" Well I was born somewhere in China. I have been told that my birth mother was a prostitute and my birth father was well not there. My mother had to give me up at birth for one reason or another. So I was put up for adoption. Kind of humiliating if you ask me…

I was adopted by a couple that lived in Busan South Korea. They are my mother and father now. My mother was from California and my father was from Seoul. My parents already had two sons who were adopted. My mother is a teacher and my father is a plastic surgeon. I guess you could say we are pretty well off.

Despite having parents that spoke Korean and English fluently I did not know Korean until I entered school at the age of six. My younger sister was the same way but, I taught her as much Korean as I could. I did not know Korean because my mother and father only spoke English around me. They only spoke English to me so that I could communicate with my mother’s family in California. Once we were taught Korean in school my father would speak Korean to us while my mother would continue to speak English.

When I was ten we moved to California so my mother could teach over there. When we got to California my father and two brothers started to physically abuse my sister and I. My mother could do nothing about it because she feared for her life. Despite fearing for her life my mother always pushed me to socialize and be the best that I could be. This caused me to not come home when I got out. I socialized like there was no tomorrow so I became a very popular guy. Also, I got involved with sports and music so I made sure I was never really home. Two years after we moved to California we decided to move back to Busan, South Korea. The abuse continued and my sister and I were never home. Shortly after I moved back I entered middle school. This is where I started to get very popular. The reason I was so popular was because I was very involved with different things.

I entered high school at fourteen. The first day I met my best friend Jung. I was a very innocent guy but, that all changed my sophomore year. This is when I started to flirt with girls. I lost my virginity when I turned sixteen. I never told my parents any of that because they would have disowned me had I said that.

I graduated high school at 18. I started to work part time as a musical actor.-laughs slightly- I haven’t stopped it. The only thing that has changed is that I have moved back to the states and I am studying at the university here to become a doctor. If you want to know anything else you are so out of luck.”
