for the sake of this lets just call him 'hallaway'. well madeline moved here about a week ago , and 'hallaway' was the first person that she came to know at school . madeline, as for now, doesn't like 'hallaway'. they met, in her eyes, rudely, because he ran into her, knocking all of her books down, and once he had stopped to help her, and then look at her, he proceded to flirt with her . madeline just feels like he's that player, but truthfuly, that isn't 'hallaway'. now, she is stuck with him in a class, and they have to do a group project together. bad enough being thrown into a new town and school in freshmen year, but to be thrown with a kid who already seems to have everyone on his side and who is annoying , is just worse. but as time goes on, madeline and 'hallaway' form feelings, and she knows hes not this 'player' she sought him out to be. i think, they might date, but im not sure right now.

'cruz' is the annoying girl that is on the student council , she is directed to show madeline every class that she has , and be attentive, and follow her and make sure madelines first week at school goes super. she is in a few of her classes, as well as madeline sadly figures out along the way. but, after a few days , madeline seems to find the 'annoying' girl to be her first friend here . she is also friends with 'hallaway', though. so, madeline finds her to be on the fence intill she starts to realize that 'hallaway' isn't this player.

'dexter' is 'hallaways' best friend . he is the nerdy kid that really only has a hand ful of friends. he is sort of that annoying, nerdy awkward kid that knows everything and anything that is useless. madeline really finds him more annoying than 'cruz' but nicer than 'hallaway' at first. she seems to tend to talk to him more than anyone , untill she really ends up falling for 'hallaway'

max is a single father ever since madeline was seven years old. after the tragic death of her mother , it was always hard for max to handle his two little girls. but, he never really thought that they were on the wrong track, or anything. after everything, he settled down and decided that these girls needed a mother figure in thier life. he moved her, and remarried and decided they need to start over. how well that will go is what is to come.

'kazur' is basically the preppy one that sees this as a chance to rule another school , and be miss popular. she doesn't really like the move, but she tends to snap right into every clique, and get along with everyone. she is very charming , and just knows how to be someone that everyone likes, and wants to be. madeline,and 'kazur' used to get along , but lately, things between them haven't been all so too well.
