Tony was Salem's boyfriend at the time his mother found them and kicked Salem out. Shortly after Tony left Salem saying he didn't love him any more (though in truth it was because he was hiding his heroin habit). He has since had little to no contact with Salem. He shoots heroin because he was molested by his mother's boyfriend as a child and is trying to forget the memories. He is a full blown addict and has no intentions of changing. He is still in love with Salem but is ashamed of his addiction.

Jareth is Salem's mutual crush and pretty much his best friend. He and Salem aren't dating because Jareth is scared to be loved and panics whenever it's brought up. He can't let anyone love him after a boy broke his heart during his Junior year of high school. Eventually they'll be a couple though for now it's mutual crushing.

Mae is Salem's best friend and keeping the biggest secret of the bunch. Mae was born a boy but after much psychotherapy her mother got Mae's total sex change done by fourteen. She has lived as Mae both mentally and physically rather than Macon for the last four years though has always known she was born the wrong gender. She is Salem's rock and the total opposite in how perky, outgoing, and stubborn she is.
