Rhett glared down at the thick advanced biology of micro-organisms book that was spread open upon the table before him. He had come into the library today in the hopes that somewhere within the bookshelves he would find the solace he was used to encountering when surrounded by books. He was thoroughly annoyed now that he couldn't seem to find any such feeling.
Books did not ask him stupid questions, they didn't laugh awkwardly when they didn't get his jokes, and they never judge him. Books were his friends. He normally found the concise yet through delivery of facts such as could be found in books similar to the one before him a great comfort no matter what predicaments he may or may not be going through at the moment.
However flipping through the pages now he found no such comfort. He was oddly bored by a book he would have normally been enraptured by. Books may be his friends, but they weren't enough.
He needed human interaction. He craved it Craved it more than he, as a self proclaimed chocoholic, had ever craved chocolate. And though he loved his sister immensely, and appreciated the effort put in by her friends, he had his limits with them.
His fingers drummed uselessly against the wood of the table. He considered pushing aside Advanced Biology of Micro-Organisms in favor of one of the other large texts he had heaved from the back shelves, but he knew that none of them would satisfy him in the mood he was in.

[atrb=width,400] Crazy small town girl Things at home were crazy today since Lorraine Beck had invited all her ‘friends’to watch Monday night football in their large room that was decorated to look like a movie theater yet none of that impressed Reneenaya or the fact she actually came from money on both sides of her family, She’d rather sit in her bedroom with the door locked writing away in her journal and blaring all the music her mother hated just to piss her mother loving the feeling of pushing that old bitch over the edge was a way better thrill than anything else these days. She had been sitting on the floor working on a new poem when that very old cow of a woman came to her door to tell her that she wanted her daughter to get dressed and come down stairs to be introduced to the male suitors that were their company so feeling like a two dollar whore she got went through her closet to put on a hot pink mini skirt and a black football jersey with pink writing on it to wear only a black lacy bra underneath then black leggings underneath the skirt. She let out another annoyed huff before turning around to face a body length mirror and looked at her reflection in it, the girl was average height for a sixteen year old standing at a five foot two yet she was unhealthy underweight for it she currently only weighed eighty nine pounds since her step father left for his business trip she went back to her old habits by not eating and sucking down all the diet, ecatasy and anxiety pills she could get her hands on yet she managed not to cut herself in the past month which was really new for her.
After embarrassing herself downstairs with flirting with old fat bald rich men she ascended back upstairs into her room to finish putting on her jewelry and shoes because she had suddenly decided she needed the sanctuary of books and the smell of an librarian’s cheap perfume to calm herself for the afternoon.Reneenaya was hardly the typical teenage girl and had no friends her own age instead she had the close bond of her the man her mother married whom was half her age at only nineteen then her little sister Katy who was only four but neither of them were here which left Nay on her own for the afternoon and that depressed the hell out of her. She picked up her iphone to text Raidon and tell him she was going out even if he was across the country right now she still felt he needed to know in case she came up missing or something not to mention she missed the man way too much that it was unhealthy story of her little life! She finally was ready to walk out the front door when she flicked her mother off one last time and grabbed the keys to the truck before slamming it behind her.
She made her way down the road jamming out to Aerosmith's Crazy and singing along with the words many would say that this song would be her and the man she finally dated in five years but she just rolled her eyes and kept on going. Lipton Public library was on the right hand side of the road and it had taken her over ten minutes to get there then jumped out to head towards the old building still humming the music all the way inside.
This place was like Nay's second home and she adored the back table in the study area which was usually vacated but not today, there was a a male with brown hair sitting at her table, frowning she shook her head and sat at it anyways. She was not usually the most talkative person in the world so she just grabbed her journal out of her messenger bag to begin writing inside and sketching small little birds on an empty page.
