Becca isn't the most friendly person in the world. She's not stand offish but instead painfully shy. She puts on a happy face for those friends she does have and has a fierce protectiveness over them. Demetri, or Dems, is her best friend and has noticed she has become more withdrawn from everyone around her.

She needs someone to play Dems and also a few more close friends. Acquaintances are good, too.

She is mercilessly picked on by the popular kids and the jocks at the school, some of those who could be her bullies/tormentors are needed. She doesn't have a lot of actual enemies but she does have a long-standing mutual hatred with Priscilla Brandon, a girl in her grade who has tormented her since childhood.

She's not really looking for anyone right now but flirting or a guy she could fall for that would change her mind about killing herself would be interesting.

Only family she needs really is someone to play her little sis Bre. Otherwise random cousins or what have you, maybe some family friends?

hey! so, i have miss natalia garcia here. she's a freshman and has lived in lipton for five or so years now. she's a total sweetheart, aiming to just 'fit in' and to 'feel accepted.' she's a bit of a bookworm, ranking in the top five of her class, and she loves to play instruments. she's been taking lessons since she was younger.

so, maybe, the possibility of friends? there's an age difference, yes. but, since they both like music, they could have bonded over that? however close you want them to be is fine. or, we can go a different route. completely up to you. just pitching a random idea. (:

i also have miss adelaide james. addie is a junior and, unlike talia, has lived here in lipton her entire life. she used to be one of the party queens of the school, but that's all died since she found out that she was pregnant. addie has this desire to be one of the 'popular' girls at school. and, she's pretty successful at it. so, i was thinking that maybe addie was one of those mean kids who picked on becca growing up? she spent the first two years of high school and all of her middle school years as a bit of a ruthless drama queen. xD so, i could see them as enemies of some sort? maybe adelaide feels bad about the bullying/picking on now, so she's stopped it. but, she can't bring herself to apologize? she's withdrawn from most of her friends at this point, just sticking to the few that are closest to her... so, she wouldn't be with that 'popular' crowd as much. but, becca could still see her as an enemy figure?

again, just random thoughts. feel free to add/change/delete anything from either addie's or talia's ideas. (:

Becca & Natalia - I think bonding over music is a really good plot idea. Maybe Becca could try to stress to Natalia that fitting in isn't everything, using herself as an example. Could be kind of like a mock big sis/lil sis thing?

Becca & Adelaide - Ooh! I like the idea of maybe Becca being terribly fearful of Adelaide because she'd been a bully in the past. It seems like that would work but maybe Becca kind of feels sorry for Adelaide cause she's pregnant (if/when Adelaide tells people?) and they could bond over Becca trying to help her through that? But for now enemies is good! [/size]

(: talia would kind of look up to becca. and, she'd see that not everyone has to be the most popular girl or exactly the same. she needs an older sisterly figure. and, talia would definitely be there to look out for becca. she's never really been a victim of bullying, but she'd feel awful if she knew that becca was. so, i could see them being fairly close. (:

i like this as well! addie hasn't told really anyone yet. but, it's bound to come out in the open sooner or later. xD adelaide has finally gotten somewhat of a wakeup call that life isn't just parties and popularity. so, maybe, she and becca run into each other again. and, becca would still terribly afraid of addie. i think addie would start to feel bad then, realizing the affect that she had on poor becca. and, between that and when becca found out about the pregnancy, they could have a semi-stable friendship. haha. but, enemies for now works great. (:

I really, really like that idea. Becca doesn't currently have any sort of crush or anything so it'd be nice. And she's always willing to help everyone else even when she can't help herself. Perhaps we should do a thread with them and see how it goes. :3

Hmmm, maybe Steph could be like one of the preppy types that shows Becca they all aren't the same? Since she's nice Becca would be stand-offish and wary of her but eventually Step could make Becca see that people are more than just their social clique?
