Fallon was so excited about today. Today she would be looking for a wedding dress, for her wedding that was in three months. She still couldn't believe that it was only three months away! She was excited but also nervous that something was going to go wrong. With a relationship that started out wrong it had to end right. Right? At least that's the way that Fallon saw it. But it was already turning out to be wrong.
Her wedding while it was going to be the happiest day of Fallon's life, wasn't going to be the way she had pictured it. She had pictured herself getting married to the man she loved: which she was, she had pictured her family being there: which the were, she had pictured her two best friends being by her side the whole way: which they weren't, well at least one of them wasn't.
It wasn't like she could really blame Chey for hating her. She had lied to her, and not just about the man she was dating, but about the man she was dating was Chey's father. And when Fallon had finally gotten up the courage to tell Chey about Dom and herself, Fallon had already been big and pregnant. Addie had stayed by Fallon the whole time. It didn't help either when Addie had told her before she had told Chey about being pregnant too. It wasn't their faults they were both pregnant at the same time and Chey wasn't. And Fallon knew that was something else that upset Chey, it was that she felt left out. While Fallon and Addie were bringing new life into this world Chey was just sitting back and watching it happen. She knew Chey would never admit it, but the three had done everything together, except this one thing.
With a sigh Fallon grabbed her messenger bag and exited her car. Addie and her had made a date to come dress shopping today, and she wasn't going to let dark thoughts bring her down. She clicked the locks closed and fumbled for her phone. Finally grabbing a hold of it she pulled it out and shot Addie a text:
hey girl, i just got here. gonna go on in so im not late for the appointment. come on in when you get here
She pressed send as she pulled open the giant glass doors that closed off the dress shop from the rest of the mall and walked up to the receptionist's desk. The receptionist barely looked up from the computer before sprouting off some rude comment.
"Teen Gap is two stores over."
Fallon glared at the red head and replied back rudely. "Well that's nice but I have an appointment. Rodriguez."
"Uh huh, sure you do." The red head said not even checking her computer.
This wasn't supposed to be a day where Fallon killed someone but it was fast getting to be that way. Just as she was about to jump over the counter and strangle the life out of the bottle colored woman, a strikingly pretty Mexican woman walked up front.
"Fallon? What are you doing waiting up here still?" She asked in flawless English.
Never before in her life had she been more happy to see her Aunt Maria.
"According to her I don't have an appointment." Fallon glared at the red head. As did Maria. Maria didn't even spare the red head a look as she grabbed Fallon's hand and pulled her to the back of the store where all the dresses where.
"Where is Addie? I thought she was coming too."
"She should be here soon."
"We will wait then." Maria said handing Fallon a glass of water.
