My love affair with everywhere w a s i n n o c e n t w h y d o y o u c a r e?
y o u d o n t f o r m i n t h e w e t s a n d, You * don't * form * at * all The morning sunlight would normally be the first thing to wake up any normal student. But for Rhine she hadn't slept more than a few hours and the sun was a painful reminder on her blue-green eyes. She was currently playing 'hug-the-porcelain' as another wave of morning sickness rocked her petite frame. She closed her eyes and laid her forehead against the edge of the seat, willing the sickness to go away so she could get dressed. After curling up against the wall for another twenty minutes the morning sickness dissapeared. Rhine's eyes felt heavy and she felt very shaky, yet managed to get up. After taking a shower to remove the last bits of paint from her arms and face she tried to dry her hair as quickly as possible. After double checking the clock on her nightstand she had to decide on an outfit. A soft sigh escaped her full lips as she jerked open her closet door and stared into the mess. She desperately needed to get her bedroom, and quite frankly the whole house, cleaned but the last month had been the worst yet of her pregnancy so things had slid out of control. Something Rhine hated was losing control. She found her go-to, comfy jeans and slid them on, her face now a mask of panic. The jeans barely hit her waist where they usually would slide on like a second skin. A cry of anguish ripped from her as she flopped back on the bed. Her Border Collie Kiedis jumped up on the bed with her and tried to console her. She scratched behind the dog's ears and forced herself to calm down. She finally got back to her feet and dug through her closet for a Red Hot Chili Peppers tee. One of her favorites was a white one with a floral and girl design as well as the logo. After pulling it over her head she tugged uselessly at it to come down over her now showing belly and her engorged chest. After mentally cursing the shirt out she had to come up with a quick plan to fix her issue. She walked around her room and spotted one of Ali's fashion magazine's laying out on the desk. It was opened to the new boho style that was becoming so fashionable, something she had joked around with Rhine about since the pregnant teen had always had an indie-boho influenced style. She spotted a girl wearing a billowy, floral skirt layered over a pair of flare jeans and an idea sparked her. She headed back over to her closet and dug through her skirts until she found a knee-length boho print one. After slipping it on over her jeans she felt a wash of relief that it had covered the space between the bottom of her shirt and the top of the jeans. Finally! She quickly brushed her hair and threw a red, slouchy beanie over it. For makeup she'd never been a girl to doll herself up so she stuck with nude and brown shades of shadows and a pink lip. Rhine found a pretty necklace with 'Someday I'll wish upon a star' on a pendant with a star on it, a pair of peace-sign, guitar pick earrings, a red string hamsa bracelet, and a heart shaped peace sign bracelet. Finally she was almost ready. She slipped on her chain with the gender-neutral pascifer on it around her neck and adjusted it so it laid close to her heart. After struggling to put on her red converse low-tops and grabbing her trift-store messenger bag she headed out the door. She'd recently purchased a used Prius and traded in her scooter. It was a safer way to and from school, after all. The junior drove herself down to the college and managed to get through her morning classes before deciding she'd drive to the park for lunch. Rhine walked out to the picnic areas and sat down ontop of a picnic table that had been pressed against a tree resting her back against the rough bark of the tree. She pulled out a granola bar, a bag of chopped apples and some funky green looking drink that was chock full of natural vitamins and prenatal helpers that tasted like cough syrup. Rhine began enjoying her lunch and working on a new song in her worn out lyrics notebook enjoying the sunny day. Words; 746 Tagged; Open! Today was the first day since school had ended that Ashton had made absolutely no plans to meet with any of her friends. She had wanted to spend the day just relaxing and doing exactly what she felt like doing without her friends dragging her around the mall. She actually hadn't decided what she wanted to do quite yet, but it was still morning and she still needed to get herself ready for the rest of the day.
After showering, she chose to wear a simple pair of blue jeans, a plain white baby-doll t-shirt, and light blue flip-flops. She dried her hair with the hair dryer and then used the curling iron to add a few low curls. For her makeup, she just used some black eyeliner, light blue eyeshadow, and clear lip gloss. She didn't see any point in putting a ton of effort into her appearance when she hadn't even decided where she was going to go.
It was early afternoon by the time she finished getting ready."I think I'll go to the park while it is so nice outside." She wandered over to her desk to find her keys that she had stuffed in her purse. After finding her keys, she headed outside to her blue Jeep Cherokee and then drove off towards the park. It wasn't too long of a drive for her.
The park seemed quite peaceful this afternoon, so she parked and climbed out. She grabbed her cell phone from her purse and put it into her pocket then left the purse. She walked over towards a group of trees that weren't occupied yet and didn't even bother to lock the Jeep. She wasn't worried about any one stealing anything and had chosen to sit where she could still see it.
While walking, she noticed that a few people had looked up as she walked by, so she flashed her most polite smile and waved a little. Once she reached her spot, she took a seat against the tree and leaned up against it. The sound of all the children playing was a little distracting and so she turned her head to watch them for a moment before pulling her cell phone out to check for any messages or calls. She breathed a sigh of relief and put the phone away again.

My love affair with everywhere w a s i n n o c e n t w h y d o y o u c a r e?
y o u d o n t f o r m i n t h e w e t s a n d, You * don't * form * at * all Rhine had finished her lunch and desposited her trash in the appropriate recycle bins before she'd gone back to her seat. She enjoyed the warm sunshine falling on her face from the shade of the tree. Her green-blue eyes carefully watched the kids playing on the playground. She gently rubbed her stomach as she looked on, excited for the day when her own child (or children) would be playing on that same playground. She flipped open her phone and typed out a text to corren to let him know she was at the park between classes and would come by later for glee club practice. After slipping her phone back into her vintage, Japan messenger bag she stretched and closed her notebook. Rhine busied herself with double-checking some paperwork for her upcoming doctor's appointment before she heard a noise nearby. She peeked around the tree to see a girl sitting beside the tree she was on the other side of. Rhine turned when she heard the girl's sigh, not sure if she was upset or not. Rhine debated on whether to say anything or not. She leaned back against her side of the tree, busying herself with the paperwork. She frowned at the plethora of random and seemingly useless questions on the paperwork. That's what she got for switching OB/GYNs. She sighed irritably as the questions became more embarrasing and detailed. Including if any drugs or alcohol were involved during or after conception. Reluctantly she marked 'yes' and scribbled in a note that it was only during conception. She had been on a hardcore diet of healthy food the last month though her hunger for something sweet or greasy was getting to be too much. She would definitely need to go buy some ben and jerry's soon enough. When she noticed the girl hadn't moved she decided to be friendly and do something to get her mind off of the paperwork. Rhine slipped gently off of the table and walked around the tree, clearing her throat so as not to startle the girl. She noted that the girl seemed relieved or something of that decanter. Rhine gave a friendly smile and waved. "Hello, my name's Rhine. I don't believe I've seen you around before. I couldn't help but hear your sigh a few moments ago, is everything okay?" Rhine gave the girl an easy-going smile and extended her hand to shake. She hadn't seen the girl before, though this wasn't surprising if the girl was a high schooler or younger. Rhine didn't have a lot to do with the high school kids mostly because a good lot of them would chastize her for being pregnant at twenty. But there were those were still really friendly to her despite her ever-growing belly. She tended to be a very outgoing person, but sometimes even she was unusually shy. Today she seemed more reserved than usual but still willing to hold a conversation. Rhine shifted a little uncomfortably on the gravel-littered ground as she waited for the answer. She wouldn't be offended if the girl didn't want to talk about it. But having a twin brother who was a psychology prodigy, jokingly called Freud by his good friends, she felt obligated to do whatever she could to assist people with their problems. Now that her brain was clear she could see the girl's sigh had most likely been of relief not stress. But why would she breath a sigh of relief while fiddling with a phone? Perhaps the girl had someone she was avoiding. Rhine did her best not to over-analyze the girl, but something just wasn't right here. Words; 612 Tagged; Open! Ashton snapped back to reality when she heard the voice that had been directed towards her. It had startled her a little considering she hadn't been expecting anyone since she hadn't told anyone where she was going today and it didn't sound like anyone she knew. However, she had spoken in a polite manner, so she knew it wasn't someone who was angry with her. Not that she could think of a reason that some stranger would be angry with her in the first place.
She turned her head to face the woman who had spoke to her and smiled politely in return. "Well, hello there Rhine. My name is Ashton." She paused for a moment to try to remember exactly why she had sighed in the first place. "Oh yeah.. I sighed after looking at my phone." She had truthfully sighed because she hadn't received any text messages from her twin sister saying she had been beat by another boy again. She hated herself for never doing anything, but what could she do? If she said anything they would probably come after her as well.
"Yes, everything is okay. I had sighed in relief that I hadn't received any bad news today. Thank you for the concern though, it is always nice to know that some people care about others." She smiled a little brighter to the girl and looked her over more. She noticed the pacifier on her necklace and wondered what it was for. She couldn't tell for sure if the girl was pregnant. Maybe she already had a kid that was playing over at the playground.
She decided to ask about the necklace, hoping that the girl wouldn't be offended."I hope you don't mind me asking, but I noticed you are wearing a pacifier on your necklace. What is it for?" She then watched as the girl shifted uncomfortably again and said, "You can sit with me if you'd like, by the way." She didn't mind having the company and she certainly didn't want to seem like she was being rude by making her stand there.
