Meet Devereux. He is needed to further Alexz's plot. Devereux is Alexz's older brother's best friend, and the love of Alexz's life. Devereux has always been around Alexz, since Alexz had been two years old. He has always felt protective of her, when she turned sixteen, he saw her as a women. He hasn't told Alexz how he feels. He feels that he can't tell her how he feels because he thinks she will never love him. He is a cop, and that is another reason that he hasn't said anything to her.

This lovely young man is Donavan Rivers. Donavan is Alexz's older highly protective brother. Donavan has been best friends with Devereux since they had been six years old. While he loves Dev like he is his twin brother. IF he ever found out that Dev loved Alexz, he would feel betrayed. Donavan is also a cop.
