hey guys!
so, since the site is starting back up, a question has arose. where do we begin again? so, this poll is here to settle that question. each of the poll choices are explained below. please, please, please take the time to vote! thank you!
where we left off - this would mean that everything would be just as it was when secrets died. it would be the beginning of winter and little would have changed for any characters.
at the end of the current school year - this would mean that secrets would be entering late spring/early summer. probably five or six months would have passed since the last time secrets was up, so your characters' lives would have changed some, too. senior characters will be graduating soon, all other grades move up a year.
by staring over - this means that we would go back to the early fall that the site started in. it'd be the beginning of the grade that characters are currently listed under, and any progress in your characters' secrets will be lost. it'll be as if nothing happened the first time through secrets!
skipping a year ahead - it wouldn't be quite a year ahead. i see it as skipping to the beginning of the next school year. it'd be fall. all seniors will have graduated and be starting college or life. juniors will be seniors. sophomores will be juniors. freshmen will be sophomores. basically, skip ahead in your characters' secrets, decide what their life would be like then, and go from there. all pregnant characters will have given birth by this point, so they will all need new secrets. other characters may need/have a new secret by then, too!

this poll as officially ended!
the result is that secrets will now be starting up at the end of the current school year! any threads that are currently in process (posted in/created within the past week) will be moved to the board 'the past.' all other threads will be moved to the thread graveyard. as always, feel free to pm me to move any thread back to their original location.
since we are skipping to the end of the current school year, the site will be in late may. just a few weeks will be left in the school year, and at some point soon, the site will enter summer. at this point, we will have a thread up to apply for your character to move up a grade level. any characters created at this point should apply for the grade level below where you would like them. meaning, if you want your character to be a junior, apply as a sophomore so that when the site enters summer they will be bumped up to their junior year. a thread to further explain this will be posted at a later time.
in the mean time, all threads created should take place in late may/early june. any threads that you want to take place in the months that we skipped should be posted in 'the past' board.
