, before she was out on the road. if there was one thing that faith didn't do, it was texting while driving.

faith smiled as her friend jumped into her car. faith had a pretty nice car for her age, it got her where she needed to go without breaking down all the time. there was only one breakdown that she had faced, and it was because she ran out of gas. totally her fault, and totally embarrassing. "i'm great! how are you? and dominic?" faith giggled as she brought up the topic of dominic. faith knew how much stephanie liked, or loved dominic. and to faith, he was a great guy. he was friends with teddy, so that automatically meant that she liked him. teddy was an amazing guy, faith's best friend. without him she was pretty sure she wouldn't be anywhere.

putting the car in reverse, faith headed out of her friends driveway, onto another road, and then onto a busy street. if there was one thing faith hated about driving, it was being on busy streets with people who weren't paying attention. faith sighed softly, taking a sip from her water bottle that was beside her. "so do you want to go get your nails done at the mall, or at the plaza?" faith asked. there was still a bit of way until faith was at either of them, but she was asking in advance.

Stephanie blushed, thinking of Dominic. She smiled, and almost got lost in her own thoughts but she shook her head mentally. “ Good, I’m good he’s good, were both good.” Stephanie giggled; she was an utter dork when it came to Dominic sometimes. Nodding she looked at Faith questioningly. “ How are you and Teddy” Stephanie raised her eyebrows and glasses in a joking matter. She knew how Faith felt about Teddy, and from Dominic and online chatting, she had an idea about how Teddy felt. The two made a perfect couple, but for someone reason the two only wanted to be friends.

Watching Faith back out of the driveway, Steph watched for cars on her side. Stephanie hated driving, she was always scared to. She had gotten her driving license by being super cautious, and her driver’s ed person was an old cat lady. “ Which one is further away? I want to spend as much time possible not in my house today. “ Stephanie was super tired of being stuck in her house all the time, even if it was with a roommate instead of parents. She gently put her hand on Faith’s arm, “ Trust me, you need to get far away for a while too” She smiled and patted her friend before sighing and removing her hand. She clicked her seat belt, and leaned back in her seat.

Life could be super difficult for teenagers, the older you got the worst. Stephanie was glad to get away, for even five minutes. While she was spending time with Faith she was not going to think about the things stressing her out, like school and her parents. Stephanie couldn’t turn her phone off in case of a emergency, but she probably would ignore any calls and text for the time being. Smiling, she looked out the window as they passed a small farm. “ This is going to be so much better than doing nothing.” Stephanies plans for the day probably would have been practicing the guitar, and sleeping. So anything was better, doing something with a friend that was fun was just a total plus.

faith smiled as she heard that both of her friends were doing good. obviously, faith knew steph more, being the fact that they were both girls and bonded over girl things. there was no way that faith could bond with teddy or dom over getting their nails done. however, faith thought that her liking teddy, and steph being with dom was quite convenient. when faith was hanging with steph, teddy could be with dom. then they could easily balance between love and friends. "we're good.." she trailed off before starting again. "i mean, i have a feeling we'll get together, i'm just not sure yet.." faith continued, looking at the road as she spoke. she then stopped at a stop light and sighed a little. there were just some things about driving she didn't like, and stopping was one of them.

"okay, plaza it is." faith said, heading in the direction that she needed to go in. then steph put her arm on faith and told her that she needed a break. truth was, she did need a break. at home she had been dealing with her pregnant sister, who could definitely be moody at times. faith was sure that when the baby could she would help her sister as much as she could, but sometimes she would have to go stay at a friends house, or teddy's house. "i know i do," she sighed softly to herself. "sometimes it's just hard to find a break, ya know?" she was pretty sure that steph understood where she was coming from.

"yes it is! if i was home i'd probably just lay there and watch tv all day, but i don't really want to that." faith had given up on homework awhile ago. she still got it done, however she didn't put her all into it. this upset her parents, but there wasn't much she could do about it. faith had no idea what she was going to college for, but she really loved acting, so she was hoping that she could land something, or take classes at an acting department. ever since she was a young girl she enjoyed running around acting like other people. faith kept driving down the road she was on, looking around at things she was passing, but making sure to keep paying attention. "i just want school to be over."
