Ashton picked up her cell phone to check the time before getting out of bed. It was still early and her alarm had not yet gone off, which meant she had plenty of time to get herself ready for her first day of college courses. She stretched then climbed out of bed to head towards the closet. She already knew exactly what she wanted to wear because she wanted to dress to impress. She chose a pair of black slack pants, a light pink button-up short sleeve top, and a pair of black heels. She then showered, got dressed, curled her hair, and put a light amount of makeup on.
Once she was ready for her day, she made sure that she had everything needed for the two classes she had for the day. Two books, two notebooks, a pen, a pencil, and her notebook computer. She stuffed it all into a black bag with her cell phone and walked towards the table to grab her keys.
As she parked her car in the lot, she peeked to see if there was anyone she knew around yet. She didn't want to walk to class alone, but so far she didn't see anyone. "Oh well.." she thought to herself. She grabbed her bag and stuffed her keys into it before she climbed out of the car. She then began walking towards the entrance of the college. She was in no hurry as she hoped to run into someone that she knew before she reached the classroom.
The hallways seemed as if they were a mile long. She sighed to herself as she stopped just near the doorway of her first class. She hadn't seen anyone she knew, so she walked inside and took a quick peek around. There were a handful of students inside already, but she was sure that more would arrive as the start of class drew nearer. She looked around and decided to take a seat in the middle of the rows since there were already several students in the front and back rows.
Once seated she set her pack out and pulled out the necessary materials, her textbook, notebook, pen, pencil, and computer. She checked her cell phone one more time before putting it on the silent setting and back into her bag. She was so nervous about being in a new school and not knowing anybody. She had been so used to being a popular girl with a ton of friends before. She needed to do something to impress these people and become popular again. She pondered silently to herself as she waited...
