LOVE ME LIKE YOU LOVE THE SUN
scorching the blood in my vampire heart
Lamerith, or Lilith as Viktor called her, made her way down to the old graveyard where they'd started meeting up. The full moon overhead did nothing to break up the darkness of the old path she was walking on. She knew she had to look quite odd walking towards a graveyard, not only this late in the night but dressed in the victorian-style fashion he loved so much. Lilith, as she now had to refer to herself since she'd be in his presence soon, was currently wearing a blood red colored skirt lined with black crinoline at the bottom, a black corset, and black boots that laced up with red laces. Her vivid red-auburn hair was down and done up in loose curls about her shoulders.
In terms of makeup and accessories she currently wore blood red nail polish and blood red eyeshadow rimmed in heavy eyeliner to bring out her green-gray eyes. Blood red lipstick was gently smoothed over her lips and white face powder make her skin look even more pale than usual. She had in a pair of large black cross earrings, a vampire fang ring, the silver ring Viktor had given her with a blood red stone, showing she was currently his favorite, and a necklace with a vial of Viktor's blood in it. She was a sight for those who didn't know her, most people figuring her a devil worshiper. In reality the only person she worshiped was Viktor Detherage, her creator.
Lilith made her way down the stone pathway leading to the fence of the graveyard. The graves were well kept but everyone know the old man who cared for them was never in the guard shack as he went home whenever it got dark. Certain groups of people in Lipton were highly supersticious, especially of the 'things that go bump in the night'. Lillith ran her tongue over her fangs as she slipped carefully through the gate. Her boots made a dull thud on the ground as she made her way to the small area of graves and a mausoleum where they normally sat. She perched herself on the edge of the mausoleum, enjoying the breeze that whispered through the graveyard.
After waiting several more minutes she walked to a grave that looked as though it hadn't seen visitors in a long time. She remembered Viktor calling her soft towards humans, that she cared too much about them. She brushed off the warning and kneeled just beside the grave, pulling the weeds from around it and brushing the dust from the headstone. She read the name and did the Catholic sign of the cross, her blue eyes gazing at the moon as she bowed her head once and stood up.
She walked around to a few more graves repeating the routine before kneeling in front of one that really upset her. The grave stated the child had died the same day it was born and yet it seemed no one had come to visit it, the grave not being many years old. She remembered the day she had lost a child, she'd been just eighteen. And the baby couldn't survive and aborted itself four months in. It took until she found Viktor to get over it. She wondered where he was at, still kneeling as she was by the grave.
