Trent put his bag down by his bed and jumped into it it was great to be back home in his own house, and even better to be back with his girlfriend Brynlee they both went back to school. Going back to USC was not what Trent wanted to do but he had to finish school his father was right it was stupid to go for three years then just quite, But it wasn't all that bad because he spent most of his time snow boarding and going to basketball games with his family. the best part was Brynlee and him had made it threw being away from each other, and where closer then they had been in a long time. Trent got up from his bed and walked over to his closet he put on some Nike sweat pants and a Nike shirt today was his lazy day he didn't really have anything planned besides laying around and maybe Brynlee would come over so they could spend the day together and catch up. Trent didn't really know what all that brynlee had done at school because they didn't get to talk much on there way back from the airport but she was going to come over after she unpacked and changed.
Trent couldn't stop thinking about what all he had to say to Brynlee but the first thing he wanted to do was just sit with her and hold her. Trent layed back in his lazy boy he really didn't have anything else to do until B got there so he was hoping she would hurry. Pulling the controls from the coffee table he turned the TV on and closed his eyes being back home in his own house without his parents to tell him what to do was great sure he missed them but he didn't miss living with them and having to do everything there way having his own place where he could have friends over at anytime was great. Trent opened his eyes and started to actually listen to what was on the TV trying to occupy his time until Brynlee got to his house. Trent looked around every thing seemed to be intact which was good because he was worried letting Matt and Shawn stay there at anytime was bad and Brnylee kept telling him that but for once she was wrong and he wasn't going to let her forget it. It was so good to be home! Or, at least back in the little town of Lipton. Brynlee smiled to herself as she unlocked her apartment and threw her bags down by the door. It was her first time home in several months. She had opted to spending the second half of her school year studying abroad. Which, she had to admit, was an amazing experience. At first she had been hesitant, since she really didn't want to leave her long-time boyfriend -Trent-, her family, or her dog behind. But, looking back on the trip, it had been worth it. Plus, it had worked out perfectly since Trent had went back to California to finish his time at an University there right as she was leaving to study. The months they were both gone had conviently overlapped.
But, she was home now. And though she had enjoyed the time, she was ever grateful to have returned to her apartment, boyfriend, and family. Brynn was quick to change out of her current clothes and to slip on a much more comfy set of clothes. A pair of sweatpants, a cami, and an oversized hoodie that she was certain had once belonged to Trent were her new choices of clothes. And, though she normally was one to take great care in her appearance, Brynn didn't mind to step out looking less than fantastic for once. She was just anxious to get out of her apartment and down the street to see her boyfriend.
With her dog still at Matt's house, Brynn didn't have to stay home for long. She grabbed her purse and pulled her hair up in a messy ponytail. Then, she grabbed her keys and her cup off coffee from the way home and headed back out the door. It wasn't but ten minutes later when Brynn found herself standing outside of Trent's door. She gave a soft knock to let him know that she had arrived, and then shifted back and forth. "Trent, honey, open up! I forgot my key." She was tired from their trip, but she was also beyond excited to catch up with Trent. They had grown closer than ever in the past few months, but she still had yet to catch up with him. More than anything she just craved sitting close to him and cuddling. Just an easy evening of doing remotely nothing. [/blockquote]

Trent got up from his chair and walked into his kitchen to get a drink Trent pulled out a power-aid, and walked back into the living room before he could get sat down he heard a knock at the door and his girlfriend say she had left her key at her house. Trent walked over to the door and let her in before she could walk through the door he pulled her into a hug kissing her Trent shut the door behind her and pulled her over to his chair he was so happy to see her smile and was just happy to be able to hold her and kiss her being away from brynlee was something he hatted doing but the times where perfect she had left for school and he decided it would be better to get his over with when she was gone then to wait and not be able to see her when she was done, and going to school was keeping his mind off of missing her even though he couldn't stop thinking about her the whole time he was back in Cali. Trent sat down in his lazy boy and pulled B into his chair with him. " B i missed you so much sweetie how have you been?'' Trent put his arms around Brynlees waist just sitting with her was the best thing in the world to him, and knowing they had made it worked when they where so far apart made him very happy.
Trent kissed Brynlees cheek and winked at her he didn't care what happened he was just happy that they where both home and where together " So Brynlee what was the best part of being able to go study abroad? It had to be great seeing new people and learning all new things." Trent smiled at her and patted her lower back he most look stupid with his big smile on his face but he couldn't help but smile he was so happy to be with her. Trent kissed B on the for head and made a funny face he could she her beautiful smile. " I have to say I missed you a lot B, and there wasn't a day i didn't think about you honey.'' Trent looked around the room and then back to Brynlee and said " You look amazing as always Brynlee, and guess what Matt and Shawn didn't destroy my house like you said they would." Trent pulled B closer to him and layed back in the chair waiting for her to tell him about her time studying

It hadn't taken Trent long to open his door. Brynlee had just barely been able to take a sip of her coffee when the door came open and she turned to greet her boyfriend. She didn't even get a chance to say hello or to even step inside his home before she felt his arms around her. Giggling, Brynlee was quick to return Trent's hug, not hesitating to kiss him back. God had she missed being close to him. She loved the feeling of holding him one again. Brynlee didn't fight Trent as he pulled her on into the apartment and pushed the door close. She was careful to set her coffee down at the nearest table, so that it wouldn't spill, and managed to drop her over-sized handbag on the ground inside the door. She wouldn't be needing either anytime soon.
As they broke the kiss, Brynlee grinned at Trent. She laughed as he pulled her into the chair after him. Letting her legs dangle over the arm of the chair, she wrapped her own arms around Trent's neck and rested her head against his shoulder. "I missed you more!" She shifted her head up, looking at him with a sly grin. "I'm better now... let's not spend that much time apart ever again." Honestly, she had been semi-doubtful that they would be able to hold their relationship together for all those months. They had a history of breaking up quite often, but they had somehow made it work this time. Brynlee had to admit that she was very grateful for that. She wasn't sure what she would do without Trent.
"It was overwhelming at first," She admitted, in response to his next question, "But, I just loved the idea of traveling! There are so many amazing things to see around the world... it's kind of amazing." Trent couldn't seem to stop grinning at her, but Brynlee was certain that she couldn't pull the smile off her face if she tried to, either. It was funny at how being close to him could just make her feel so happy all the time. She leaned up, kissing his cheek softly before adding, "We definitely need to travel together next time. I miss you too much when we don't..."
Brynlee laughed once more as he stated that she looked amazing. Rolling her eyes, she simply shook her head. "I do make your hoodie look good, don't I?" Winking, she took this moment to glance around the room. Nothing was out of order. Which, was surprising considering Trent had made the risky decision to leave her cousin and his best friend in charge of his home. "I guess not. How does it feel being right for the first time, T?" A light, joking tone laced her voice as she leaned back against Trent. She left one arm wrapped around his neck, but moved the other to hold on to his hand. It was nice to be home.

'' Yes next time we need to travel together and now that I'm done with my schooling I have all the time in the world to spend with my love.'' Trent knew they would be able to travel together at anytime now because he was done and she had almost finished her schooling so there wouldn't be much stopping them from going. Trent knew they would be going back to Cali more often to see his parents now that they where back together because his parents loved her, and he knew that if he didn't come home soon so they could see her they would end up at his house for a visit and that was the last thing he wanted his parents to do. Trent looked back at brynlee " This wasn't the first time I was right, but it does feel good.'' He kissed Brynlee on her head and laughed she never let him have his moments in the light, but it was okay because she always made him laugh. Trent looked at Brynlee up and down even wearing sweat pants and one of his old sports hoddies she looked great and even though she didn't think she did he would argue with her until she admitted it.
Trent putt his head on Brynlee's shoulder and let out a sigh he had so much he wanted to say to brynlee but he didn't know where to begin for one he wanted her to know that the past couple of months had been the best he had had in the past two years and the biggest of them all he wanted her to know that he did want to spend the rest of his life with her, and he was ready to be in a long term relationship but only with her. Trent had realized that he would never find anyone better for him then her she had putt up with every thing he dished out and more what girl would stay with someone that dumped her and really had no reason to, and he never realized that all that mattered to her was he cared for her and she just wanted to be loved by him. Trent had grown up more in the past year then he had the past three years he was in college and most of that was thanks to his parents and Brynlees younger cousin Matt if he could deal with all the pressure his dad put on him and still want to give all he had to that girl Fallon and her two kids Trenton knew he would putt all he had into him and B's relationship, and the fact that his mom told him if he didn't tell her this he would end up loosing her for good scared the crap out of him he didn't know what he would do without his Brynlee.
Trent pulled his head up if he was going to tell her now was the time. " Brynlee I want you to know that I love you more then anything else in this world I don't want to sound like every one else but you are my rock, and I know that i haven't treated you the best the past couple of years but you stuck by me and never once gave up I just wish i would have realized sooner because you never deserved to be treated like i treated you. I really want to say thank you for loving me, and I want you to know that I would be lost if I didn't have you in my life.'' Trent paused giving her time to take it all in he didn't know how she would act to the sudden out burst of emotion from him but he couldn't help it there was no better time then the present. " Okay now for the seconds part of what I have to say. Why hadn't you ever left me I have been down right stupid Brynlee I am so glad you stayed beside me you have done what most girls wouldn't do for a guy.''
Trent turned so he could look into Brynlee's eye so she could see that he was really being serious he didn't want her to think that he was just saying this to make her feel good he had thought long and hard while they where apart from each other and he decided that they never needed to be without each other but it was half he decision Trent couldn't choose for both of them. Trent looked away he didn't want Brynlee to see him tear up he wipped off the tears and looked back to her and smiled kissing her on the lips and waiting for her to take in all he had said. He didn't know what else to do so he kept talking " Im glad you had a great time B I did to snowboarding was great and mom and dad flew Matt out so we could hang out and other then that i worked a lot with dad and went to A lot of basketball games.'' Trent layed his head down on brynlee's chest and waited for her to say what she had to say. [/size]

The mood almost seemed to shift between them as the small talk died down. Brynlee didn't mind, however. She felt Trent put his head on her shoulder, and only snuggled closer to him. Sometimes it was nice to just sit together or to be close. They hadn't had much of an opportunity to do that lately, so Brynlee planned to embrace any second that she got. Moving both of her hands now, she wrapped them around one of Trent's and gave it a light squeeze. Her eyes shifted to the TV screen for just a few seconds, realizing for the first time that it was still on one of the sports games. Trent, much like her own family, always had loved sports. They had spent hours in the past cheering for his favorite teams and even attending some games. It had grown on her. And, after so many months away, Brynn had to admit that the sound of even the most boring of sportscasters was a relaxing sound. it was funny how the simple things meant so much after returning home.
Her mind toyed with this concept for just a few moments, a thin smile on her face. As she felt Trent remove his head from her shoulder, however, she came back to reality and turned to her boyfriend with a slight curiosity. It seemed almost random, the words that were suddenly being said. But, Brynn listened with interest, holding Trent's gaze with her own. With every word he said, she found her gaze softening. Yes, they had a rocky relationship to the start, but she really thought that they had made progress with it. And she could tell that Trent had meant every word that escaped his lips. She was so grateful to have him, but she was also curious as to where this sudden confession at come from.
Now didn't seem to be the time to question that, however. As Trent pulled his gaze away, Brynlee reached out, placing one of her hands on the side of his face and rubbing a small circle with her thumb. She kissed him slowly, before pulling away and giving just a small smile. "T, I haven't left you because I love you. I can honestly say that... I have no idea who I am without you by my side." Feeling her own eyes watering, Brynlee shifted her gaze to her lap. She was at a loss for words, she really was. It was a foreign feeling to her, but she just found every word that Trent had said to be so sweet; it had caught her off guard and really brought her to believe that they had come a lot further than anticipated. "You're not stupid," She proceed softly. Looking up at him, after blinking away semi-watery eyes, Brynlee smiled. "You're perfect. We were both at fault for our relationship issues, T. But, they're over and in the past. So, please don't blame yourself." She tilted her head forward, pressing her lips on his just once more before she pulled back and gave him a sheepish grin. His revelation really had caught her off guard.. in a good way. She was ecstatic inside, but speechless. It almost seemed as if the roles had been reversed and he was the more talkative one of the two for once. [/blockquote]

Trent picked his head up off Brynlees chest he knew she felt the same about him but hearing her say it made him feel good inside, and knowing that he would always have her in his life made everything worth while. Trent turned his head to watch tv he didn't know what else to say he normally didn't talk much. Most people asked how him and Brynlee started dating because she was so out going and talkative and Trent was really quite and wasn't as out going, but Trent thought thats what brought them together and made them work. Brynlee brought the outgoing side out of him. Trent looked back at Brynlee placing his hand on her cheeks and pulling her into a big kiss when the two pulled out of the kiss trent smiled and winked " I'm so happy you feel the same about me Brynlee I don't know how i would feel without you, and I never want to find out.'' Trent smiled at brynlee again tickling her a little trying to make her smile and laugh Trent rolled over on his side to look ar brynlee being back with her was perfect better then he remembered.
Trent didn't know what to say being here with her and just holding each other was enough but he wanted to talk to her about a lot of thing he just didn't know what to say or where to start. " Mom and Dad miss you A lot B, and they said next time i come back it better be with you at my side.'' Trent let out a laugh he was so happy that his parents loved Brynlee as much as he did because it was so easy for them to betogether. Trents whole family loved her and his parents practically took her in as there own most of the time she talked to them more then he did. " Moms and dad got you some stuff its in my room I havent even looked at it so we can do that latter, but for now tell me more about your trip what all did you do?'' [/size]

Goodness, she felt stupid. Brynlee couldn't quit grinning at Trent. They had been together forever and yet she still got that childish feeling of butterflies every time he tried to be sweet. She was nearing twenty-one, and yet Trent still had the ability to make her feel at a loss for words. "Neither do-" She started to respond, when she felt Trent's hands on her side. Within a few seconds, she couldn't help but to start giggling. "Don't tickle me!" She squirmed against him, attempting to grab a hold of his hands. She had always been incredibly ticklish. And, that always seemed to be the one thing that Trent remembered above all else. Leave it to him.
Managing to get a hold of both of his hands, Brynn was quick to pull them away from her sides. Her giggling slowly seized, and she stuck her tongue out at him. She slid off his lap, pulling her hair out of the messy ponytail that it was in as she did so. Once standing, she grabbed both of his hands, and gave them a soft tug. She was tired, yes, but she felt like doing something. Anything from dancing to attempting to cook. Random, yes, but that was simply Brynn. She had never been one to sit still for long. She made her way over to Trent's fridge and pulled the door open, her eyes glazing over anything that might still be left. Granted, the fridge was most likely near empty since they had been gone so long. But, Matt had to eat something while here, right?
Leaning against the fridge, Brynn glanced over the open door to Trent. She gave a wide, bubbly grin at him as he stated that his parents missed her. "I love them. They're always so sweet!" She paused, shaking her head lightly. His parents went out of their way to make sure she was happy. Sometimes they even talked to her more so than they did Trent. She had always loved them, though. She was certain that she had sent them more postcards than she had her own parents while she was away. Especially Trent's mother. They had always just clicked.
"Europe was amazing," Brynn continued, kneeling down now to see if there was anything of interest in the fridge at all. Finding little of interest, Brynn closed the door and now slid onto his counter top, swinging her legs as she sat. "but, it's overwhelming, you know? There's so many different languages! What was the most interesting, though, was Turkey. They actually let us participate in one of those archaeological digs!" She went off on a slight tangent about that, explaining several details about it. There had been little found of any value, but it had been fun. "And then there's the food... that's about to die for. It's so good! I think I actually gained weight." She laughed, shaking her head at herself and her explanations. "But I'm sure Cali was just as interesting! I mean... you have the best of both worlds. Beaches and snowboarding, right?" [/blockquote]

Trent got up from his chair and walked into the kitchen Trent walked over to Brynlee standing between her legs he leaned close to her kissing her on her for head head." Everything you did sounds great B I didn't do anything that fun but maybe next time you go i will come with you just to see what its all about.'' Trent never went far from home he didn't really like being away from home moving back to Lipton was one of the biggest things he had done without his parents, But the only reason he did was sitting on the counter in front of him smiling at him. Trent grabbed Brnylee's legs and pulled her closer to him it was amazing feeling being with her and he couldn't explain it and he hoped he never lost that feeling. Trent looked around his kitchen there wasn't anything to eat at his house and he was starting to get hungry. Trent smiled at Brynlee then turned to walk into his room " I'm getting hungry B lets go find something to eat.'' Trent figured she wouldnt want to go out looking like they did, but Trent didn't care food was all he could think about.
Trent pulled on his new nike shoe's and grabbed his wallet and phone. Then layed back on his bed waiting for B to follow him into his room Trent closed his eye trying to think of some other things he had done in CALI that he hadn't told Brynlee about he really didn't do anything exciting but go to a lot of kings games with his dad. When Brynlee walked in the room trent pushed his self up to sit on the side of the bed " Cali was fun but I really didn't do much it sounds like you had a way better time then me if you would have been with me it would have been even better. Next time we go together I will have to teach you how to snowboard so we can all go together Matt was like a naturel but you already know that kid is good at everything he trys.'' Trent had grew closer to Brynlees cousin over the past couple years, and Trent even brought him out to Cali to help him get away from stress of college choices Brynlee always picked of him and Matt for hanging out but with Trent being an only child it was nice having Matt around to hang out with. Trent layed back on the bed waiting on Brynlee to tell him where they should go eat. [/size]

Brynn swung her legs slightly, leaning back on her hands as she glanced around the kitchen. Was it strange to say that she had missed the familiar feeling of sitting in here with Trent from time to time? She grinned to herself slightly at the thought, her attention only venturing from the thought when she felt Trent approach her. She continued to smile, giggling softly as he kissed her forehead. She had always liked when he did that, though she wasn't certain that she had ever voiced that. "I'd love that, T! It would make it much, much more fun!" She chirped, in response to his proposal.
The young adult laughed once more as Trent used her legs to pull her closer to him. She wrapped her arms behind his neck, holding him for just a second before she let go. Trent then started toward the other room, and Brynn slid off the counter, following behind him without complaint. "You're always hungry, T." She laughed, shaking her head slightly. "But... food does sound good!" Airport food wasn't exactly something to brag about, and Brynlee had to admit that she was starting to get hungry herself. Any food would be decent at the moment.
It didn't take her long to follow Trent into his bedroom. She only stopped once to glance at her reflection in a mirror. Scrunching up her nose, Brynlee ran her fingers through her messy ponytail. "I look awful, T! I'm not dressed to go out." Brynlee continued to scrunch her nose, stepping to Trent's room and plopping down on the bed beside him. "I look more like I'm going to bed then to dinner," She added, mostly to herself. Looking over to Trent, she smiled sheepishly. "Why don't we stop at my apartment, I'll get changed... and then we can out to the club! Dancing sounds like fun. And, they have good french fries!"
Anything sounded like fun to Brynn. She pursed her lips, sitting up down and leaning against Trent as he spoke. Trent had grown super close to her family throughout the years. Especially Matt, who was the closest thing she had to siblings. She always teased them about it, but she was grateful that they did get along so well. It made it easier to say that she loved him. "Matt's good at any sport." She agreed with a small nod, "But, I'm positive that I could beat him at snowboarding! It can't be that hard. I can... kinda, surf! But it's been a while..." [/blockquote]
