hey guys!
first off, welcome back to secrets! i'm so glad that you guys have decided to join us again. we've put a lot of work into starting the site back up fresh, and i hope that you guys like everything. i hope we can be more active than ever!
due to a fresh start, several changes have had to be made. i'm just going to list them in this thread and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me a pm. thanks guys and welcome back again!
1) with a fresh start, all of the claims have been sent to the graveyard. this means that everyone MUST repost ALL of their claims before they are allowed to role play again. sorry about the inconvenience, but this was the easiest way to go about this. we only have one claim now, the face claim, and then a member directory. both are mandatory. please do those as soon as you know which characters you plan to keep!
2) as i'm sure you've all started to notice by now, we have a new layout. fall themed, the layout represents the new season here on secrets. summer is coming quickly to an end and it's time to go back to school. secrets is now a year old and we've been through an entire year of seasons. with the new year, feel free to change your secret! a lot can happen in a year.
3) this brings me to the next point. member group changes were automatically made. all freshmen were moved to sophomores. all sophomores to juniors. all juniors to seniors. seniors were divided by a thread we did earlier this year. those who signed up for college went to college. the remaining seniors were divided between 'locals' and 'seniors.' college students and locals, unless otherwise stated in the thread earlier this year, remained in the same group. if you would like to switch member groups or feel that your character was incorrectly placed, that's perfectly fine! just find the thread under 'announcements.'
4) before you begin role playing, please find your character's original application in the 'revamp' board and post in it just to say that you'd like to keep them. once you post there and do your claims, you're good to go!
5) i would just like to take this moment to throw out some staff news. jen, anne, matt, and myself have worked hard on this revamp. anne is returning to the team after a long term hiatus, and matt is new to the team. so, be sure to welcome them both back, and to send a shout-out to jen, who is as dedicated as ever. as always, they're in charge just as much as myself, so feel free to ask them anything. we'd all be happy to help you!
