Teddy has been living with his uncle since he was five, the people around him assume his parents died when he was young. In reality, they're both in prison for a murder. Teddy is often reckless, though he knows his limits. He's sarcastic and revels in a self-deprecating humour. If you can't make fun of yourself, then you probably won't get along with Teddy. He flirts with girls - a lot - and gets himself into a lot of trouble by getting involved with a fair amount of them. He's often seen at parties enjoying a life not made for someone his age. Underneath it all lies a deep concern that he will become his parents, and a secret that's chipping away at him.[/ul][/size]

Westie and his family have been living in Lipton for the past two years, and Westie has just started college here. He is working towards becoming a doctor, and as such he is studying biology. Westie is intelligent and he rarely hides this fact - he goes out when he can but rarely affords it. He works at weekends and pays rent to his often insufferable mother. He lives at home, though he is looking to move out. His three older brothers live together not too far away. He's sociable and always looking to make friends. He has his hotheaded moments. As for girls, he believes in platonic friendships with the fairer sex, but is prone to sleeping with friends and engages in one night stands when slightly drunk.[/ul][/size]

Alys has just started work at Lipton High School as an English teacher, newly qualified. She is deeply caring and enjoys being around people. She takes an avid interest in the welfare of her students and takes the time to listen to them. She's terribly insecure about herself, having been called a 'mistake' by her mother. She rarely sees her father, and her younger sister has been missing for two years after disappearing with her ex. Alys is looking to start a new life and continue to prove her mother wrong.[/ul][/size]

Aoife is a headstrong and intransigent girl, who has been known as the Lipton school bully for a long time. She is prone to casually sleeping with people and ignores any kind of 'emotion', believing it to be a weakness. Her inability to behave has resulted in her sleeping rough quite a few nights, as she has a tedious relationship with her father. People would like to think that underneath it all, Aoife is lovely and insecure, but really she's just cold all the way through. She has a soft side to her, but you will probably never get to see it. She has recently tried to change her ways, attempting to be less of a bully around school. [/ul][/size]

Oz was born in Ireland and has lived his entire life being surrounded by people. Now, however, he has moved to Lipton with his brother to avoid falling further into gangs and wayward behaviour. Oz is a drug-dealer, an occasional drug user and spends a lot of his time getting himself (and everyone around him) into a great deal of trouble. His brother went to prison for him on charges of drug possession and intent to sell, drugs which belonged to Oz. He is fairly heartless and cares little for anyone, although he does make some exception for his brother, who he has always looked up to.[/ul][/color][/size]

Sophia&Oz- Sophia is bit of a rebel at heart, and used to take pills so she would sleep off her depression. Perhaps these to somehow become friends?

Aidric&Theodore- Aidric used to live in Lipton and has recently come back. Maybe they were friends before Aidric moved?

That sounds great! Westie is looking to move out, so we could say he meets with Millie for a kind of informal housemate meeting before they agree to move in. I could see them becoming good friends. Westie? Living with two English babes? Oh, the horror! (;

I can definitely see them flirting, but Westie would be reluctant to try anything more because of the child. It's not because he's scared off by the idea of the child, he just wouldn't to get involved and then find out he can't take the heat of it all. Westie was raised by a man who wasn't his real father, so he does have respect for the idea that it can be done.
