Okay, so Lucas needs two characters to really get him going. In brief, Lucas is your typical guy. He enjoys going out and drinking with his friends, he is extremely sarcastic in nature but he always means well. He is the best friend type, someone you can come to with your problems. He is considered a ladies man, but its only for the sheer fact that he is hiding his true sexuality.
I need:
a male love interest / boyfriend: Lucas knows there is two sides to this town, the straight guys and the females. This makes it extremely easy for him to keep his secret hidden. What if a new guy comes to town, a gay guy, who is open about his sexuality and puts the pressure on Lucas? They could form a relationship that he'll try and keep hidden but the guy could want 'all of him, or none of him'. I don't care who the play by is either, as long as they look cute together ha ha.
a best friend: someone that knows Lucas inside and out. someone he has grown up with an is exceptionally close too. It can be a boy or a girl, preferably a girl because he relates better with females. They have to know about his secret, and at least be okay with it when they are around him (if they are uncomfortable with it and want to keep it on a 'don't ask, don't tell' its cool too). I don't care who the play by is, but it would be great.
This would help me out quite a bit, and I'd appreciate it! (: |

Hey, I've got Alice here who'd love to be Lucas's bff (just kidding). She'd be totally cool with him being a closeted homosexual, and while she won't try to play matchmaker, she's the type to leave cryptic messages disguised as private jokes between the two of them, encouraging him to 'man up and come out'. Alice also thinks Lucas would make a great case study for her graduation thesis P: |

That sounds perfect actually. It could cause more tension between him if he thinks that she befriended him only for her graduation thesis, even if she is really in it for his friendship...so that can provide some good story lines. I'm fine with them being bffs though xD. I think the more pressure she puts on him to 'man up' is perfect because it'll almost force him to come out of the closet. |

I'm glad you approve! Poor Lucas is subject to going from friend to lab rat to friend again in a minute or so. And Alice might just try to bribe him with a particularly tantalising offer (like a week in Jamaica or something) if he comes out before she's done with her thesis, haha. |
