If I crash on the couch, can I sleep in my clothes?
Harrison Blaze Fielding. Eighteen. Senior.
"I'm homeless"
The product of a broken home, Harrison turned from cheeky chappy to wild child in search of the parental attention he craved, ending up with him being chucked out on the streets to fend for himself. Despite his bad boy reputation, he’s a pretty sweet and friendly guy with plenty of confidence and charm; traits which tend to help him in his constant search for a new bed or settee to sleep on. Harrison will talk to anyone and can easily make new friends and win around ladies but underneath the happy and sociable exterior still lies the rejected and vulnerable kid who nobody cares about. Most nights he drinks himself into a stupor, pretending just to be having fun but, in reality, trying to use alcohol to help him forget everything. With his worsening substance dependencies and no way out of this mess in sight, Harrison needs someone to guide him back into the right direction, or least provide him with a roof over his head whilst he finds the right direction himself.
Don't let me get me, I'm my own worst enemy.
Mikayla Leigh James. Seventeen. Junior.
" I've never felt good enough"
With a heart full of gold but a head full of worries, Kayla is a sweet and loving; if a little mixed up, kind of girl. She is quiet and has her head firmly in the clouds, spending more time thinking than speaking which may lead people to perhaps assume she is more shy than she really is. Far from being a social butterfly like her twin, Kayla still enjoys the company of friends and is becoming steadily more confident and comfortable at parties. Newly single, Kayla is slowly trying to get over her ex Teddy but is unable to let the flame fully die out just yet. Overall Kayla is a beautiful girl inside and out but her main fault is the constant tiring reassurance and persuasion she needs to even begin to believe this.
You're gunna catch a cold, from the ice inside your soul.
Blaine Mackinnley O'Callaghan. Twenty-One. College
"It's my fault he ended up like this."
Deep down, Blaine must have a heart. If not, he wouldn’t feel so much responsibility for looking after the people he messed up with. On the surface though, that man with a heart might be hard to recognise; Blaine comes across as a tough guy with a certain disinterest in people. He’s up for one night stands and messing around with girls, but the heavy emotional aspects of friendships and love are not particularly of interest to him. The one person he does love, however much he despises the fact and would never care to admit it, is his younger brother Oz. They treat each other awfully and have deep rooted issues, but Blaine will never give up on his sibling. This shows that for those closest to him, he is a fiercely loyal and protective guy, but anyone hoping to get close to him must realise that getting to that guy involves a tough battle to get past his exterior.
