Standing in front of the mirror, Brynlee ran her fingers through her loose curls. She had spent most of the day inside watching movies and hadn't originally intended to get dressed today. But, Trent had texted her a few hours before asking her to meet him for dinner tonight. So, she had pulled herself off the couch and had spent the time since then getting ready to go out. It was seldom that they went out, as they normally just ate food inside one of their apartments, so Brynn felt the need to put a little extra effort into her appearance tonight.
Now, taking a small step back from the mirror, the young adult smiled successfully at her appearance. She was finally satisfied and shifted a quick glance to her nearby alarm clock. Seeing that she was running slightly late, Brynlee quickly slid on some high heels and started for the door. "Be good, Pippa! I'll see you in a few hours." She kissed the small dog on the top of its head, waving at it as she left the apartment.
After descending the stairs, Brynlee arrived at her car and through her purse in the passenger's seat. She sent Trent a quick text to say that she was on her way and then started for the lake. Trent had said to meet him in the parking lot there at seven, but, as always, Brynlee pulled in several minutes late. After parking, she stepped out of her car and glanced around the area for any sign of Trent. She had to admit that she was excited. They hadn't been out on an actual date for a while. Trent put on his new Nike's that he had got last time he was in Cali with Matt on spring break he loved shoe, and every time he seen a pair he didn't have he had to buy them brynlee always picked on him about how he was more into shoe's then him and most of the time it was true. Trent picked his key's up off the coffee table and turned the TV off he had to get food before he went to the park. Trent walked out the door locking it behind him. Trent walked over to his car he backed out of his drive way one his way to the deli that he liked to get food he wouldn't tell brynlee that he bought the sandwiches, because she wouldn't let him live it down about buying sandwiches for there picnic. Trent turned on the road to down town Lipton and parked he had just enough time to buy his food and drinks and get to the park. Trent knew B wouldn't be on time but he didn't want to risk her actually being on time for once.
Trent picked up what he needed walking back to his car he threw away everything that would give away that he didn't make the food. He unlocked his car and opened the back door, and put everything in his basket closing the door and starting the car he could take his time getting to the park he really wanted to get there early so he could pick on B for being late. He couldn't help but smile when he thought about him and Brynlee and how they had mad it through everything and where still together it made him happy Trent knew that Brynlee was going to be his wife one day, but he just had to gather the courage to do it. Trent pulled into the park and pulled his basket out of the car and sat it on the hood of his car and leaned up against the hood waiting for brynlee to pull in. Matt looked around the parking lot there wasn't many people here today for Trent it was a good thing. Brynlee pulled into the parking lot as she got out of the car he walked over kissing her for head he said " Hey Sweetie how are you? "
